I was really young so I didn't see alot of B.Walters interviews. My favorite was when she interviewed the Kar-Jenners..!! Walter literally slayed that interview.
Damn, this was probably the most relevant and meaningful videos ever. Barbara Walters. If we had the same journalism today that existed then, we wouldn't be as divided as we are. All of those honorable mentions deserved to be in her top interviews. And to end with Monica Lewinski. RIP, the last honest journalist ever

She was just as slanted in her prime as journalists are today, but in 2012 Obama made it legal to propagandize Americans, which is why everything seems so much worse than it had before. Americans aren't used to it like most other countries are. Having lots of journalistic outlets also helps for information but causes more division because people hear more than one opinion and thus have less intellectual common ground. Also having multi-culturalism instead of unity makes it worse because people don't even have a common foundation anymore to start from, so even people who WANT to talk have to parse out worldview for a couple hours before any real talking can start. America just doomed. Good luck with that
Christopher reeve was my favorite of Barbara Walters interviews. She was truly iconic. Thank you for sharing this list!
Rest in peace, Barbara, you were quite a legendary lady, and you'll be forever missed. 😇💞

I remember watching Barbara Walters when I was little. Seeing her interviews on tv with my mom aside, and previously together, me and my mom watched a 20/20 special of her career and personal life on Sunday, when I heard that Walters died, I was sad but at least her name was and will continue to be never forgotten. She’s a very talented woman in journalism and we’ll all miss her and remember her. ❤❤❤📺
The interviews she did with Patrick Swazye should have been on the list R.I.P Barbara Walters.

I have a lot of sympathy for Monica Lewinsky. We all went through the young and dumb phase. We all have a chapter or two in our life book we'd rather not have read aloud. Monica Lewinsky's wasn't just read aloud it was broadcast world wide...

They were raped & humiliatingly abused. When you get raped & constantly abuse by your parents, not strangers, then you can comment. We have abuse survivors who eventually left the abusive situation - but they have become eternal shells of themselves. Hurting everyone but the persons who hurt them and being emotionally crippled. No one is clapping for that act. But we thank God they were taken out of life, cos that means that no other children were caught up in their evil. P.S Your comments make you sound like actual child molesters.
Excellent video, MsMojo! Well done!

Barbara is class all the way!!!!My favorite she did was Goldie Hawn ...the best Goldie interview .Barbara was a warm mink coat that was so classy and comforting.. she is pure LEGEND
I swear no Journalists can never match B. Walters status. I literally can't think of 1..!! I personally don't know her but she seemed so chill, straightforward, nice & force to reckoned with. I literally will never forget when she interviewed the Kar-Jenners. She really made me laugh. She said " Ya'll can't act, sing or dance, you have no talent so what are gonna do if the shows over ?? " I was like go B. Walters..!! That was a excellent question. RIP You wonderful Icon..🕊🕊🕊🙏🙏
and all of those moments are gone now, like tear drops in the rain; let's face that anything of this will mean the same for us than for her; all respect for her and her work
She was the best ,rest in peace !
Very very great epic list I like it a lot very very great job mis mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever 💗🌹
Can't believe she was in her 90s
I like many folks in this comments section have watched Barbara Walters my whole life and she was a role model for all women in this country no matter who they were or where they came from. My #1 favorite interview that Walters did was in 2006 with the widow of Steve Irwin, Terri, at Australia Zoo a few weeks after Steve had passed. Walters was very sensitive and empathetic to Terri and also showed kindness with compassion not only to Terri, but to Steve's father Robert when she had talked with him too at Australia Zoo. May Barbara Walters along with all the folks that she interviewed who have since passed on since their time together all rest in eternal peace.
the interview she did with courtney love was excellent also.
she ask the hardest questions sometimes offensive but the way she deliver her questions is very respectful and polite.........
She was my go to when I raised my daughter. I also had two sons and a lot of people gave me a hard time about the fact that I spent a lot of time telling my daughter she could do anything and I did it every single minute of every single day of her life until she went to college. My sons did fine that's because they already had their way cut out for them as soon as they were born. Now where do I get this feeling from? My father and grandfather had a business a construction business that went back several generations. After my grandfather died my dad tried to get my brothers to join and take the helm. With 3 boys none of them wanted to. He sold the company He Never Once Asked Me. I got married I got abused but Barbara Walters would not let me make that excuse. In the end I became the most coveted AutoCAD manager and designer in the construction industry in Houston Texas. Self taught. And my daughter I will not tell you her name because she is entitled to privacy but she broke through the glass ceiling of one of the top 3 companies in the world and she is making a difference everyday in all of our lives. Thank you Barbara
I hope the interview where she insults abuse victim Corey Feldman is on here. Shows what a 'sweet' woman she truly was 🙄.

