Fairfax Andrew Hoy saddle is just 😍 it’s my favourite saddle that I’ve ever ridden in! If only I could afford one for my own horse.

So interesting that gp saddles are suggested for hacking. I'm in Canada and I've hacked in a western reining saddle, a stellar jump saddle, a childeric jump saddle and a stubben dressage saddle... But I was comfortable and the horse was comfortable so all was well.

I have a berney bro grand prix olympic saddle. Its my favorite saddle

How does K2 do with weight? 🤔 I’m quite interested in this saddle but I’m only looking for light saddles as my horse is only building up muscles I already tried a fairfax saddle, gp but I don’t know if it’s much different for jumping, and it was waaaayyy too heavy

Hi Anna! The K2 has a wooden tree, the fairfax a plastic tree, and you have some brands such as Equipe which some of their range have carbon trees. Carbon trees are super lightweight. Plastic would then be next in line, and wooden trees are typically the heaviest. However it also depends on age. Older saddles tend to weigh more than the newer ones.
