It's a relatively old airsoft gun now. About 7 years ago it was quite the cool kids gun. Now with the real one being used by basically one country (France, which recently replaced with the HK416) doesn't make it the most represented gun in pop culture from videogames to blockbuster movies. The only reason why it was so popular in airsoft I believe was because it was cheap and decent for beginners. While I'd love an airsoft version of a more modern Famas, I don't really expect to see that happening anytime soon. Even France replaced it (for the HK416). Goodnight, sweet prince :D

Gavin Walker Not as dumb as it seems though. The grip allows for a more stable grip but the mag allows for quicker movement. It all depends on the situation.

When first got into airsoft, I remember seeing M4s, G36s, Famas's and MB01s all over the place. I wanted something a bit original and a Sig 552 was my very first gun. Oh man I really loved that one. I didn't have it for very long but it's still somewhere in my heart. What do I use now 7 years later ? A gbbr 416. Damn.

After sighting in at 60 feet, I could easily cover 5 shots with a nickel kzread.infoUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL ! Truly a pleasure to shoot! Scope was easy to adjust for eye relief. I personally like the orange tip, as I shoot my M4 in my yard and I don't want the neighbors thinking it is a real M4. Semi-auto M4's (sometimes called M-forgeries) are perfectly legal where I live, even in my yard. But I'd be crazy to do that. Those are for the rifle range! 🤔

HAHAHAHAHA. I ran that setup sometimes XD. I loved my VFC 416C. Its the only "off the rack" that I had ever owned other than my two EF 1911s. All the rest are custom builds. The 416 is a great plarform and I never had problems with mine. It was bone stock and shot laser beams every time, and never had any feeding issues or break downs. I beat the hell outta that thing and it never missed a step. I miss that gun and totally regret selling it to a buddy of mine. I needed money for a few custom projects and he had always pestered me about snagging that gun from me. I finally caved and totally regret it. I would love to have another one, but ONLY the C model and ONLY the VFC make. I don't like the full size rifle and carbine models, and the other 416s from other brands I've tried were shit. Maybe I'll get lucky and find one cheap. Not about to drop full sticker price on one again....

I have to say, I’m glad to see the Combat Machine M4 on your list. I am one of those players who has kept mine and turned it into a beast over the years.

In Ireland, from my experience sites love the G36c as rental rifles. M4/416 and G&G combat machine types are extremely popular. Ak'scan be popular too especially at nam milsims

I hate the modern loadout M4 platforms. They’re very “Call Of Duty”. Give me a big, dirty solid stocked M-16A2/A3 with iron sights any day. You could never imagine Arnold Schwarzenegger with a modern M4 platform. They have more accessories than a teenage girl.

I'm with you on this one. I'd prefer a M16A1 even, because its "da Vietnam gunn" (well, kinda). I'd take a full length rifle if I played airsoft. I hate these little, ACOG-decorated (plus a flashlight plus a lazurr plus a 'nade launcher plus plus plus...), short-barreled "commando" versions. Give me the real deal, no fuss ironsight. Less is more.

I've owned a Combat Machine for years now, never failed me. Also bought a VFC 416 CQB at one point and absolutely loved it, but it had major gearbox issues within only a few months and I was forced back into another G&G. Probably an outlier, and I wouldn't mind getting another eventually

Hey kids here some advice. Follow these rules and if you plan on playing airsoft for a long time I'll save you 000's of dollars. Step one. Buy a gun that's simple, easy to fix, and otB reliable. I recommend a TM, a RS, an LCT, or an Echo 1 (red star specifically) Next, if you bought the red star, install a weaker spring. This will extend the gearbox life If you bought a TM leave the gearbox bone stock except MAYBE a torque motor. If you bought anything except a RS the only upgrade I'd advise doing is hop-up mods. If you bought a RS do yourself a favor and LEAVE IT STOCK. Now, after you've got 1 gun, buy a backup. I'd recommend keeping them compatible with both batteries and magazines to save your ass some money. Now don't add anything on your gun. The only exception is a light if you play at night or in dark areas. You don't need scopes, rails, or any of that bullshit. Once you start buying all of it you've opens the floodgates to slapping more shit in your gun. Keep doing that and you'll end up like me with a box full of spare parts, grips, lights, lasers, and all kinds of junk. Keep it simple!

Luger is a P08 and then they needed something cheaper and Walther made P38. Both great pistols and in fact Beretta 92 series have almost exactly the same barrel locking mechanism as P38 :)

I'm completely new to airsoft and I got the umarex mp7 aeg just today which is my first airsoft gun, I know it might not be very friendly to newer players but I like it a lot already

I just started with Airsoft and as Sidearm, i use a Desert Eagle! I love many, of these Uncommon Guns!