Barbara Walters was great. She did not "hammer him" as you say. She had such GRACE and intelligence. She was always non-judgmental and genuinely interested so people shared with her what they would not share with others.
Her Mariah Carey interviews were incredible as well, particularly the one after her divorce from Mottolla.
wow i am finally understanding journalism

No way was she classy. She was a bully who had no intentions of the truth....just a paycheck. Her interview with Corey Feldman was disgusting....she didn't want to know there is pedophiles in Hollywood. Probably too worried it was a friend of hers.
I even remember her interviewing Glenn Medeiros! RIP Baba Wawa!

6:41 - Mental health issues? I doubt Givens truly believed that. She voiced that POV only because they were being interviewed. Impatience isn't a mental health issue. Anger isn't a mental health issue. It's a control issue.
One of the last true journalists. RIP.
Simply few words one of tehe best, not only for English speaking communties, but also fo other languages spoken around the world.
Fearless amazing lady. Women like this deserve titles like Dame.
Where are we able to watch the old interview I’m curious about the Cuba
1977 was a big/ good year!! For her!!! Amazing!!!
I love the Call me Kate interview with Katharine Hepburn and I'm especially happy the Kardashians didn't make the list. While it's funny how Barbara tells them they have no talent, I feel like we should not give them more relevance lol
She was a trailblazer…she interviewed some legends and asked interesting and difficult questions, but she maintained compose and of course wonderful.
My favorite was the Lucille Ball interview. Lucy told it all and didn't hold back.
Anwar Sadat. I was so young but understood the complexity of what Ms. Walters was asking and they both were dealing with at the time. Rest in peace to both of them.
I watched an interview with Courtney Love after Kurt Cobain died. It was pretty harsh but brilliant. Barbara said that was the most divesting interview she has ever done.
Do the interview where she says Corey Feldman was harming Hollywood talking about his sexual abuse.
I love Dolly ❤️ RIP Barbara Walters. Thought Barbara Walters was extremely rude!!

😢😢😢😢😢 rip ms b walters
She interviewed Michael Jackson. At times to me at least, she was very kind to him but not as rude as some others (like Oprah) have been. I respect her for not letting her personal views shade her journalisttic career and interviewing those people who were "controversial" because someone had to do it. She wasn't my favorite journalist but she wasn't the worst. She had a long rewarding life and i hope she's resting peacefully now.

But she sounded kind and like talking to a child who asked for to much when Michael Jackson just wanted to be more respected than getting headlines where he was called a horrendous ''nickname'' that was also racistical, and about how they made up false stories... and I mean till this day!! With all the thousands of wonderful pictures of his often completely adoreble handsome beaty to be found all over the internet ...the press chose to show bad pictures of him and talk about how he destroyed his looks... and she ask that question as if it is the medias JOB to not be kind??? But not ALL celebrities are treated that way, explain that then!!

Dolly is so sweet
I knew Monica Lewinsky was number 1 that scandal was the craziest in the 90s
To me, it was her interview with priscilla presley.
👌😍🥰💗
Barbara Walters interview with Mr and Mrs smithson
James Bond interview sir Sean Connery
With Jane Fonda in Charlie Rose show, one hour of magnificent journalism she was cover Charlie when he was sick in Paris. And Funeral of Diane 1997, for Chris Reeve interview she won a Peabody Prize. She was genius and so tough. Good for her!
I wish I could buy the lipstick Monica is wearing. I think it's called ...BARE? I bought one after the interview, but can't remember the brand name! Rest in peace Miz Walter's
Another ABC journalist Lisa Howard interviewed Fidel Castro before Barbara, I just found out.
The best is definitely Katherine Hepburn
