One wants to cook and the other has a difficult relationship with a friend and love interest, in a underrated gem 7 -No. Sorry. Both have a A-List cast but the comedy is more better in Over the Hedge 6 -Definitely. I like Finding Dory but the other one looks beyond bad 5 -NO!!!!!!!! Those two have nothing in common. Another thing, they’re years apart. I really don’t see how toys and dogs would be compared other than finding their way home 4 -This is a so so 3 -One is a family and has a great sequel but the other one is underrated 2 -I’m sorry but no. Father and son is more focused in Finding Nemo but in SharkTale is a big lie that Oscar uses to be famous, the father and son is one sided. Sorry, Robert De Niro 1 -Same year, similar story, huge cast, it stands out

Kids movies are usually seen during childhood. Most adults lose interest in kids movies as they grow up. So, it doesn't matter if film makers use the same plot over and over. Because when they make films in the past, they create them to cater to the people of that era. When they make a similar movie in the future, they make them to cater towards the kids in the new era. So, if it's the same plot people usually don't know because it's a whole new set of kids.

This is interesting because we have gotten to the point where studios are more connected than they used to be. The way it worked years ago was that some movie would get made and another studio wouldn't know until the release. But then you have these things happen involving creative minds thinking alike. It's a little surprising that it has not sparked a inner conflict within studios.

Never really thought of shark tales as a copycat of anything. I saw the movie as its own thing when I was growing up. As for Ants and a bugs life, they were copycats of each other outright. I grew up watching Ants because my parents had a VHS copy of it, and when I was 8 we got a copy of a bugs life. It was actually kind of fun for me to pick out the similarities and differences between the two movies, and I still find them both enjoyable today.

I disagree with Ratatouille vs Flushed Away, The Croods vs The Good Dinosaur, and Finding Nemo vs Shark Tale. Really the only similarities between them were the animals (or setting) they had. The first two had rats, the second two had cavemen and was set in prehistoric times, and the third two had fish. Those are really the only major similarities. Otherwise the stories are vastly different.