@@starkiller6330 it depends on the caliber Scar H shoots 7.62 Scar l shoots 5.56 you can tell by the scar h mag is more blocky and the scar L mag has a curve

Scar H is the more epic one screw the Scar L its just a overpriced rifle that has a reciprocating bolt whilst an AR-15 does not and for the price you can get a really nice one at that.

kingsharke14 i have to disagree with that. you get what you pay for with them. its definitely not premium but it's also not crap. my chest rig and hydro pack have lasted far longer than expected. maybe you got unlucky. idk. they are definitely overused though. but because they are so competitively priced.

You have a verry good point about you get what you pay for. There clothing line is not to bad though. I have a summit jacket that I used religiously for almost two years in Minnesota. I used that thing for everything I skied In the thing in Colorado and its held up just fine. You want to know if somethings good for normal use, use it during the winter in Minnesota.

I really like my elite 1911 tac. And since putting on real wood furniture it looks awesome too.

I had a feeling it was gonna be 1911 tac lol i have one myself and have never even gone airsofting, YET

First gun i bought was a SCAR-L and then a G-3, after that i bought an M4...each to their own, i actually prefer the M4 as the SCAR-L feels bulky to me and i never use the folding stock. I was going to buy an L85 a2 but fell out of the hobby but now im getting back into it.

In western Europe, especially in the UK I see a surprisingly high amount of g36c variants. They seem to be fairly cheap and a lot of sites used to use (or still use) them as hired guns.

in Ireland its definitely The G&G Raider or ASG G36C

Playing airsoft. Money: where am I?

I have an ARES L85A3, and I love it. it uses standard M4 mags so I can be different while still being able to borrow someone elses mag if i run out or i can offer someone else one of my mags

I still have my CM16 after 7 years of abuse and it has gone through countless spray paint schemes and attachments. Never has failed me. I also still have my VFC 416 and that thing is built like a rock.

Glocks all over europe. WE G17. ;)

I prefer G18C with stainless slide :) i don't get why ppl hate WE Glock so much. They work if maintained properly. I don't like 1911, it doesn't fit my hand well.

last friday at the local field in north east florida I saw pretty much only AR platforms, I was running one my self, but there were 2 heavilly modded polarstars

One of my favorite things to watch in airsoft is the amount of dudes flagging each other. Taken plenty of hits from friendlies behind me. Never gets old 😁

I run a loadout with at least one gun of each type with two guns at a time: 1. H-416 (HK-416) 2. Berreta M9A3 (Nickel Plating) 3.Famas FELIN (Yes, I still kept mine.) 4. M4 Super 90 (Pellet Shotgun, uses pellet containers) 5. G36C (Various accessories) 6. Ruger MK22 (CO2 Gas Blowback.) 7. M249 8. Intratec Tec-9 9. M16A3 (Automatic, chews through gas, hardly use it) 10. HK MK25 And at #11: MP7A1SD (Suppressor is fixed, only cosmetic, no actual purpose) I have a lot of guns mainly cuz I’m an enthusiast, my friends use them sometimes, The two most common guns I see are: 1. Double Eagle 1911 2. FN FAL/FAL Elite What guns are common in your area?

COmrade, when not using foregrip, use it as downside bayonet or object stopper.

Iv owned the jg s system m4 for years it's nice seeing it in a top 10 vid

When i play...I run either my star dragon or my GG raider for since the beginning. Both have gotten a good break as only just now getting back in the game

I’ve had my Cybergun Famas for almost 10 years it is one of the most reliable AEGs I have ever used the sights are garbage and I will happily use my Ak or JG S System over it but I holds a special place on my gun rack.

When I was a kid we all just shot each other with red riders in the woods wearing jeans and t shirts

I live in michigan and I go to Motor City Airsoft. It’s an indoor field and I see a LOT of Matrix and Cyma M4’s and Aks. Also a lot of Polar star SBR M4 builds.

My starter replica was a amoeba AM-015, really liked the honeybadger and smg type rifles, so i picked it up real cool looking ( except for the many issues it had) And for my secundary a classic glock (17 i think ?).

Over here in the Netherlands there are a tons of m4's all over the community as wel as vsr10's. The squad and me prefer to use ares amoeba s1's and the asg steyr aug. Fore pistols the cybergun 1911 anniversary edition is the big winner in our squad.

Stephan Mast. Fellow Dutchy, would you say that the amount of m4's is not justifiable? Do you think that m4's are bought because they are good airsoft weapons, or because of the movie looks? Did you personally use/own a m4? What's your opinion on the rifle. I have to plead guilty to being an absolute m4 lover, and I was looking to buy a full metal one. Cm002. Should I not get it? What do you recommend?

