This video goes over the top 10 reasons to go on a Viking Cruise vs other cruises. During this excursion, we took the Viking Mediterranean Odyssey cruise. We saw a total of 7 countries in 13 days. The first part of the video discusses why you need to take a Viking Cruise. The second half takes you on a tour of the ship with a few tips and tricks.

We flew into Barcelona Spain on June 6th and had the entire next day in Spain before our cruise departed. Our first port stop was Marseille, France where we also visit the Village of Eze. We then shipped off to Monaco and Nice, followed by Levorna (Piza) and Lucca Italy, Ancient Rome, Pompei, Corfu Greece, Dubrovnik Croatia, Slit & Krka Croatia, and the finally Venice Italy.
The cabin was incredible and spacious. Every cabin has a veranda overlooking the sea. I'd recommend the port side, hence, you get more scenery of the coast. They give you a small refrigerator with snacks, water, and soda. If you need binoculars they are in a hidden compartment in the desk. You can also get room service for no extra charge if you just want to chill in the cabin. There is an abundance of hot water for showers. The room is cleaned twice per day which includes a turndown service in the evening. They also deliver the next days itinerary each night. If you miss the port talks, don't fret. They are all available in your room.
Overall the experience was incredible. We can't wait to go on our next Viking Cruise.
