stop saying "photo realistic" in regards to fragrances.... it makes no sense. Try saying SCENT realistic......... don't just parrot other KZreadrs...the way you did with Dior 2020..you initially hated it because the herd /fragrance community did. try thinking for yourself....not just repeating after others/mimicking. ;)

@@ginichimaru9020 It smells like someone took a rainforest, threw it all in a wood-chipper (Animals, trees, grass, dirt, plants and everything) and put compressed all the output into a fragrance bottle. It is SERIOUSLY the most HEAVY fragrance you could ever smell. There is nothing like it in existence.

I don't know of anyone nor do I believe anyone would compare the smell of Narciso Rodriquez to wet concrete. It's a real nice and masculine fragrance that doesn't scream "OVER HERE" to everyone but has gotten me many compliments.

Toy boy truly is unique. I wear it in the spring, I do see it as a true down the line unisex. it smells upscale on a man and absolutely beautiful on a woman. it smells to me, like a fresh cut dewy rose, stem and all. 🌹

I brought Toy Boy a couple months ago and I'm loving it. I've been wearing it as an alternative in days where I want to wear a fresh fragrance. It definitely is unisex though I agree the floral leaning may not be for everyone.

I got Gucci guilty absolute as one of my first fragrances years ago and i love it, i wore it all the time when i worked at Macys

I´m in love with Gucci Guilty Absolute and Encre Noire. Top of the Top. Great list.

Ombré Leather is a niche quality to me. It smells like nothing else and it’s even better more easy to wear than Tuscan leather. It smells like Cesar palace in Vegas.

Issey Noir Ambre and Bentley Intense are amazing frags. I would also include Rocha's Moustache EDP in this list another belting Niche smelling cheapie. Although more an Independent than a designer..For a really cheap Vanilla Frag you really can't beat Raghba by Lataffa. Can't believe I only paid £11 for 100ml. My SOTD was Encore Noire and I also have the Sport version. Both amazing for the money. I haven't got A L'Extreme as ive been advised it's surplus as I have the other 2..

Narciso Rodriquez for men blew my mind. I read reviews about it being macabre... Smelling like cement... Etc... I blind bought it... Smelled it... And couldn't believe my nose. The performance is really bad though. So I wear this when I'm indoors on a rainy day reading. It will always have a special place in my heart. I'll always have a bottle or 2.

Missing in action in this list: Bentley for Men Absolute, and Rochas Moustache A way cheaper alternative to Gucci Intense Oud: Proraso Wood and Spice Cologne. Also similar to Nasomatto's Black Afgano, while less than €20 for 100 ml, at least here in Germany.

@@wassaup6180 Because of the scent profile/composition itself I think, this one lasts more than you would expect from a "cologne". Doesn't project strongly, so it won't be overpowering for you or people around you even if overspraying on skin or clothes. I'd suggest double check longevity, sillage, and comments, on Fragrantica and Parfumo.

Toy Boy is absolutely amazing! And the £50 for 100ml + 10ml I paid was outstanding🙏 also I love your use of British and European sayings and terms sometimes, it makes you more relatable especially from this side of the pond!😊

Hey Ash, friend here of gent scents. I have both Encre noire and GG absolute and they both get me compliments. I use the Gucci sparingly cause I only have 50ml

Tom Ford noir Extreme is my go to fall winter special occasion fragrance. Great longevity projection. And lots and lots of compliments. This in Tom Ford black orchid are the only two Tom Ford fragrances that I love. Tom Ford anthracite I’m sorry to my nose smells like ashtray.

Love the Encre Noir line. Haaaaate Gucci Guilty !!!! 🤣.Smells like a wet band aid ! I’ve used 2 bottles of Toy Boy this year , absolutely love it 😍

Narciso Rodriguez for Him smells similar to YSL Tuxedo on my skin. But it’s way more of a beast, especially considering it’s an EDT. Lasts all day. Tuxedo is a lot more subtle. I enjoy both.

Hey yo, you should review Molton Brown's fragrances. There isn't a ton of reviews out there and I want your opinion on them.

I think Spicebomb Extreme is niche quality. I have niche, TF, and it is one of my favorite scents. TF Ombre Leather is another niche quality scent I love.

How about doing a list for the best scents by age. For example teens, then work up to men in their 20's the 30's and 40's and 50's and above.

I have a tin of American crew molding clay (strong hold, medium shine) and it looks silver/glittery. When I wrote a review on it I couldn't describe the smell other than it smelled like wet concrete. Even after I wrote it I couldn't really believe that is what I had to say about the smell. So it's hilarious hearing someone else use that example to describe a smell.

I prefer Mercedes Benz Select Night. That stuff is friggin fire in a bottle. And the bottle is way higher quality than the club black and it comes with a sweet magnetic cap.

Encore Noire is also a lovely scent, Gucci Guilty Absolute I'm still trying to get past this Dettol vibe I get from it. It's even the same colour and I fear the makers are laughing at us saying we sold them Dettol for x amount..lol

Listen, I copped Gucci Intense Oud (Black Afgano is in my top 3 or 5 favorite fragrances) a month ago off of Amazon. IT WAS A WEAK SKIN SCENT OUT OF THE BOTTLE!!! I was broken harted 💔, I was offended 😤🤬 as well & I was confused 🤔🙁😞. I honestly went through a list of emotions, I quickly posted it for sale on Mercari & I have Hates Elixer now because I did not want to buy Black Afgano & find out its watered-down as well. I'm pleased now, sooooo! Buy Hates Elixer if you love this scent profile like me! PS I had Anubis Kiss as well, it was 💧🌊 too!!! 🤷🏽‍♂️ Maybe it needed to be macerated 😶

It's interesting how Gucci Intense Oud always is stated to be very expensive on the grey marked. Here in Europe it isn't expensive. I bought mine (90 ml) for 542 Danish kroner (78.50 USD). Right now it's 96.80 USD, but the price goes up and all the time... How much is it in the US?

Would you mind wearing a floral scent? It smells just like a rose. It is a great scent that lasts like 10 hours. I own it and love wearing it cause it truly lasts all day long. I would definitely sample it first before committing to a full bottle if you feel that way.

Ended up buying it that same day just cause I got 2 compliments walking through the mall by people I didnt even know. But if you are younger i would pass on it cause it's a more mature scent.

Gucci intense oud is for less than 90€ in Europa

The entire Encre noir line is so bad on my skin and so strong and so repulsive to my nose that it became a mega problem for me when I blind bought it and sprayed it on. Couldn’t wash it off after two showers still could smell it

it surprises me that nobody amongst the bigger fragrance reviewers like ash mention the fact that encre noire batches have been reformulated several years back. what you smell now isn't what it used to smell like. i only found out recently that the bottle i own (from around 2018 or 2019) is actually the reformulated version.

@@dk302948 yes, that's what i'm suggesting. On fragrantica (i think), some reviews mentioned that what you get now is a very tame version of what it used to be. The original was much dirtier, pungent and unapologetic.