The Krytac CRB doesn't matter what model it is you can upgrade the hell out of them and it is amazing mainly because Krytac provides everything on there website would definitely prefer getting the gun and definitely get it if your just starting If you are just starting I recommend getting the Krytac Alpha CRB best starter gun actually just good gun in general Because when you want to have a better one and don't wanna have to spend $300 for a new gun you can upgrade the spring and that will increase the fps by at least 50 fps Depending on if your getting a upgraded spring And if you are going to get a spring then definitely get a trident series spring because it is definitely a big bump up

John Bonanno Its the exact same wverywhere dude and there is a reason for each.... Elite Force 1911s are cheap and reliable, and work well in alk conditions. Combat Machines are cheap and reliable, and you will always see tweens and teeny boppers using them because mommy and daddy bought them nice/mean well Christmas presents. You will always see M4 Franken-Builds of some kind because in airsoft the M4 platform is the AR15 of the real steel world. Theyre everywhere, ever company makes a version of it, and they have the most aftermarket support available, more than any other model of gun. Most companies parts are also interchangeable with other companies. They are the easiest to work with and the most readily available. As for the MP7, 9 times outta 10 they are used by KWA fanboys who think there is nothing better. The other class that uses them that is also hand in hand with the prior mentioned most of the time are the COD and CS fanboys who think MP7 is the best and coolest gun ever made. Basically, its simply people who don't know any better. As for me, all of my guns (including my pistols) are custom guns or Franken-Builds. Built a few custom DSGs from the ground up, got a few customized KWAs as beater guns, and some custom built pistols or pistols made by ghost companies no one has ever heard of. Got a few custom built race pistols too just cuz they're cool, and some revolvers (My favorite is the Marushin Mateba M2006). In short, none of my guns are "off the rack" models and people always think I'm crazy for using all kinds of wierd guns, and for not wearing BDUs/ACUs. This is airsoft not GI Joe dress up. "But its Milsim bro!!!" Bahahahaha. No. Just shut the fuck up dude XD.

JakeTheRipper 73 Tell me about it. I just used a revolver and wore my regular clothes when I did airsoft, and I used my pockets to carry all my stuff (cargo pants are awesome). People would always stare at me in their "military uniforms" and ridiculously modded weapons like I was from Mars. Never hindered my performance though, because I usually did just about as good as them.

One gun I barely see is the ump especially in tan as I have been the only one at my local airsoft feild to have one. Love the video hope you post more soon

Nashville uses vfc alot. I even have one but it's the Avalon series mostly given they are incredibly fun to mod. My Avalon has an improved inner barrel and spring. I can switch between a default 350 fps and a dmr range of 400 plus with just a spring change

You should do a top battle rifle builds. These would be typically .308 rifles (no DMRs tho) such as the M14, FN FAL, G3, etc...

And im over here in a full 101st battledress with my weathered G&G m1

Richard Harris The thing shoots amazingly it is laser accurate and has a great firerate, the blowback is loud and can be turned off which is nice, the only real problems I have with it is that it's pretty heavy which makes sense considering the length and size and the fire selector sometimes changes while running around because of how close the modes are but that doesnt happen often but it's a great gun

Over here in Europe, Krytac M4, G&G M4's aswell, and then VSR10, Hi Capas, CZ P09, in milsim Systema PTW

This is startlingly accurate, I started with a Walmart AK ( still have it ) then I got a Cybergun Famas ( still have it ) then finally got a Combat machine ( pretty much my main gun still ). I also decided I needed a SAW so I bought the Mk-46.

My main gun is the G&G TR4-18 (full length HK416). I love it. For now I have only added a front grip and a (real steel) red dot sight and it's pretty good

i love taking guns that literally everyone has and then making sleeper guns out of them for instance i have a g&g combat machine raider that i put over $700 in internals and an elite force 1911 A1 (cuz the tac sucks being polymer, it think theyre metal now tho) with a 5ku blow back housing with piston an 8 ball bucking and a lonex 6.01 barrel. I also have a reals steel RMR on the back

How much you guys shoot it? And all guns break. Barely any aftermarket support for those things. My friend had his limited edition 1911 slide crack in half and elite force wouldn't send him a new one.

When I started Airsoft I started off with a tactical M4 with the standard barrel and high cap mag once I switched to a SEMA AK-47 that became my favorite airsoft gun of all time even over using the MP5 it outclasses the m4s simply because it has perfect range you can use it as a DMR and the ammo capacity is awesome personally I recommend the cyma AK-47

As a field manager in virginia i find that thise who have KWAs from about 5-8 years ago absolutely love their guns. Myself included. Sure they're a "B" to upgrade, but theyre sound guns out of the box. Ive had mine for 7 years and havent had to fix a thing on it.
