PLO was easily one of the best Jedi ever man

The Clone Wars produced a lot of tearful moments, Death of Five's trying to make everyone aware of the inhibitor ships, the loss of Echo on the Citadel, the death of Waxer on Umbara at the hands of Rex and his squad as they are led to believe Waxer's squad were enemies in clone armour, 99 when defending his home as a soldier and not as a defective clone, Asoka leaving the order, Obi-Won losing Satine at the hands of Darth Maul, and many more moments. The Clone Wars is truly some of the best Star Wars material

@@Madgerger1205 Because it's fairly safe censorship wise to show deaths by laser weapons. Just a burn mark from the shot, no blood or stuff like that. As for all the explosive deaths, you simply don't show what little is left of them. And since war has always been part of this franchise, you can't very well water it all down.

What makes Ahsoka's leaving even more heart-breaking is that if you look in the background, you see Plo Koon, the very person who brought "Little Soka" into the Order, start to look sad, showing emotion with his eyes.

The only time I've ever cried in Star Wars was during the last Clone Wars arc. Order 66 from Ahsoka's perspective was quite interesting and utterly heartbreaking.

I think the death of Shmi Skywalker is also very sad. Their reunion after a decade was so tragically brief, with her dying before she could finish saying, “I love you.” Anakin’s fear of losing her came to pass, and this led him to commit his first great atrocity.

I feel like Star Wars has a lot of feel good endings for the heroes, even if they go through trauma, it always ends with like a bright future moment for most of them. Rouge One, showed just how high of a risk it was to get those plans and then get them transmitted. It was incedibly sad, but that movie didn't make light of how daunting and ultimately sacraficial that mission was to see through to the end.

I was crying when Luke showed up just because of nostalgia and then Mando said goodbye tp Grogu and I absolutely lost it. Ita just all so good.

Kanan’s sacrifice and death, Ahsoka’s fight with Vader in a Sith temple, and Ezra’s sacrifice are also top tier heartbreaking moments that make me cry, along with this list. In general, Star Wars makes me cry too much and i was never prepared for this. Im forever gutted. 😭😭😭

Ahsoka walking away from the Jedi Order will never stop being tragic for me. I was only 11 when it happened for the first time and I was heartbroken, and all these years later even knowing everything that happens to her afterward, it doesn’t hit any less hard.😢

Rogue One was brilliant. Close to my favourite and really epitomised the theme of the sacrifice of the Rebel Alliance.

@@jeannahicks7251 Honestly if we forget the originals for a second its probably top 3 easily. Because what you have is the original platform for star wars which is the rebellion vs the empire. With almost entirely original characters, this means Disney can write about an important moment in the rebellion with characters they can't mess up or get wrong. As well as some of the best special effects we've had in star wars, like the death star scenes. Not to mention those characters were some of the best actors star wars has had since the originals. George Lucas is great at world building so they were able to take that and combine it with new characters and make a masterpiece.

I cried seeing Anakin lose to Obi-wan everytime when I was very little kid and I still cry during this scene to this day.

Kanan's sacrifice in Rebels was, for me, the saddest moment.

One of the saddest moments for me (that wasn't mentioned) was the death of Qui-Gon Jinn. As a kid watching for the first time, I loved his character and to see him suddenly being struck down by Darth Maul was heartbreaking. His final moments with Obi-Wan made the scene even more painful.

just before he passes when Chirute Imwe says "its alright, look to the force, there you will always find me" has me well up

Fun fact: when the scene was being shot for the younglings during Order 66, Hayden said “boo”. That’s why the youngling in front moved before Anakin ignited his lightsaber

The “Then you will die” from rebels. How on earth was this missed. This packed a huge punch especially if youre coming straight from clone wars

I knew The Mandalorian series was inspired by the EPIC Lone Wolf and Cub series.

A couple moments from Rebels definitely should have been included. 1. Ahsoka fighting Vader inside the Sith Temple. 2. Kanan's death.

Haha yes, watching the sequel trilogy made me cry for how weird it was - don’t get me wrong there were some decent moments - but I am in belief that Ezra saving Ahsoka in Rebels changed the timeline and now the sequel doesn’t happen. Cause Ahsoka helped Luke in the Book of Boba Fett, Luke now never attacks Ben Solo cause Ahsoka changed the way he trained his students.

This one and some others that I know are very underrated and really put a toll on the viewer

Luke's death felt so unjustified. I expected him to die at one point or another during the trilogy sequels, but that the way they handled it (well his death and the last days/weeks/months/years? of his life) didn't feel like it paid the proper hommage to a character that gave most Star Wars fans if not most people a bit of hope during tough times.

What, no death of Kanan? Had me sobbing like a baby.

I actually just watched the last episode of TCW in prep to rewatch Revenge of the Sith(my personal favorite) and that episode still gets me, especially when Ashoka is standing over the clone’s graves. Also, loving the amount of SW videos you guys have put out today, you guys were prepared. May The 4th Be With You!

