#5 - I have a burning hatred of the way Lea's song just completely ruins the vibe of "Let's Have a Kiki." They go to all the trouble of recreating the beginning of the video so well, they get Shangela, it's all working, and then bam. "Turkey Lurkey Time" was one of those late-60s, Laugh--In, everything is kooky and psychedelic-type songs. It's not lyrically anything, so the contrast of the two songs is jarring. And the way everyone has to gallop around is just cringey.

Were similar writers on the staff for the Glee episode Blurred Lines and the PowerPuff Girls 2016 episode Somewhere Over Swimgset? I only ask because both episodes are about twerking. Also Quinn giving birth to Bohemian Rhapsody was iconic.

Glee certainly is a masterful parody show. All the characters are practically memorable.

The underage girl recovering from an eating disorder was childish for not wanting to go to school in a bikini because an adult male authority figure told her too??? Shue should have been fired for that alone. That was super predatory and should have gotten him investigated if not put on a list

That is why Glee is a classic, it give you high while you're not really do drug 😌

Glee is what happens when no one tells you "No" lmao they just really went for it every single time no one ever said "Do you think this is maybe over the line? Is this a little too ridiculous maybe? Is the sheer magnitude of the fuckery we just filmed going to be so much that it haunts viewers for life?" And because they didn't we get to relive Artie wheeling himself into a pool during a Rihanna number for the aesthetic forever.

Next time you guys do a Glee list, it should be a countdown of the times Mr Schuester should have gone to jail. There were so many of them!

i defend the quinn/finn baby plot, because it was part of the glee madness we love so much, the thing is right about middle season 4 things lost control

I am a high school dance teacher and I found the inappropriate actions of the teacher just part of the fantasy of TV. I also loved the Jesus grilled cheese sandwich episode.

How did I become a Gleek? These many years later, I'm baffled.

Mr Schue trying to seduce Sue was cringy to me, but Marley being suspended from Glee so soon after finding out she had an ED is disgusting

Honestly, Mr. Scheuster's character arch was one of the most disappointing things about the whole show. I was in school studying to be a teacher. while the show had its run, and I hated that they just let his entire character go to waste on these weird, creepy, absolutely pointless and abysmal plot lines. He could have been one of the TV teaching greats like Mr. Feeny. In the end, I thought Beiste should get the best teacher on Glee award. Even Sue ended up having more good teaching moments than Will Scheuster.

I'm ready to admit that this show is my guilty pleasure. And this list is why the word 'guilty' is in there. What were the creators thinking with these?

Fun fact: Jayma Mays (aka Emma) auditioned for Glee with "Touch-A-Touch-A-Touch-A-Touch Me".

The whole 'A Little Less Conversation' number should be on the list.

Glee may have been cringy and inappropriate most of the time but I actually thought the Dinosaur Prom was cool and it made me wish my prom theme had been that cool!

I loved, LOVED Glee when it was airing. However, after the first Mr. Schuester performance, it was so creepy. I ended up forwarding and skipped most of his solo performance or those that he would be the lead for the rest of the series.

For me the most outrageous moment was letting Dianna Agron (Quinn) go after season 3 cause she gave quinn depth as a character. We'll the show was a disaster after season 3, so Ryan Murphy would've regretted.

Me bawling my eyes out when Santana is on screen.... life is unfair.

I realised that I couldn't stand Will after he suspended Marley, a teenager, for refusing to wear a seashell bikini for a school performance. He was way out of line, and grossly insensitive, given that she was recovering from an eating disorder. A teacher doesn't have the authority to force a student into something that makes them visibly uncomfortable, and I don't believe that he ever even apologised afterwards.

My issue always was that she purposefully made/got an outfit that looks like it came straight from a Katy Perry video for California Gurls... She stood out like a sore thumb and didn't show any team spirit. We don't hear about any conflict beforehand, so it seems that she agreed to the bikini and then decided to say "screw all of you". So, in a way, I do think Will has a point...and I don't like agreeing with Will

The run joey run mv (rachel berry) 6. Slaps Santana (rachel berry) 7. Mr schues spanish cultural performance (Mr schue, puck, finn, artie) 8. Silent protest (rachel berry) 9. Ignoring Marley's feeling of wearing a revealing outfit (see #1 above) (the glee students) 10. Sue sylvesters mean moments

These unhinged Glee moments on this list are easily divisive because while some of them aren’t all bad, the rest of the moments that are shockingly bad like the “Blurred Lines” moment are so bad that sometimes you can’t help but laugh out of shock & horror rather than being amused. There’s likely gonna be a 2nd list based on this 1. I hope it happens sooner than later.

I liked "Glee" and thought I'd seen all episodes.....but I didn't recognize any of these! My local station must have preempted them or something.

That episode was in season 4, and would have been recorded when the show was at its peak popularity. It was all PR for guests. Could have also been personal connections to cast/crew members.

These were all great performances, even if they weren’t peoples cup of tea.

It's kind of funny how the show started off as satire and the later seasons became the very thing it was satirising.

I like how many of these entries, *because* of how unhinged they are, are considered classic Glee moments and are some of the fans' favorites. (Not the Schue stuff or WDTFS, obviously. Those are just terrible.)

I'll say it 'til the day i die: Kiki/TurkeyLurkey is absolutely perfect in every single way and it's absolutely iconic.

Marley had the right to refuse to wear a seashell bikini. I hated sam and will for this! They know about Marley's eating disorder and body issues. Also I hated the blurred lines songs and it was the worst performance and number ever!

If we're talking about moments that Mercedes deserved better than, there's an entire episode where she has a crush on Kurt, even though it was obvious to everyone and their mother that he was gay from the first episode.

I would like to know if there are people who consider Mr Schuester a good teacher. He was so... I don't even know how to describe him. And you forgot the time when, after Finn's passing, Kurt gave Santana Finn's jacket and he stole it and then he blamed Puck for doing it.

I think he started out as a good teacher with his heart in the right place, but then the show became about the kids, and his character just completely fell off the bandwagon, getting worse with each season. Once the show started revolving around the kids, his character literally served no purpose. Honestly, it was one of the most disappointing things about the show. Here is this potential to have a truly epic teacher as a role model, and they just turned him into a background character (on his best episodes) and a jerk and a creep (on his worst. Finn actually started following in those footsteps, but then Cory Monteith died, leaving Scheuster to continue on his pointless and terrible teacher journey.

When I was a kid I thought the what does the fox says puppet scene was funny now that I'm a teen I find it creepy.

Oh I loved the let’s have a Kiki and it was so cool at the time, I went to a party where some people knew the choreography to it (like the video).

I know that we all have our tastes, we are all unique in our own way, but I will never understand how glee stayed on the air for so many years. I honestly feel that if I was to see it in its entirety, I must have weed on the side I'm serious I feel that to find the closest thing to logic in this series I must be as high as kite. 🤣😂😂

I don't know if this has been pointed out or not, but the whole dinosaur prom seems like a reference to one of the live-action Flintstones movies. There's a scene in the first movie -- with John Goodman and Rick Moranis -- where REM performs "Love Shack" at a raging party.
