Before we get started, I just want to say, don't worry about memorizing these commands, just kick back, relax, watch, and try to understand what's happening. Programming is about knowing what's possible, and Googling to find out the syntax or fill in whatever other gaps there are.
These commands are basically my top 10 commands that I use pretty consistently over the years. Obviously there are other commands, but I find myself using these a lot.
Explain that everything in PowerShell is objects
I have this video here where I do some real-worldish things in PowerShell toward the end, so check that out if you feel like it.
In closing, I just want to say, don't feel intimidated by coding. I really brown down why this is in THIS video right here (The truth about coding), so check that out!
If you enjoyed this, please consider subscribing to my channel, I'm doing my best to make it to 10k! I also offer mentoring and have a patreon, so feel free to check those out in the description.

Thanks so much for watching, and we will see you next time!

I've known about PowerShell for years and never used it, except when I was given a script all ready to run. This video has yet again made me want to become more proficient at PowerShell Thanks for this video and all your hard work on it..

Great presentation. Really shows the power and versatility of powershell. I’ve been using powershell for years and you showed me a few things I’ve never yet used. I think many engineers don’t realize just how useful it is. Most never heard of powershell. Too bad...

You finally took my advice and did your powershell videos :) great video! As you can tell I’m starting to learn something here from you lol. Can you do another example videos on powershell for automation daily task projects at the job. Some things that you would think use powershell to automate your tasks more easier then manually doing it. Can you show us how to create an AD/Exchange online new user accounts for new hired. Maybe another videos on how to use powershell to exploit certain things in domain network…

A lot of that is beyond my skill level since I've never worked with Exchange haha, but I can think of a few ideas :). Thank you!

Thanks from the great summery video. I created a script that backs up key c-drive locations to OneDrive (upon login) that cannot be set out of the box. Another is to prompt to connect to VPN, map network drives after login to vpn... Then combined the 2 scripts to run after each other. I'm a super basic PS user who's trying to let so just giving you some ideas on types of daily tasks that users may do. 🙂

Hey Lexi, I don't think they do unfortunately. It's pretty useful but just one of those things you gotta learn on your own most of the time. (or with KZread tutorials, etc :p)
