The Airbus H160 is probably my favorite helicopter overall, but may be too heavy to land on most superyachts. So if I were using the helicopter occasionally to ferry to/from a superyacht, I'd probably go with the Airbus H145.

People are arguing about specs and stuff while I just casually watch even though I can't afford it

We love the EC 130!

The airbus H-145 fulfills my needs for a twin turbine, an OGE hover of 22,000 ft, a ferry range of 400nm, a fuel economy of 50 to 60 GPH, a landing gear made of skids, and seating for 7. Generally a Hermes interior would always be far more classier than a Mercedes interior, but even the Mercedes interiors are nice and practical. The price and operating expense differences between the H-145 and H-135 are not substantial, and these are the smallest twin turbines from Airbus. The AW109, from Leonardo, is cheaper and has a lower operating cost, but has a landing gear comprising of wheels, so can't easily land on mountain peaks. The skids-based version is still in trails, and the cabin is too cramped for my palate. The twin turbine ones from Bell or United Technologies have poorer specs. As a kid, during the 1970s and early 1980s, I traveled in the Jet Ranger(Bell 206), the Puma (Aerospatiale SA-330), the Mi-8(Mil), and the Alouette III, provided to my parents by the government, but some of these are too large and uneconomical, whereas the others are too cramped and vintage.

Why so inconsistent with the specs, for one aircraft you give nautical miles then km. Got me racing to divide by 1.151 and 1.6 to get a sense of it.

I am glad I engineered most of these helicopters.

When you pronounce the model numbers, just say “EC one thirty” not “EC one hundred and thirty”. It’s a model number, not a physical count of items.

if you don't have a co pilot and the pilot has a heart attack then who is going to fly that helicopter ? everyone on board will be dead. always fly with a co pilot always I would never take a chance in any aircraft period. its never worth any life.
