I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices that. In a zombie apocalypse when people hunker down, they're on the clock. What most would do is immediately put up "Help" or "SOS", implying they are on the brink of being compromised, which can make the very rescuers they need AVOID them, because it wouldn't be safe to risk manpower saving people who've probably already run out of time. If you are able to tell any rescuers you are completely safe, they may be more willing to spend the resources & manpower to save you & your supplies. Of course this logic can backfire, but it kinda seems like it would be more likely to work, when you think about it.

Industrial duct tape is near mpossible to bite or tear through. Use a couple of layers to provide maximum stability and mobility and use extra care and maybe an extra layer when applying in joint areas.

Saw a list about the dumbest decisions in a zombie movie. Now this list, just like the other, proves those people are smarter than anyone in reality because their worlds don't have multitude of people thinking that eating a Tide Pod is a challenge or putting Gorilla Glue in their hair is a good thing or banning fictional cartoon characters solves society problems. In short, Zombie Apocalypse World is better than reality.

Jerry asks the family in the apartment for magazines and duck tape to cover his lower legs and forearms and just before the helicopter arrives you can see that a zombie bites him in his forearm and armor works. One of the best ideas didn't make the list. It comes from Zombieland but is not on Columbus' rules. Make a lot of noise intentionally. When entering a supermarket or souvenir shop on a lonely country road, pluck a guitar or knock over a display case. If you get the attention of the zeds while your back is to the door, you have options. One or two come your way, take 'em down. If a dozen rush you, you can nope out in time. If you tried sneaking around the whole time, you might be deep in the shop when a sneakier bastard gets you. In more urban settings, set off car alarms -- which can be done from a couple blocks away -- if zombs respond to that kind of thing (Left 4 Dead). Set up a Bluetooth speaker and play some audio that they do respond to, if they've learned to tune out noises that don't sound like food. And don't stay too nearby. Calling a bunch of undead to the area and sticking around is a bad idea. But trying to run silently away with no cover noise is fatal.

The smart thing would to board up the windows from the outside and not the inside. Have two safe zones. 1st basement, 2nd upstairs. Put 2x4s or something to fortify the door from outside pushing. Scatter furniture so the zombies can't get up the stairs or easily push on the basement door. Have two teams, one head up and one head down. But before that happens they should have killed the zombies as they came to the house and not let them gather in too great a number. If I was by myself I'd probably pick the basement. If I was by myself, healthy and could jump out a 2nd story window I would have fortified the upstairs. First thing is to shoot Cooper, he is the Gilligan of the group. In real life I'd died of fright when I saw the dead walking about. lol

Best tip: you don’t have to be the fastest, you just need to be able to outrun the slowest runner

The movie Rec that you were showing looks EXACTLY like the movie Quarantine that came out over a decade ago. Not sure which movie came first but they definitely copied off each other.

@UCNhVGZqbnAMPc05gzQiEesA One I didn't find it funny at all. Two I don't like to see kids in movies involved in vulgar humor. Three the man character is supposed to be a major D Bag on purpose and dude acted it to 11. I was in a movie discussion group and someone chose it one week. I couldnt even finish it.
