Jackie Stewart and Francois Cevert were like father and son, everything Jackie knew he was passing it to Francois. Jackie wanted to see Francois succeed so much that Jackie planned to retire in his 100th GP at Watking Glen so that Francois could be Tyrrell's number one driver in 1974. But after Francois was killed in practice at Watkins Glen, Jackie decided to withdraw from the event and retired right away ending his career with 99 Grand Prix starts. Rest In Peace Francois Cevert, another king without crown.

That, and maybe this is an odd comparison, but it is a bit like Rocky VI, it's not so much about the victories, but about still being able. His comeback alone brought me to tears back then. That single point he got was worth a million. Personally i also love when new guys finally get their succes. When Gasley, Perez, Ocon won, and Ricciardo again this year....it gave me the feeling that Max and Lewis may have lost, but the sport itself wins.

Williams could have been in a waaaay better position nowadays if it weren't for Maldonado and Senna losing so many points in 2012. They threw away so many points in Australia (5th place), Malaysia, Bahrain (double DNF), Spain (Schumi crash), Monaco, Valencia (crash), Belgium (jump start), Brazil (double crash)... Finished 8th in constructors but could have easily been 5th in front of Mercedes... This pretty much sealed their faith for the next decade. They lost out on so much money. And in 2013n only 5 points...

For now he joins the infuriatingly long list of french drivers who only scored one win. Beltoise, Cevert, Panis, Alesi, Gasly and now Ocon. Let's see if either Gasly or Ocon can break the curse. Although they would then join an almost equally long list of french drivers with two wins...

Great video, really enjoyed this one. Also we can only imagine what would it be if Kubica didn't have the massive crash in rally during F1 off season. I didn't know for years after that he had a contract lined up with Ferrari the following year. Cheers to all from 🇨🇦

I don't know why nobody not expect Robert's in grid of Alfa Romeo in 2022. 1st he is same talent as Hamilton, Rosberg, Alonso, Kimi etc. + 2nd he had huge petro sponsor PKN Orlen in his pocket. These are the two dependencies that should give it a seat in 2022 ! Hope
