I spent two years there (1979-1980) when the US Air Force had a communications site on the mountain above Fererries.

I went in 2003 when i was just 14. It was a good place for kids with waterparks, minigolf, football pitches, karaoke and other fun stuff. I dont know what its like now or what its like for Adults but my parents and aunts and uncles seemed to have a good time too.

Benito Atienza hi is it very expensive to live there? ATM I’m looking at as many videos as possible as I’d Love 💓 to visit hopefully next year- but I’m a wheelchair user so have to find suitable places that are wheelchair accessible. This is a Really Beautiful island, you’re very lucky to live there 😊

I'm from Menorca and my favorites beaches are: Cala Cavalleria, Cala Pregonda and Cala Pilar in the north and Cala Macarella, Cala Mitjana and Binigaus in the south. If you don't like the sand there are some options like Ses olles, Es calo blanc, Cala en Brut... I hope it helps to someone😊

Lots of seafood, didn't see any wind surfers on my 2 trips to the island. Best bet would be to contact Turismo Menorca. Safe travels.

Sorry this is probably a bit late for you, but I'm guessing you found out the buses are more like coaches, and are not particularly wheelchair friendly, hope you enjoyed cala Galdana though, absolutely stunning place!!

hahaha! Chances of seeing a lobster on the beach is very rare. They swim away from people and are stealthy in manner. Safe travels :)

hello I like to rent a motorcycle and visit all the places you mention. stop and walk the caminos de caballos (horse trails) leading to Castales (beach coves ) .my favor Castel is by Ciutadella port light house. saludos

Going in a week for 2 weeks

I'm visiting Mallorca this sumer and will take the ferry to Ibiza for a one day visit. Should I also try and visit Menorca,or is Menorca very similar to Mallorca or Ibiza?

Menorca is totally different than the other islands. The whole island is a biosphere reserve. Mallorca is very large, Formentera is super tiny and Ibiza is famous for nightclubs. All the islands have great natural scenery and beaches.

This depends on what you determine to be cold. Also time of year greatly affects the water temperature. in summer it was fresh but not cold for me, but i come from Florida where the water temperatures in summer get pretty warm. Hope this helps.
