Definitely a video for wealthy individuals, which I'm not, but I still watched this out of curiosity, and I'm not suprised the Maldives resort was ranked #1.

My mom was invited to the Maldives as a thank you from here work. And I was luckily able to go and it was the nicest place I’ve ever been.

@@Iceontopice_988 that's great and I hope you enjoyed that experience to the fullest. The Maldives looks more like the ideal honeymoon destination than an ordinary friend or family vacation destination to me.

I got 300 metres to maho beach and all inclusive with room bar included. Sonesta maho beach was my best experience so far.

Chiang Mai is a weird choice. The city has no beach. I rather stay in Elephant Sanctuary again than in a river resort

I'm not a fan of resorts, and usually stay in self catering accommodation and sometimes you can get that with a resort but is more costly, not that I'm on a budget, but I just don't require a lot and seems to me a waste, but that's just me, others surely find it worthwhile.
