I no longer watch this show because of the dangerous things they make the girls do. It became a bit too difficult to watch them go through all that crap just for the show's ratings. The truth is, 95% of the girls who are on that show will never make it as professional models anyway... not because they are not good enough or pretty enough but mostly because it is all about who you know and who wants to know you.

Exactly. I think the problem is that they're models, so mainstream pop culture doesn't really know/care unless they make a big break into Hollywood or music, or start their own fashion lines. The ones we know the most are either ones that the fans really just LOVED (and came back for All Stars, thus staying more relevant), or the ones who actually went into television, or are seen commonly in commercials or music videos (thus: TV). It's hard to get a Top Model supermodel out there that's not Tyra or Naomi, Seal's wife, or even older icons like Twiggy. It's hard. :(

@Atchie Dai yeah, ANTM become a dating/hook-up reality show than modeling competition when guys come along. I wish she did all-male cycle season rather than mixing them up :(

After watching this show from Cycle 1 to Cycle 22, I realize that Tyra made them do A LOT of unnecessary shit and in some ways would sabotage some of them so they could have someone to send home. Thinking about it, they each take almost 100 pics each photoshoot, sometimes I don't think she would choose their best pics especially when you watched them do it and Jay or another creative director would give them positive feedback. This show did produce some successful models tho, some who didn't even get far in their season. All in all. this was a entertaining show but Tyra has quite some imagination !!!!

I began suspecting the show was rigged ever since Janice Dickinson was no longer a prime judge. Cycles 1-3 are the ONLY good cycles where the people I liked actually won. Some of mine that I liked in future episodes kind of won, but after Kahlen didn't win Cycle 4, the show went downhill.

The earlier season shoots seemed realistic enough in that they looked like they might be actually something a model would encounter on the job, but the later seasons seemed like they ran out of ideas and just did whatever for shock value and ratings.

Cycle 2 had really great photoshoots. Especially the first photoshoot in that episode, Garden of Even where the contestants portray different kinds of Eves. And the photoshoot for the top 3 was just insane. Yoanna's photo was timeless.

The Seven Deadly Sins photoshoot is an incredible idea. Personally I love spooky, creepy thematics and it's awesome that I can see the process of the photoshooting. I used to love watching this show as a kid.

The challenge in cycle 7 where the models had to act a various celebrities. That was so good Mel Rose and slaaayed the game.

Where is the mermaid one where it looked like they were underwater? I loved that one!

The 7 deadly sins was my alltime favorite challenge. And my favorite place they went was Japan, when they did the Geisha kimono shoot, the Campbells soup commercial, the Shinjuku motorcycle shoot.... I lived. There was also the Lubriderm shoot where they had to be different animals, the romance novel shoot where the girls nearly peed themselves modelling with Fabio, the Zodiac signs, the homeless shoot when Isis King stole the show, the haute couture shoot in that old Italian villa, the southern hair show with all those hair colors, the krump dance shoot with the clowns, and the black and white scary shoot Tyra photograpped.

I loved this show so much up until season 10. such an iconic show!!

My absolute favorite was Kaelyn's (however you spell it) photoshoot for the 7 deadly sins. I tear up every time I see that episode. It was so good and the emotion that was captured in her pictures was so raw and beautiful. Ahh.

I remember one of my favs photoshoots, I don't remember the exact season but the winner was Danielle, the photoshoot where they had to be on an elephant and look like kind of beautiful ethereal fairy angels, and Danielle was feeling bad cause' she had a stomache in that day and she killed it. Loved the blonde girl too who was on 2nd place, forgot her name!! THEY BOTH KILLED THAT PHOTOSHOOT AND SEASON

They missed the Adam and Eve shoot from cycle 2. I think Mercedes and April had the best photo. Mercedes was the African queen eve and April was the Chinese empress. The girls bodies were painted and every girl had an Adam. it was really nice. I thought that one should have been included.

