But Percy Jackson is technically a fantasy series. Not a superhero tale. Books have the right what they want to be. Movies or tv, to me. There is no definitive answer. Experiment, deconstruct, take risks. I cared about the films. It has it's moments. A reason why Alan Moore is critical of superheroes, not Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Narnia, Mistborn, The Witcher, and The Lord of the Rings. The Lord of the Rings redefine and made the fantasy and book genre relevant than ever before.

Its so weird how this Film went from being Cancelled to Saved and then Cancelled all over again for almost 3 dang Months. I really wish they would make up their minds right now or stop trolling around with just like that, because its getting ridiculous.

David Zaslav is a hatchet man. He might as well wear a black cloak and carry a scythe when he shows up on a company's doorstep. Stockholders call him when they want to slash and burn a company to the ground because they don't believe it's viable anymore.

I know my husband was a little pissed that the Gambit movie with Channing Tatum was cancelled. Gambit is his favorite mutant and we wanted to see Gambit due justice.

The moral of the story is... never trust corpos. Coyote got screwed by them twice. In the movie and in real life.

Why do all the Looney tunes movies have to be live/animated hybrid? Why not make an all animated film? The Looney tunes characters are still worth it.

There was only two Disney live action remakes I loved Cinderella and the little mermaid only because they felt genuinely good unlike will smith replaced robin Willams as the genee witch was disrespectful to mr Williams and on top of that the lion king remake was a joke and so was the Pinocchio and jungle book and Peter Pan and Wendy was so bad I turn of the sound half way through my kids thought I was rude but it helped my ears not bleed from the bad dialogue

The problem I, and other people have with these Disney 'live action' remakes, is a) they're not actually live action, mostly, they tend to be mostly CG. b) their stories have already been told. Interestingly, the live action ones I like the most have been the Malificent ones, yes, even the sequel, because they are telling NEW stories. Or at the least, from different perspectives.

I wish the Snow White live action gets cancelled.

Also, I felt no love from the cast for the original movie, when they bashed the original themes. With everything that has happened behind the scenes, it's doomed to fail, and deserves to be a tax write off.

“Faithfull adaptation” for the Percy Jackson show is beyond generous

Unpopular opinion incoming... I actually loved The Marvels and Eternals and hate that they're not having sequels. I thought the plots were really good, especially Eternals! Idk why people say it sucked and had lazy bad writing

The way things are going for animation so far this year is why I prefer to stick to classic animation from the 80s to early 2010s

For clarification to correct some misinformation... ''Marvel Fatigue'' is NOT the reason these recent movies have flopped. Spiderman 3 & Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 were BOTH huge successes in an era of otherwise horrible movies released by Marvel! But if it's not ''Marvel fatigue'' then why you ask? It comes as no surprise that for the past 6-8yrs Hollywood (and particularly Marvel) have taken DECADES long cherished characters & stories and suddenly changed them in ways that not only contradict their previous character development & stories, but also homogenizes them into characters hell-bent on specific social justice issues covering mirroring the writers & director's need to ''lash out''...how in the world can Disney expect ANYONE to respect this (aside from a very specific and angry target audience?) This isn't even about a specific issue -- the same would happen with ANY falsely inserted socio-political issue (regardless of what 'side of the debate' it represents (E.g. The same disaster would happen if Marvel decided to hire a bunch of right-wing extremists who turned every Marvel character into a movie about why it's ''good'' to hate women's rights, or hate environmentalists, or hate immigration, or hate those from the LGBTQ+ community...etc, etc, etc)... yes there would be a ''small segment'' of people who would flock to see this nonsense, and yes they would flock to social media to promote more movies like that, but thankfully the masses (including myself) would condemn Marvel for ''angry bashing of people''... this type of nonsense needs to be kept out of movies....ALL OF IT! Disney needs to be painfully reminded they are an organization of executives, writers, actors, producers & directors...we don't give them our entertainment dollars to promote their attempts at dividing society. I had seen Jonathan Majors in *"Loki".* He makes a great Marvel villain, too. So I was looking forward to "Kang Dynasty" and "Secret Wars" with Majors in the lead as Kang. My guess would be that Marvel will move forward with another actor in that role.

I was really looking forward to "Coyote Vs. Acme"!

Ant-Man should be saved, it didn't do well for the 3 movies but... there can always be a comeback! they did it for Alien, Robocop, and more.

