Good evening everyone
In this video I take you through the 10 non clinical careers out there for medical doctors who either don't like clinical work or are just tired of working in dysfunctional health system, tired of doing calls!!!! All of which can take a toll on your mental health. This is also for upcoming doctors who don't wish to do clinical work and have interests outside the hospital.
I got my research online and from people in the various fields. if you happen to have successfully branched into non clinical medicine please let us know how it has been and how you managed to do so. Let us in on pros and cons etc.

    Non clinical work has so many opportunities out there. Recently went into that and I’m enjoying it very much. This is a great video!!!

    How to become a lecturer, like a person that teaches medicine, science or mathematics where do I start?

    If in any other field you have to have done masters or PhD in that field e g maths, science etc. In medicine you have to have finished or graduated in medicine, then worked practically followed by specializing in your field of choice. You then apply for university or college posts/jobs

    Hi Dr., what about occupational health medicine? Isn’t it non-clinical?

    Hi Kefentse. It's clinical. Most work like GPs but the specialty allows them to deal with occupational related conditions. Others advisors for corporate companies.. Some will work for mines. It's very broad 🙌🏾. In public hospitals esp tertiary have their department and deal with e.g. injury on duty patients, paperwork etc.
