Strong 💪🏾 list AJ , and although I Thank you for the shoutout for the Champions of LA , you must not have watched part two, because they along with the Power Pack were included on it … if there is a part 3 , I still think Marvel’s premier WWII team the Invaders ( Captain America & Bucky, OG Human Torch & Toro, Namor, Miss America, The Whizzer, Spitfire, & Union Jack) …Keep Up The Great Work 🖖🏾

Let's not forget about the Elementals that was published by Comico comics who had also published the Justice Machine

How about the new Fantastic Four, comprised of Wolverine, The Hulk (gray), Ghost Rider and Spider-Man.

The Good Guys, Defiant Comics 1993-94, created by Jim Shooter made up of a group of teens who were in a comic book shop when a "strange event" happened were given superpowers and mostly fought villains who got powers from the same source. I enjoyed the stories but series was cancelled when Defiant Comics went out of business.

Fantastic job on this list AJ I never heard of these Superhero Teams like The New Warriors The Justice Machine The Champions of Los Angeles and The Legion of Substitute Heroes.

New Warriors? I thought they were pretty well known...then again i grew up when these were all first run so lol

So, fun trivia about the Great Lakes avengers Character Big Bertha. In her civilian life she was a supermodel, but to become her super powered persona she drew in extra mass and bulk. What became problematic about the character was that in order to return to her non-super self he had to expel the excess mass of her body out through her mouth. Yes, in order to regain her normal size she had to puke it all out. This became problematic for two reasons, one there were those that accused to character of promoting the unhealthy lifestyle that many teenage girls were living at that time by throwing up to keep from gaining weight. The other reason the character was problematic was that people with that eating disorder, and various advocacy groups, considered the character to be making light of a very serious medical issue suffered by tens of thousands of young girls.