Robocop and Robocop 2 are awesome movies. 3 and the remake are hot garbage. I liked the first two Ant-Man movies personally, even with all the glaringly obvious flaws. As for Alien, the latest movies are kinda meh, as there is tons of books out there with better stories than the ones we have gotten after Alien 4.

Any Man 1 and 2 worked cause they were heist movies. Any man 3 flopped because they changed the format, cut out Michael Peña’s awesome sidekick character (and the fun), and embraced the MESSAGE.

No 3️⃣, 5️⃣, & 7️⃣ Honestly I don't blame them for why they did, their universe is really getting really exhausting to keep up with I mean they get timelines as well as the multiverse and the quantum realm. And to top it all off She-Hulk even exposed in her own cancelled show that none of their world is real and that she can just make the writers change it whenever she wants, and it's like: "WHERE IS ALL THIS GOING?" Maybe when Avengers 6 [AKA Avengers: Secret Wars] soft reboots the overall MCU we can move on from this universe for a new one to take it's place years later after it's release there

Well Technically Coyote Vs Acme Isn't Cancelled but the Fate is Unknown for now

Warner Bros. has been losing my respect ever since they dumped their 2021 movie slate on HBO Max instead of waiting to release them by 2022. Wonder Woman: 1984, The Little Things, Judas and the Black Messiah, Tom and Jerry, Space Jam 2: A New Legacy, and Shazam 2!: Fury of the Gods were meant to succeed in movie theaters. I wish Christopher Nolan was able to convince Warner Bros. to let Universal Pictures distribute these movies instead during this difficult time for them.

It had a lot of good concepts and ideas but no solid execution and totally excluded every other MCU character completely when the threat was Earth's total destruction.

OK Disney has its problems, but Warner Brothers is getting on everybody last nerve with these great shows and movies, cancellations😢😤

I feel that Acme would have been seen as an allusion to Warner Bros itself, so the people rooting for Coyote's release would open a Pandora's Box that Warner would rather keep closed lmao

All these seem very worthy cancellations except Coyote vs Acme. When Discovery took over Warner Brothers it marked the end of creativity. I foresee them selling the studio soon as its owner is now all about quick profits and not entertainment.

Warner Bros Discovery ever since it became that has been a disaster across the board. The indecisions, cancellations of projects, their plan for live service gaming filled with microtransactions, Their advertising and marketing strategy is in shambles. Other than the Hogwarts game it feels like everything they touch is doomed. I have high hopes for Twisters coming later this summer because I loved the original and of course House of the Dragon is guaranteed a success no matter what. It seems to me that the person or persons in charge should not be in charge of absolutely anything. I love the properties that are under ownership to WBD and so far I feel like it is all in the wrong hands. Or in some cases the right hands that has to deal with interreference from the brand making costly and unethical decisions that goes directly against the audience.

To me, fantasy is not just television. Cinema has a place for the genre too. Fantasy books have the right to exist as movies whether people like it or not. It has a right to be made. I care. Books can be done anyway it wants to become. Mistborn has the potential and right to be made as a film. I don't want any "no, buts, why, or how dare they you!" stuff. It has to happen, it needs to happen. I had enough of this nonsense and nitpicking. That was a few years ago! Yet, people are still doing this. This needs to stop! Deal with it. Times are always changing. Earthsea would have better as a film series instead. I am okay if there are deviations and cut out some plot points alike. Too many subplot points can also may story convoluted and confusing too. Keep very little subplots while keeping the main plot intact. That is my idea of doing book adaptations as films and tv shows. Fantasy still has a place for cinema, not just tv. It better have a right to exist in the first place.

I really missed Walter Hamada and Kevin Tsujihara at WB. For Kevin Tsujihara, he truly denied any sort of wrongdoings. He was trying to be honest this whole time. And for Walter Hamada, he worked alongside Zack Snyder too. He also denied any beef against Ray Fisher. There was a misunderstanding between these two men. Walter Hamada is at least producing films after leaving WB. For Kevin Tsujihara, he may find a new workplace for his family and fortune. I rather not be bringing up dark pasts from their lives. This is something I am against doing. Bringing up people's dark pasts is never a good idea to me. No matter what alignment all of us depend on.

The MCEU needs to stop being a bank for hedge funds. Please.

It made a profit, but not an MCU mega-profit. And I'm afraid it's not just the paid reviewers badmouthing it. I'm glad you liked it, though.
