The Pop Corners ad was NOT deep-faked, or CGI. They actually brought the actors back to make the ad. The reason that they don't look quite the same, is because they are older.

Exactly. I was going to make this same comment until I saw your response. Clips with voice overs don't do the commercials justice. You can't appreciate the creativity, humor, story, scope, acting , etc. Viewing these cut-up versions really skews the viewers' impressions. I guess there could be copy-right issues, but one would think that these companies would welcome their commercials to be shared and re-watched throughout the internet.

if it's watchmojo, you should definitely always expect there to be a voice over list rather than just whatever content they're narrating about by itself

For once, the game was better than the ads.

Too bad you weren’t able to see the commercials in their entirety. Being fed clips by Mojo takes something away.

Will Ferrell was also at the Wrexham game this past Saturday, and no one is sure why because Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney weren’t there. He even had drinks at the local pub featured in the documentary before hand. Some were wondering that as the team gets bigger, perhaps Rob and Ryan will want future investors. And I believe he’s an owner of LAFC from the MLS.

Agreed. WatchMojo is a pretty crummy channel imo. Too much talking and not enough showing. Each clip is say 90 secs long and 89 seconds is them talking about the clip.

Superb bowl commercials have really gone done hill the last 10 years. People used to actually laugh watching them

yeah that's what i said. They used to be a lot more consistent with the quality. Now it just keeps dropping off each year

The female comedian was Natasha leggero, y'all really enjoyed her when you watched some of her stand up.

The Rock Star and the Doritos Triangle ones were better than they let on, I think. If you see the whole thing, they were pretty damn funny IMO.

We need to actually see the ad.

They were all pretty weak this year, you guys didn't miss anything.

You are also watching sec at a time and and hearing her talk rather than the actual commercials. There's probably a comp put there

Mojo always talks over the good stuff. Instead of explaining the commercial throughout the whole commercial, it would be better if they just showed most of the commercial. But they do that with all their Mojo's.

The Clueless commercial also brought back Supergrass as the background music! The greatest group to come out of the 90's.

There are two different M&M mascot things that you are getting confused with. The actual controversy was them changing the design of one of the mascots and certain weirdos getting upset that they made the mascot unsexy. Then this year leading up to the Super Bowl was when they said the mascots are all gone and will be replaced by Maya. The former was an actual change that happened that isn't being reverted. The latter involving Maya was a marketing thing.

The M&M's add was bwcause fox news freaked out about M&Ms doing a tribute for a women's thing.

Modern American commercials (not funny) ranked by Canadians (no sense of humor) and you end up with a long list of really bad commercials...

The Breaking Bad commercial was the only good one. But their faces did look like they were digitally altered to make them look younger.

All that money spent and this was the best these writers could come up with? And the higher ups at these companies had to approve them. Jeez these were bad. Really really bad.

@counselthyself Walter Camp (the inventor of America football) was an American at Yale University. James Naismith was Canadian but invented Basketball in Massachusetts, therefore it is American. If you invent something in one country but are originally born in another, that invention is labeled for the country you invent it in. (Universally accepted practice) Hockey of course is Canadian sort of but not really since various forms of Ice Hockey were played around the world before Canada even existed. Baseball is way to ambiguous. Yes the first "official" game was played in Canada but evidence suggests that the game originated in the UK.

Super Bowl ads in the last 3 or 4 years have gone down hill, its all about trying not to offend anyone while keeping their Diversity and Inclusion Index score high.

I think that people loved the animals in the commercials. Peta is who they are trying not to be noticed by.

I hate WatchMojo so much. It would have been much better to get a compilation showing the full ads without any annoying voice over and clips that are cut.

Not that the ads were all that good this year but you don't really get any of the magic from this watch mojo compilation. Should have tried to find a playlist of the full commercials. Again. None of them were all that funny. A Lot of nostalgia and light parody. But you miss out on the whole vibe of the ads with watch mojo.

Some liberals cried that the woman had such girly high heels and had brown mm that was appropriating black culture apparently. So they had to redesign the characters before just getting rid of them.

Not one word of that is true. No one was complaining about the high heels and they most certainly didn't think the brown M&M was appropriating anything. Not only is she a candy, not a human, she's literally voiced by Vanessa Williams, who is a black woman. Appropriation wouldn't even make sense in that context. The company's marketing department just made some changes to the design, like every company does with their products every few years. The conservatives decided it somehow must've been a part of a "woke" agenda and absolutely lost their minds. The company thought the conservatives freaking out, over made up scenarios, would make for a funny campaign. That's what this commercial was about. They never got rid of the spokes candies. The whole thing was a joke for publicity.

The thing with the M&Ms was that conservative in the US were mad that they made the female candies less sexy. You read that right, less sexy for cartoon candies. They had segments on Fox News about Mars candies going "Woke" and calling for a boycott until they put high heels back on one of the female candies.

He doesn't compete with Colbert or Kimmel. He comes on half an hour earlier and they are not competing for the same ad dollars. People who watch Colbert are more educated and younger. Colbert's viewers attract completely different advertisers. Watch both and jot down the list of advertisers. Colbert's competition is Fallon and Kimmel. Fallon's audience might have overlap with Gutfeld. But not the other two.

Breaking bad was def a top notch, the rock star one is good, but they lost the brand they were selling in it. one that is stupid, but a reminesencent type is for Tmobile and an old travolta movie.

It's so dumb to talk over the commercial with 4 tiny clips of them. There's no point.

I don't like (WATCH MOJO). They are too edited and fluff. Would MUCH rather see Office Blokes reacting to the actual (full) advertisements. (Watch Mojo is always a wet blanket on a fire.)
