I will say that if you reach out to Velocity Systems, you can pick and choose pieces from the SCARAB line to kinda make your own. When I did, the sales guy I had been assigned even gave me a discount!

Yes velocity is what I run most. I love the scarab I have an esstac daeodon as well and I always go for that if I want slick. The scarab is an amazing setup. And the people at velocity systems are incredibly helpful and friendly.

15:15 The JPC is named as such because it was designed to be a slicker, more comfortable setup for airborne soldiers who need to have a parachute on their back and a reserve chute on their front

One of the best possible Platecarriers you can buy, or more accurately the best you can build, is a combination of the CRYE AirLite SPC and the AXL Equinox Cummerbund. It provides the phenomenal comfort and quality, lightweight design, and modularity offered by the SPC on top of a cummerbund that gives you a similar rigidity to the AVS or CPC + a tube system attachment while remaining low profile. This comes out to about $300 which puts it at the best price point as well. It's a very very hard setup to beat in any aspect.

@Wayward Airsoft That's fair, shoulder pads are heavily preference based. Thankfully you can replace those on the cheap with something decent.

I really appreciate that you included the cons of products and Not just the pros. It makes it seem more informative and less like you want us to buy everything in your video (not that i have a problem with any evike videos)

15:15 it was a plate carrier made for those in the airforce who were jumping from the planes. Something low profile that wouldn't hinder their jumping abilities, hence "jumpable plate carrier"

The 2 I like from those 10 are crye CPC and mbav. I like to load out my plate carriers. I love pouches and padding/plates. I own 2 throwback plate carriers, the IMTV and the IOTV gen 2. I like and favor load-bearing and more coverage. I'm not too fond of the minimalist-style plate carriers because I like weight and being able to carry everything I would need

These are all amazing! I have one of these, I can't remember the manufacturer. But I always wondered if I had set up mine properly or not. It'd be cool if Evike could put out a video on setting up and adjusting a carrier.

I run a TREX AC1 and I love it. Slick but scalable. My only issue is the shoulder pads but I used Shaw Concepts shoulder pads to make the kit way more comfortable

I can also attest to the Mayflower APC … been running the same one for the last 8+ years. No issues. No tearing, or real damage to it in all that time and it’s seen heavy and rough use. Very comfortable! Lightweight so it’s perfect for day games, but also has lots of room and quick don and doff so it’s treated me well for Milsim too. Beautiful PC, when it goes out I’ll just be getting another one!

Nice to see my teams plate carrier made the number one spot. Solid choice can't go wrong.

The two i use are the Shellback LowVis with WhiskeyTwoFour .308 pouches since it’s a pretty close look to the Crye LV MVAB from RE8. The other one i use is the Crye JPC 2.0 with a Velocity quad 5.56 mag placard. I use them both for airsoft and RS shooting matches.

I’ve been rocking my Phantom for a couple months now. Put it through many games, and I love the thing. Super comfortable stock, and it looks sexy slim. The only gripe that I have with it is that the cumberbunds are starting the fray, and the elastic material is tearing. Should definitely look into upgrading them soon.

Haley Thorax slaps harder than my mom whenever I get any test scores below an 80%. The modularity with the thorax is super cool, and if you own any existing haley strategic products, whether it'd be a chest rig, or flatpack, or whatever, its EVEN BETTER.

I would recommend warrior assault systems (they are a UK 🇬🇧 based company), they have great plate carriers. I personally have their DCS (sorta reminds me of the LBT6094 and/or mayflower - velocity systems APC due to its design) plate carrier in ranger green. Not too expensive but not too cheap the the point it’ll fall apart easily. I’m assuming you live in the USA 🇺🇸🦅, if you do then you could purchase one of their plate carriers from a retailer known as EODGEAR.

My two favorites are the velocity systems and the Thorax. I love the Thorax because it's possible the best out there when it comes to keeping your set up slick and neat. Great for wire management and so much easier if u have to run dual comms. It's the newest out of all there's so with what they have done already show it will grow even more

I remember when I was a kid I used to want the most expensive kits. All I could afford at the time was a condor CPC for like 30 bucks. Now I’m dropping 200 bucks on real stuff like a mayflower APC and banshee SF from an actual SF soldier from Fort Bragg. Amazing how much time flies

You guys should definitely try the Agilite K19! I have one and it’s absolutely amazing! You just need to get used to shouldering your rifle since your rifle tends to sit on the pad. It’s extremely comfortable due to the X shaped straps. Holds your plates up due to a Velcro suspension system on the inside. I run real steel as well as airsoft so this plate carrier definitely fits both roles!

K19 is amazing, light and comfortable, and their mag pouches are just as good. I agree shouldering your rifle could be awkward at first, but you get used to it and I don’t even notice it anymore

The K19 isn't a bad choice, but in my experience it's not worth the price when compared with other PCs on the market. It's pretty comfortable and the breathability is decent but those shoulder buckles are a disaster for shouldering and the cummerbund is probably the worst in the industry. There's also been reports of QC issues, and the material isn't NRR which may be a concern for heavy milsimmers.

@@pakman184 The cummerbund is my experience is the best I’ve had! Haha, it tightens or loosens on the fly. I happen to also love that the buckles are interchangeable if you don’t want them there. I removed mine (I agree that the buckles are pretty weird and I disliked them a lot) and replaced them with low profile slide through things. For the qc problems, I’ve been using my K19 for about a year VERY heavily with real steel plates in it, weighs around 25-30 pounds with the backpack weighed down as well. I’ve never ran into any threading coming undone or anything tearing, it’s been very nice, man. I would say it was definitely worth my money. :) Edit: I also have the latest K19, I have no experience with the second or first versions.

Y'all know you can swap out the QD buckle so its easier to shoulder a rifle. Check the admin pouch....

Ive been using a cheap plate carrier ever since I started airsoft a couple of months ago, can't wait to buy a rig. I don't really like plate carriers

I personally own the spiritus lv119 and it is the best plate carrier I’ve owned so far

The HRT LBAC has a similar system to the CPC and its like $450. I also like the HRT RAC

I use the Crye JPC all year round and I have nothing negative to say about it.

Can’t believe the FCPC v5 wasn’t on the list

imo the CPC should be way higher up on the list but otherwise very solid list

Now you have to try Agilite k-zero or k19 they are awsome (operated with the k19 for 2 years)

Forgot the AVS, best carrier ive put on my body and ive used JPC and FCPC.

Most of these are designed as real world plate carriers, where the cost and quality could be a life saving factor.

I’d rather have a Agilite or warrior assault system then all of these

I got a cheap Amazon plate carrier. Similar to the crye jpc1. I can't see spending this kind of money to "play" army. I doubt a single civilian will ever need a plate carrier for real world use.

You must not be paying attention to the way things are going then. It would also surprise you to know how many contractors and LEO's use airsoft to train on the cheap in the gear they use in their line of work. And I do believe even civilians do not have a right to be ignorant in such matters. Because when push comes to shove, no one is responsible for your safety but you.

I mean, the Ferro Concepts slickster IS sub 200 dollars. Some other ones I might recommend are the Condor Cyclone, the T3 Tomahawk, and Novritsch's ASPC (Despite Novritsch's reputation)
