What a horrible thing to befall Jackie Coogan, having his parents squander all of his money he earned as a child star. It makes me realise how much children are corrupted in Hollywood.

Pity the Coogan law didn't protect Gary Coleman.

It should be noted that Jackie Coogan's father had taken good care of his money, but he died only five months before his son turned 21. Coogan's mother and stepfather apparently spent almost all of it in that five months.

1:05 "He's endured enough" Oh yeah, I'm sure those decades he should have been spending inside of a prison cell were so fucking stressful for the man who lives in a mansion.

Right? Plus, when she's talking about how him being in jail wouldn't erase what he did to her... sure, but it would reduce the likeliness of him doing that to another person.

I'm shocked no one was arrested in the death of Natalie Wood.

What shocks me even more is that Christopher Walken was on that boat when Natalie Wood died!

I’m somewhat surprised or baffled that Debbie resumed her friendship with Elizabeth Taylor. I know one cannot hold a grudge against someone for decades/centuries for what they did/done but still…

It was a huge mistake that Elizabeth made when she married Eddie and ended her friendship with Debbie. Remember, Elizabeth's third husband, Mike Todd had just died in a horrible plane crash just a year before Elizabeth married Eddie, and Elizabeth had said many times that she only married him due to her grief. Grief can make people do things out of the ordinary

Interesting list, thanks. I would have added the murder of William Desmond Taylor, a massive scandal that caused all sorts of shockwaves.

The older Hollywood stories in the video is a near 1:1 match to what was seen in Babylon. Also I thoroughly enjoyed She Said due to the attention to detail in The Fall of The Weinstein Company.

Ive watched only 2 of Roman Polanki's films, China Town and Tess (dedicated to his late wife Sharon who loved the book and wanted him to direct it) before I found out what he did. I cant watch The Pianist or his other works

When I hear the name "Joan Crawford" the first thing that I think of is the classic Blue Oyster Cult song of that name about Joan. Not the film about her.
