I don’t know if you already did this but if you go to the download task and actually do the task, it takes 9 full seconds to complete the task. You can use this method to catch an imposter. if he/she stays there for a longer amount of time or a shorter amount of time, he/she is the imposter.

Correction - at 2:37 Even though it's not visible, if you try to do medbay task when a ghost is already scanning, you would have to wait in the queue.

Myth:When doing the shields task everytime u fix a spot of the shield the shield keeps getting less red on the outside

Myth: If an engineer is in a vent and the impostor comes and vents there, the engineer will be, both or ejected out of the vent or pushed to other vent. It happened to me in a game, and I couldn't replicate it, so if you please
