i was a christian served on ministry for 8 years. i found out i was lied to iam now converted to islam a month now Inshaallah

my parents are still Christian Pastors, they refuse to watch your material and/or anything else about Islam... i make doa often that Allah swt will open their hearts they way mine was... i tell them "If only you knew how much us Muslims love Jesus peace be upon him" and try to show Islam through my actions and my change in lifestyle, yet i fear i am not so perfect as to set a good example - have you guys any suggestions?

Theres no confusion in Islam and this is what makes it more beautiful. I thank Allah everyday for making me Muslim. Alhamdulillah

This is really interesting! My mother is a Protestant Christian woman and my father is an Atheist, so I don't have much faith within my family. I wasn't baptized, nor was I ever really religious, although I did have a lust for God. Since my mother was a Christian woman, I looked into Christian beliefs, such as Trinity, etc. It didn't make too much sense. I had a very negative view on Islam during this period. I didn't have a negative view on Muslims at all, but I did on Islam, because the Quran is filled with passages of violence which commands Muslims to fight non Muslims, such as Quran 9:29 where it says, "Fight those who do not believe in Allah...", so I was afraid to even research Islam. Shortly after the tragic events which occurred on September 11th, one of my Muslim coworkers in my work place told me how much his heart pours out to the innocent people that lost their lives on that day, and how much he wants the families to know that his prayers and support is with them throughout their pains. I was really surprised, this was the first Muslim I actually got to know as a close associate, and he was saying his heart goes out to the innocent people? Aren't Muslims happy, and celebrating that innocent non Muslims died? Allah Akbar, right? I then, being very ignorant at the time, told him that the Quran is filled with passages which commands Muslims to kill non Muslims, and he said I had it all wrong. He said, "If that were true, why aren't 1 billion people parading on the streets, killing non Muslims?" The conversation went on, and on, until I researched Islam myself. I was really surprised, Islam made a lot of sense when it comes to faith. I always wanted to worship One God alone with no partners, and Islam believes in Jesus the same way Christians believe in Jesus, minus the Son of God and God himself. After a good amount of time researching, Islam made perfect and clear sense. I haven't converted to Islam, however, I do testify that the Quran is the word of God, and that Muhammad is definitely God's final messenger, and prophet. It's impossible for Jesus to be God. Even in the Old Testament, God can't be a man, according to Numbers 23:19!

I watched this video with a mindset that was negative but I now have a new found respect for Muslims.

HAHA, I remember being a practicing christian when I was kid, then when I by the grace of Allah came across this video, my whole faith was shattered, and I never expected that I would convert to Islam a few years after that by the age of 17. SubhanAllah

Ex Christians who covert always explain things better than Muslims who were born into their faith. They know how to explain things to us Christians who truly want to know Truth. Sadly many Muslims are hostile and have a sense of anger towards people who disagree. But this is a good man and if I ever convert(I am studying) I want to hold similar views to him.

Good point about explaining it to children I went to Sunday school from 6 to 16, and when I was around 7 I remember asking the teacher about the trinity, she explained it to me, and I told her I didn't understand, she just said "Don't worry, when you grow up, you'll understand" Result? I disbelieved in religion completely at a very early age.I had to go to mass and Sunday school, due to my family, but the questions kept popping up I was lost until I found Islam at the age of 28, alhamdulillah!!!

