@@57F100 yes, thats what im sayin. But i think the best rtr rc cars would be the 4 traxxas rc's, the rustler, bigfoot, slash, and bandit. But they would all have to be the brushed versions. But there still probably some of the best rc's out there
Wow I'm so glad they included a nitro on the list for the nitrogang! That is epic.
Great as usual, always looking forward to the next new video.
The Arrma 3s series is incredible. I bought a big rock a month ago and have beaten the crap out of it, only have damaged a spring perch which was an easy fix. Today I went and bought the Senton 3s and it is also a ton of fun on an almost identical platform. The Arrma 3s platform is so easy to work on, you can get the whole truck down to a full service level in about 15-20 minutes (with hand tools). They both jump well, are incredibly fast, look amazing, and are insanely capable little trucks. 369 each at my hobby shop.
Nice variety! Way to hit all the marks with this one. 🤘🏻
That video was very informative and I found it easy to enjoy.
Thanks for the awesome videos! 👌 I like the $400. cutoff. It's a much more accessible option for some awesome rc's. I got a Bigrock a few months ago. It possibly has the most durable body on the market!

Great video and selection of cars. Brett is the best!
Solid top pick. I have a granite I've converted to a 4s outcast, 3670 2850kv motor on an 18t pinion... ITS WICKED. Running exb shocks and proline mx28's, backflip machine

Love my typhon 3s done few things but she is very durable still all the stock arms etc she's a tank an very fun. Just recently made her 4s an ooh bb. Next is going to be a k6s exb then after is either limitless or xmaxx. Bash on ^^
Just bought the Granite blx. Hopefully its as good as it seems to be.
The Arrma BRCC V2 is one of the best out there IMO. It's the only one in my fleet to last this long without breaking something. Still going strong and I've been pretty darn hard on it too. Great video and some very good looking models coming out.

I'd love to see a classic Mustang (67-69 specifically) on the Kyosho MK2 platform as a rtr. I'd definitely buy a couple of them.
What up, I got a Big Rock! Out of the box with 3S 11.1v li-po, it is an amazing truck. The modular design makes it really easy to work on too. Good looking, durable, fast!

Theyre ok for the price, but I regret not just having gotten a Maxx. Ive had to replace the driveshafts (one broke, figured the rest would too) & spur gear (factory plastic one stripped), as well as locktite the wheel hubs after they kept falling off. Spent $90 on 4 HD driveshafts & another $40 on a metal spur gear. The motor mount & mesh system are its biggest downfall, making it annoying to work on.

@@sofloflow i can name a whole lot more problems on the maxx coming from a person who owns both big rock and max, i am kind of disappointed tho because i spent like almost 300 bucks more on the maxx and that thing is fun but it really has to be babied, the arrma takes more of a beating to actually start destroying parts on it, just my opinion but the arrma is better and better for the price too

Just get an HPI Vorza Flux. Does 60mph+ stock. Runs 6S. You can still get them new or a nice used one for around $400. Amazing value because they also hold their value very well bc the people that know about them, love them.. Its an 1/8th scale 4wd buggy with a 4mm thick aluminum chassis. Metal D-Shafts. 6S capable. Castle Creations ESC & Castle 2200Kv motor for stock electronics. Mamba Monster 6S system with an HPi sticker on it. Still has the castle logo and works with my USB Castle Link Setup Cable & Program. Has everything a serious 4WD buggy or truck needs.. Fr/Cntr/Rear Metal silicone fluid filled Diff’s. Sway bars. Metal threaded big bore shocks. Super fast (63+mph rated). Super Durable. Parts are super cheap on eBay and it also uses any of the Hop-Up parts from the Hot Bodies HB8 buggy because it’s basically an electric version of it. I’ve had mine for like 4 years now and its literally indestructible. Its wayy above Traxxas quality. Easy to work on. All quality Hex screws. Just very well made and easy to upgrade or just leave it stock. Mine is stock except for aluminum hubs and steering servo/arm. I mostly run it on 4S because you just don’t need anything more than that and it stays super cool. I can ride in sand or loose dirt WOT for an hour and not even get the motor hot and i don’t even run a motor fan bc you don’t need it on 4S, offroad bashing. For 6S or for speed runs then yeah id probably throw a fan on it to be safe. It has the mounting bracket for it already on factory motor mount. Which i also like the design of that. Super simple. Ive ran it on 6S and it gets super fast but to me it only seems useful if you put some street tires on it and ride on the street then.
Hello. My name is Richard. I am new to rc's, and i need your opinion, if you will. I have a FMS 1974 K 10 square body that i would like to update, if possible. Now it only seems to me that anything from FMS that is up grade able can be used in my truck, provided it is the same scale, right? I am not mechanically inclined by no means, but i am willing, and trying to work on these vehicles. Although it doesn't help that i have familia tremors, ( i shake alot ). My question is, can i replace any electrical parts under the hood? Such as motor, tranny, esc, ect. I just became a subscriber, and i hope i can learn from watching your channel, along with Lyle, from RC Atheletes, and Aaron from RC Sparks Adventures, and Studios. If i may from time to time, ask you questions to help me learn, i would greatly appreiciarely it. Thank you.
Hey Brett, Got a question for you. I was fed up with the stock Spektrum STX2 controller/receiver that came with my Arrma Big Rock Crew Cab 3S BLX . #1 lc racing!
Is it possible for you to do an episode on rear wings and how much they influence on a rc car's handling. I'm thinking not much at all...especially on racetracks because most only seem to have only one or two fast bends and a lot of hairpin turns which rely on mechanical grip. You guys appear to have the most expertise in a huge range of cars. P.S. greetings from Australia.!

@AMain_Hobbies
Жыл бұрын
Yep, even without batteries included, a vehicle can be ready to run; RTR means the vehicle is assembled, programmed and bound to the electronics, includes a painted body, and is ready to be driven with the installation of batteries. What vehicle do you need a battery recommendation for? -Brett

@@AMain_Hobbies Understood. So it means it requires no assembly (wheel body painting). Thanks for the kind reply. I'm still far from knowing exactly which model I want but I'm wondering if there's a general recommendation for batteries e.g. if I have to care about voltage or pin connector type. The 3S BLX cars are great! The driveshafts are a weak point but the cars are powerful, lightweight and can bash!
