The "white bread" one seems odd. As a European that's travelled around quite a bit, I can safely say that most European countries have some sort of sliced bread, more or less white/non-nutritious as well. We also have pharmaceutical ads on tv, probably less and less weird ones than in the US bc afaik you can only advertise over-the-counter stuff here.

The drinking age was lowered to 18 in the early 1970s. There was such an increase in alcohol abuse and alcohol related highway deaths involving 18, 19 and 20 year olds, that Congress raised the age back up to 21 and tied it to the highway funding for the states.

I'm old enough to remember when there was no such thing as free drink refills in American restaurants - and not just the fast foodies; I remember learning the metric system in the 7th grade because there was a rush on to get Americans educated about it. Just as I was starting to get it, metric system was dropped from the curriculum. I prefer my bread pre-sliced - that way I'll know that it'll fit in my toaster.

Sliced white bread? Dude, you need to travel more. It's been readily available in Australia, New Zealand & the UK for decades from personal experience. I'm sure that it's available in many other countries too. It's been around so long that there are regional delicacies, such as the Chip Butty from the UK & Fairy Bread in Australia, that use sliced white bread as the base.
"super size" was in Canada too. McDonald's stop the term and replaced it with "Up Size" now, and Sliced bread, especially white has been around a very long time. in Canada, the majority drinking per province is 19, only three provinces is it 18. I'm surprised for a CANADA BASED CHANNEL not to know this
Super Size doesn't exist at McDonalds anymore.
You guys can keep all ten things on this list for yourself 😅 greetings from Germany

1. Weekly school shootings.
I knew about the free refills, spray cheese, the super size thing well during Super Size Me period and post that things have changed, Black Friday though it's also in Europe now, knew about the Girl Scout cookies and imperial units. Maybe I knew about the pharmaceutical commercials.
Free refills are available elsewhere too , just not for sodas. Super sizes for different foods are available too with different names such as Jumbo and boom-boom
I work for a retail drug store chain in the US. I absolutely loathe those prescription drug commercials. So often a customer hears about a drug through those commercials then comes into the store asking where it is. When we explain that it’s a prescription drug. You need to see a doctor about it blah blah blah they don’t want to hear it.
In Serbia they also advertise drugs. It is usually for cold medicine, probijotic or erectile dysfunction

America is a whole continent !!
in the uk we have free refills, white bread, our road signs are in mph
The country of Belize in Central America has white sliced bread, they use the Imperial Units. Mexico franchise restaurants also have free refills
White bread accounts for 76% of the bread sold in the UK. So how come only in USA?
We have a lot of white bread in the UK, but we do have a fair amount of brown too
My Southeast Asian country doesn't have some of the things on this list except for sliced white bread [loaf], free refills (in our version of Costco), pharmaceutical commercials (but not like in America or print ads in magazines) and maybe a version of Black Friday (albeit slightly tamed). I was fascinated by the loud garbage disposal in my aunt's apartment (when I visited the U.S) and I wanted to try Girl Scout cookies 😭
Last time I was in a bar in the U.S. they wouldn't do free refills on soft drinks anymore. So unless you're dining in at Denny's, McDonald's, Wendy's or Burger King in the U.S., some places won't refill soft drinks here.

Poland here. We actually do have white bread, altough it's called "toast bread" here and is not as sickeningly sweet as US version... though, in US most breads found in supermarkets are sweet, Idk why (maybe that's why you have salted butter? which I personally think is an abomination, btw). I only found some bakery varieties edible when I was in US. We also have American cheese? Not sprayed one, but those melted squares from Kraft or Hochland can be found in practically every grocery store, big or smal. Now, Idk about supersizing, but soda refils are common in fast food chain restaurants. It's a shame we don't get coffee refils... but we don't have diners here. And lets be honest, while you can get sandwiches and desserts in a cafe, you generally go there to get high quality coffee, so it's just fair you pay for each cup. We also have medical ads. They're mostly for vitamins, suplements, cold reliefs, painkillers, inflamation and heartburn reliefs, not for prescripted drugs, but they still exist. In recent years they also advertise more health-awareness content, imploring people to get regular healthchecks and whatnot. As for drinking and voting, we can do both at 18. As well as getting driver's license.
We have most of these here in Canada as well.
Garbage disposers are called garburators in Canada. Just like the good old chesterfield. ( I know, I know, not everywhere in Canada.)
As an Australian, we've had sliced white bread as a staple in grocery stores my whole life. so that entry was blatantly false, and poorly researched. Shame Watchmojo.
