Brings back memories! Back in 77, saw ad in a paper in Minot ND… For sale 1964 Plymouth Barracuda $50! Can’t believe I got it! No rust, interior immaculate, needs paint. I drove it from Minot to Kalamazoo MI to Portsmouth NH and back! This 6 footer could sleep in the back! Loved that car! V8,push button auto, white exterior, light blue interior.

That was just the first half of the story! My buddy and I would drive around Minot looking for old cars. One day we saw, setting behind a mobile home, a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 2dr hardtop. Yellow with white interior. Again, interior immaculate and just minor surface rust. Took us what seemed like forever to find someone home. Finally! Big ok farmer type guy home! “Does it run?” “ran when he parked it there” “is it for sale “ I guess, I’ll have to ask him” “how much” I imagine what he paid you it” “$80”!!! We went home, took alternator and battery off the Barracuda, went back, installed alternator and battery, started right up!!! Gave him $80 and drove it home!!!!! New tires and plug wires ($100) and drove it like it was new! There’s more details, but you can figure out the rest! NICE CAR!!!