The writing is really really good, and Ashley Eckstein’s voice performance is so moving. I almost cried when she put her hands on Rex and said “I am one with the force and the force is with me.” (Although that may have been the episode before the finale, not positive either way) It’s not even a sad scene, it’s just very touching imo. She’s a great(and criminally underrated) voice actress

The final two episodes of the clone wars, are a emotional wreck. The clones being victims, just as much as the Jedi is absolutely tragic.

For me it definitely has to be when Ahsoka left the Jedi temple. It's almost like walking away from your family or a relationship when you know it's toxic, even if you love them. Courageous and heart-wrenching. 😣

This man cried like a baby in front of my 20 year old daughter when Baby Yoda and Mando said good bye.

Leia's death was the moment that got me the most. The way it's shot and edited just makes it seem like Leia was accidentally killed by Rey as she was turning Ben. It's honestly peak Star Wars...

I'm disappointed that several emotional "Rebels" moments didn't make it on this list nor get honorable mentions, but I'm even more upset that Order 66 didn't make it into the top 5 or even be #1. I can't help but turn on the waterworks every time I rewatch Order 66 or experience another perspective of this tragic moment.

Order 66 was hard to watch, especially the youngling part. Also, a quick shout out to Obi-Wan, he had to witness a lot, so much death and loss. Obi-Wan basically lost everything and in the end, he went out his way.

"You were my brother Anakin. I loved you." - Obi Wan Biggest tearjerker line in the whole saga.

Han Solo’s death is saddest movie death for me. I almost shouted “No!!” at the movies but everyone would shushed me. Still mad at Kylo for that moment!

The death of Han Solo in Episode VII was tear-jerking. 😭

Back in late 2015 when TFA was came out, I was so pissed when Han Solo was killed by his own son, I was so pissed off that the first thing I want to do after I watched the movie was going to the closest Toys R Us store and destroy all of Kylo Ren figures I saw (luckily, I didn't do that and I would regret if I do that)

I feel sorry for Chewbacca. He lost his best friend Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, but losing Leia Organa was the most heartbreaking for him the most.

oof, the way "Han Solo" was pronounced was tough but the moments in this list and others within the Star Wars franchise were more devastating to watch in a powerful emotional manner.

Luke and Leia's goodbye in Episode 8 made me cry not only because of the tragic loss of Carrie Fisher but also just seeing the brother and sister say what will ultimately their final goodbye just killed me. RIP our Princess

My saddest moments. 1. Luke becomes a force ghost and the goat all at the same time. 2. Vader's death in return of the jedi 3. Han solos death in the force awakens. 4. Master Leia's death 5. Order 66 6. Obi wan becomes a force ghost in a new hope. 7. Yoda becomes a force ghost in empire strikes back 8. Kylo Ren's sacrifice in the rise of skywalker 9. Rey Skywalker in the rise of skywalker 10. Luke rescues grogu.

The fact that Kannan's death isn't on here is just pure disrespect

The scene of darth Vader crying on mustafar when he still has pieces of anakin in him is tough to watch. So much raw emotion and the clone wars show just magnifies that big time

For me one of the saddest scenes is when Rex is fighting the inhibitor chip and tells ahsoka about Five's and then later on when he cries because he knows he will have to go against his own brothers

The death of Han Solo made me so emotional.

Leia's death almost made me cry when watching The Rise of Skywalker for the first time.

All of the Seige of Mandalore has so many moments that just rip your heart out. Honestly some of the absolute best Star Wars content we've ever gotten.

Seen all ten of these moments over the years and only actually cried with the number one choice. Three other tearful moments were: 1. IG-11’s sacrifice in Mandalorian 2. Kanan Jarrus’ sacrifice in Rebels 3. Watching new trilogy and realising I can’t get that time back

Absolutely love Luke’s entire arc in TLJ. Peak Star Wars. Thanks appreciating despite all the negativity.

The ending to the fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan on Mustafar always makes me sad. Revenge of the Sith had a lot of sad moments anyway. - Order 66 - “You Were The Chosen One!” - Padmé dies at childbirth.

Luke’s last moment with Leia on Crait was emotional because it was like Mark saying goodbye to Carrie, Luke’s last stand and death in general was just sad. Also Chewie’s reaction to losing Leia in TROS always brings a tear

i agree with a statement in the order 66 part about how extended media helped build connections. when i used to watch the order 66 scene i never cared for Plo Koon at all, once i watched clone wars show it’s literally a scene that makes me cry every time now

Anakin's death was truly the saddest moment in Star Wars for me. When you think about it, he was a slave his whole life. Slave to the Hutts, Slave to the Jedi, & Slave to Palpatine. Only in his final moments he was truly free. Legendary.