It's not that she didn't want to pose in a bowl of salad, she was uncomfortable to be posing in lingerie. She stated specifically that showing herself in lingere is only for her husband, not for modeling. This also occured in the first episode, when she didn't want to wear lacy bottoms with her angel aesthetic because she deemed it underwear.

Crime Scene Victims from Cycle 8 should be on here. That's one of the most creative shoots.

My favorite is Zodiac signs from cycle 4.

Seasons 3,4, and 6 had some of the best photoshoots in my opinion.

Never liked this show but remember Eva posing with that tarantula(my biggest fear) and being scared shitless and still posed beautifully.

I know this is probably a unpopular opinion but I think personally the show was really good to any extent until Nigel & the Jays were gone , I feel the British cycle/All Star cycle was the last actual good cycle which ever one came last

I enjoyed the seven deadly sins one because of what Kaitlin had to overcome after just losing someone close to her just before props to her for going ahead with it

The one where they had to slice open their knees and run backwards along the top of a moving airplane, wearing nothing but sombreros. That was pretty fucking cool.

The underwater shoots in the tank from season 1 was my favorite. I loved April In that challenge

my personal favorite are season 7 & 8, I love CariDee though I think at the time Melrose's runway walk was the best in ANTM history.. I love Natasha too although she didn't win. I remember she being this bubbly and the other girls including Jaslene were despise her for no apparent reason. I guess they weren't mature enough back then :D

I watched many seasons, but the Seven Deadly Sins and the one where they're victims from murders were my favorites.

It's amazing because I watched the show from the first season in spring 2003, until maybe 2007 or 2008, which are a lot of seasons. Especially when you consider that after '03, in '04 they went up to two Seasons a year, which I thought at the time was f****** awesome. But then again I was only 21. Unfortunately for me, the older I got, the less original that show became, and then too original it tried to be. But it was a very good idea for an original show, and I had a great time watching it when I did.

Yeah, that irritates me even more than when people say a certain snake is "poisonous" or "non-poisonous" (there's no such thing as a poisonous snake, folks. They're venomous or non-venomous). Some kinds of amphibians are slimy, but I don't think there are any slimy reptiles. Snakes are reptiles. Amphibians such as frogs, salamanders and so on are not reptiles. People tend to conflate the two and assume that both amphibians and reptiles are scaly and slimy. It's irksome. Especially in a video with a large audience like this one.

They missed the best ones, the murder victims, the circus and the boat shoot.

The model stereotype shoot from cycle 7 is so iconic. And so is the angel shoot from cycle 15.

My personal favorite shoot is a tie between the paint beauty shoot from cycle 10, and the natural disasters shoot from cycle 11. But the shoots don't compare to Australia's Next Top Model's. They're just so much more, I don't know, professional (?) in nature.

indeed that antm is a very risky challenge, they engage with some venomous nor poisonous animals as a part of their photo shoot and yet they still deliver the best, they still give an exceeding performance towards the standard of the judges

one of my favorite seasons was with Joseline? all the photoshoots looked fun especially the ice cream one

I really like the Mongol Warriors shoot. It's like a real fashion editorial.

The roller coaster, fear of height , straitjacket and the octopus moments was some funny moments in my opinion.

I loved the marathons!!!!

I think the models who are willing to jump in without complaining or crying a lot may be the ones who make it to the end-given that their work is good of course. I think that's what distinguishes them even when their pics aren't that great.

What about that photoshoot from cycle 2 that Yoanna wears a race helmet and red lipstick? To me that's the most iconic beauty shot in ANTM's history.

Mike Rosenthal is my favorite photographer from ANTM, hands down. He did the most interesting photoshoots.

In the episode where Jennifer was eliminated in season 13, they specifically picked her worst photo, and even Jennifer questioned why they picked that photo. Now I understand, they wanted to make sure Nicole and Laura made it to the final 2

Season 10's Covergirl commercial was the most memorable to me! The whole bunch of models were fabulously funny 😁😂

I also love the photo shoot from Cycle 11 where they were in the water and had to model with their eyes!!