After seeing this video, my mind is more open than it has ever been. I have a LOT of reading to do. I want to know the truth. Because I am a critical thinker, this is possible. So my goal now is to learn the entire Bible, Quran, Dead Sea Scrolls, Torah etc... For now, Islam, I apologize for being so close-minded and for having developed such a bad idea about Muslims. The Qu'ran spoke what is in my heart ever since i am a child who go to church and look at my fellow christians quarreling each other.. I agree with all 10 points you made! I am so confused when it comes to religion....I feel believe in God and that Jesus was God's disciple that was born unto this world to preach God's word. I am just trying to open my heart & mind and learn about other religion's. My mom is a Jehovah Witness & I believe in a lot of what her religion teaches and my paternal Grandmother was Baptist and that was the religion I claimed to be as a child but now that I am a adult and started actually listening to what the "Christian" religion preaches...I don't agree with everything they preach. So I feel that the reason God gave me a brain and something called common sense is so I can learn about other religions and find which one I feel makes more sense...God Bless you both for giving me the opportunity to learn a little about what Muslims believe. thank you for your kind words, brother, it means a lot to me.. i am in a state of confusion right now but i am certain once i have read the holy Qu'ran, i could never return back to the way i am. i quit eating pork after i read it and i start bowing to Mecca yet i still need more knowledge about Islam. my Church Pastor cursed me and my christian brethren isolate themselves to me and said i cause great disturbance among my fellow church members when i question Jesus's divinity and bible authority

He gets this part right. Jesus is not and cannot be equal to God. Jesus himself probably never said that he was God. That was probably claimed on his behalf by others.

3 weeks ago, after my bible study, my church pastor said ill words to Islam. i do went to him and said what he said is inhumane and wrong.. Muslims are good people too, the church are just mixed up with US propaganda. i went to the mosque two times but i said to the Shiek who lives there i need to make up my mind.. i had never read such words that had deep impact to me.. i tried to introduce beautiful Qu'ran quotes which the church sisters admired but when i revealed its source, they hated me.

Whenever my friends say that Jesus PBUH is a god and disregard all of the biblical versus that say differently, i get a pit in my stomach because I feel like the devil has succeeded in deceiving the good people who are just trying to serve the true Creator.

Paul was the biggest liar, he hated the followers of Jesus, he never had a vision he was a liar, what happened he probably realised that persecuting the followers of Jesus was not the answer so he decided to trick them and misguide them, because everything he ever taught was the opposite of what Jesus peace be upon him taught. Top 10 reasons: 10. God cannot be born, God had no beginning. But "Jesus was born" 9. Jesus never said "I'm God" in any religion, Jesus never said "Worship me", No explicit statement ever. 8. No one has ever seen God. But "People saw Jesus" 7. During Jesus time, many people didn't believe Jesus was "God". If he was God, then everybody at that time would have worshiped him, but there were Jewish people practicing their religion and go to synagogue and so on. Jesus never taught Trinity. Word Trinity no where in the Bible. 6. God don’t Sleep, Eat, Drink,…etc. But “Jesus Slept, Ate, Drank”. Therefore, Jesus is a Messenger not God. It is like saying: Hey I had a son who is a Goldfish or I have a son who is me (I had myself, or I made myself). So it doesn’t make any sense. In fact, God doesn’t die, God doesn’t have children and God doesn’t have human needs. 2. God doesn’t change. For example, God doesn’t get old, or get tired, or steal. Because only God is perfect. 1. God is the object of worship. No matter what religion you follow and who ever they call God, is their object of worship. Like give devotion to God, make prayer to God and pay charity in the name of “God”. So had Jesus been God? He would have been told people to worship him. But in fact in Matthew 15:9 he did the exact opposite. “But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” also another translation “Their worship of me is empty since they teach instructions that are human rules”. So Jesus said don’t worship me in the Bible. In conclusion, there is no God but Allah and prophet Muhammed (pbuh) is his messenger. And Jesus was the messenger of Allah.

I actually was a little shocked when i learned that some people say that they are christians, and that they worship Jesus as God! I did not know this before. It says in the Bible that Jesus IS Gods son. Then.. He can not be God.. Right??

Allah (God) says the word "kun/qun" means "Be" and what He wants is created. So by saying Jesus (peace be upon him) is the word of God (Allah) we mean that Allah said BE (Qun) and Jesus (may upon him be peace) was created. He is one of the greatest messengers of Islam.
