A week after watching this video I purchased the game and had a ton of fun with it. At the time of writing this I just beat the game, and the credits are now rolling. Ironically enough I beat it with rock star so thanks for the suggestion wambu Oh and I doubt your reading this but meh, love your stuff wambu, I started watching you 7 years ago and even now that I'm a grown man your videos still manage to smack a smile on my face to the point where I rewatch them all near monthly. The video opens up with chaotic april fools energy, only to snap back to reality, and throughout the video we get a very mini review of a roguelike not a lot of people may have played, as well as great comedy, great scripts, a CALLBACK! (Which is a rare thing to see in Wambu videos but certainly not unwelcome.) and a fantastically edited video with so much enjoyable about it. It's truly a christmas miracle, but no gift should be appreciated without saying thank you. So thank you Wambu, and Murr crimbo. And a happy new year to you, and everyone else~.

this comment sums up all of my thoughts on this video except one i thought i was watching an april fools video from the beginning

It's funny, this isn't a game I've heard of and the playstyle doesn't really seem like something I'm interested in...but Wambu has such a great sense of humor and his videos always have fantastic writing that, even in games I'm not interested in, I have to watch his videos because they're just that good :)

I thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish and absolutely none of your picks are bad ones. If anybody tells you Ghoul being on a top 10 list is a bad thing, tell them I said they're wrong, aggressively! It's fantastic to see someone make a list, based entirely on fun factor and how awesome and appealing a skull is to the player. Well done!

Have you ever thought to yourself, "Man, I might be too funny."? Because, you're one of the few KZreadrs that gets me to laugh at EVERY video. Truly a masterpiece of a channel.

I think the mummy is a metal slug reference. Those kinds of guns and abilities are all a thing the main characters can do in those games.

When I saw the Mummy skull I immediately thought about Mummymon’s first appearance in the anime, where he carried around a gun.

I have a story in regards to the Grave Digger skull. In a new run through the game I was using the grave digger skull and going for a summoner run. In the game there are periodic rest areas where you can heal up, get items or other things. One of the npc's that can be there is this headless skeleton that can give you a skull in exchange for giving him one of your's. For whatever reason, I don't know how, he had ANOTHER grave digger skull. I don't know if it was a glitch or if that npc can still have skulls you already have but I was able to go through the game in a run I like to call: DOUBLE GRAVE ROBBERY. Unfortunately at some point in the fourth area there were so many effects, summons and enemies getting summoned that the game hard crashed, so I never got to complete the run. It was memorable while it lasted though.

Only Wambu can take a game I have never heard of and make a well put together and funny Top 10 out of it! Great vid!

I installed this game right after finishing the video and the fact that nobody has talked about this before astounds me. It's so good

Skul the Hero Slayer is such an overlooked gem! I love the Skulls in it so much. My fav has to be my Thief / Grim Combo! x3 Go fast and KILL without mercy!! >:3

So I doubt anyone will see this, but a week ago, I finally managed to beat this game for the first time. It was on Rookie Mode, and by the skin of my teeth, but I did it. The game has been updated so much with both new skulls added and old skulls drastically updated that I feel like this deserves a revisit

I'm gonna be real, while the entire video is absolutely phenomenal and it's really nice to see another Wamboy Upload, the music in the BG of each segment is amazing. I immediately noticed the MadWorld track during Ghoul's segment, and each numbered slot has more great tracks from (hopefully) great games. Brilliant work y'all!

@@droideka1890 No, just the standard difficulty the game starts at. But now i've done like 20 runs and still can't get past the 2nd boss.
