Personally I love copperajah cause it’s an absolute tank and flapple cause it’s cute and hits like a truck, inteleon was my first starter on shield and it’s great, I love all the fossils as well, such ingenuity and it’s something different

I think it's a brilliant idea. Applin is based on an actual apple orchard in the UK and based on a legend with a dragon. Also the dragon term is Wyrm, as in 'worm.'

Yeah, I don't hate Pokemon. I just hate certain Pokemon like Winona's Altaria. I like the other Altarias though, just not Winona's.

I love Sinistea and Polteageist, they're cute and I was happy to get an authentic Sinistea quite easily.

Arctozolt has a derpy waddle when camping, and it made me adore it so much. I also love Dracovish after camping, because it will charge at me affectionately - I'm just reminded of a great dane that thinks it's a lap dog, and that makes Dracovish adorable.

Inteleon is my child and I do not appreciate people hating it

All three of them did. Grookey starts off innocent enough, but then evolves into Thackey, a pokemon prone to getting too excited in a fight and beating their opponents within an inch of their lives, finally, it becomes Rillaboom, who has a much cooler head than it's pre-evolved form and is regarded as an upstanding pillar of community. Scorbunny is a sweet, energetic kid who grows into an angsty, serious teen, Raboot. Then it's personality change back into sweet and energetic as Cinderace is credence to a quote from C.S. Lewis. To paraphrase, _"When I became an adult, I set aside childish things, such as the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."_

Pleasantly surprised to see that Coalossal isn't here when most opinions I've seen about it boil down to "lame generic golem, should've been a train". I also just now realized the irony of people actively wishing for an inanimate object Pokémon.

I don't understand those people. It is uncreative to design a lively looking inanimated object but somehow the 69th cat/dog Pokemon is very creative. Tbh those people should shut up. That said, I'm definitly the type who wishes for more inanimate objects.

Number 10: ok. Number 9: poor thing. Number 8: literally my favourite. Pokemon this gen, love it. Number 7: ? Number 6: fine. Number 5: only starter 3rd I don't care about. Number 4: I love it. Number 3: Not sure. Number 2: ok. Number 1: Forgot that was even a things.

You know, when I first saw the Gen 8 Pokémon, I was confused by a bunch of them. I didn’t really hate them, I just didn’t understand them. That is, until I watched Lockstin & Gnoggin. He does a really good job of explaining the inspirations behind the designs of these weird Gen 8 Pokémon, and thanks to him I have a lot of respect for them, and gamefreak for putting this much effort into designing the new Pokémon.

Yeah he does a very good job in detailing the history behind the designs and everything. But he also makes silly videos sometimes like, “Why does Pokémon has so much Rule 34” here he just goes into detail on why do people lewd or Sexualize Pokémon. But I really like his content

I think the problem everyone had with Inteleon wasn't that it was skinny. It was the head shape. They could've kept Sobble and Drizzile's more rounded head, but they didn't!

Copperajah is my favourite pokemon from gen 8.. And I must say, the only thing I hate about this gen Why is graploct not water fighting Why is sirfetched not grass fighting Why is calyrex physcic grass and not ice physic The pokemon types dont match their looks it just throws you off

I initially l didn’t like any of the final evolutions for the starters I choose sobble because it was the least bad

Arctozolt is my favorite fossil out of all of them

Seeing Corsola here and not seeing Chewtle on this list personally hurts me.

For me Impadimp line Galarian Meowth and perserker (seriously. Stop chasing me!!!) Gredeant and it's pre-evolution Galarian darmantan I think that's it I'm alright with most inanimate object Pokemon. Also I think applin is the tail and the apple isn't really it's body. It's just just the food it lives in. Also, how could you hate polteaghiest? It's soooo cute. And I was ok with intellon the first time I saw it, even though I was a scorbunny fan.

Calyrex should be one of the least hated since pokeminers found out it can merge with regilieki and regidrago to make 2 alternative forms

Honestly I was disappointed for #8. A mono-steel type elephant Pokémon just feels disingenuous. We have a mono ground type elephant Pokémon too but somehow it just feels like elephants just don’t get love in Pokémon.

I find it weird people hate Copperaja! I love the design, I like elephants too, also the name is based off copper and maharaja which I think is pretty cool

I dont agree with entery 4-10 those are the pokemon i love the most in the galar region and i can agree that galar has many forgettable pokemon but my top 10 leased fav from galar would be 1. I don't understand why people want just bad-ass, tough, monster-looking or cute-as-a-kitten Pokemon designs? I liked Calyrex's design as soon as I saw it, it's such a different design for a legendary Pokemon. The only Pokemon I MAY dislike is Greedent, but only when it falls off the berry trees because it's annoying. I personally feel these are very unique designs which have their own lores or back stories. I can understand that not all people like all Pokemon designs, but just because they don't look like the Godzilla or the Cthulhu, doesn't mean they deserve this over-criticism? May be I am just biased as SwSh is the first official Pokemon game I ever played, but I have been following the series closely for many years. And I do feel Gen 8 has some pretty special designs. You don't need to look like a monster to have monster-like strength. Then again, may be that's just me.

Out of the four monstuosities of fossils I hate arktovish for having its mouth looking up. I still like them for the idea behind them.

I never understood why (regular) copperajah gets hated on. I think it has a fun design and I like the Indian elephant theme to it. Also, Inteleon is still bad imo.

I like Eiscue, but I feel like Eiscue is a missed opportunity that could have had a changeable head like Furfrou. There'd be an ice artist that would sculpt him a little for you.

Applin and Flapple should have been Bug/Dragon instead of grass. It’s Pokedex entry even says that it burrows into an apple AFTER it hatches therefore the apple is NOT an actual part of its anatomy. It is a worm (wyrm) that inhabits an apple for protection/nutrition so it should be a bug type

I really hope Calarex get redesign that huge bullseye on his head is really an eyesore James turner why ;~;

I would love the fossil Pokémon if you could at least also combine them correctly. I think they missed a great opportunity here to basically give you 4 halves and you can do whatever you want with them.

I don't get the flapple hate. It's not even an object like garbodor or klefki, vegetables are plants, and plants are alive! I don't see vileplume get hate even though it's based on a flower.

I don't hate these pokemon but I hate how extremely common pokemon like wooloo and Meowth and electrike on route 4 when trying to get milcery or cutiefly.

Do people really not understand that the fossils designs weren't created as a joke? In British history when fossils were first discovered the archaeologists found differing fossils and put them together to try and make when they thought it looked liked, since they had never seen it before.

When I think of a beautiful and life bringing deer Pokémon, I think of Xerneas, not a pin cushion with legs

When I first saw Calyrex I thought it was quadrupedal at first but then I noticed the lack of back legs. I poked *really* hard to see if the back legs were just obscured but then I learned it didn’t have back legs and I just hated it. It’s what a deer would look like if you removed its body and gave it tiny arms. When looking it up while typing this comment I saw fanart of Calyrex as a deer and I loved the design of it! But the one we have just looks... wrong. I mean it’s got these long legs with a small body and small arms attached with a deer head and a giant thing on top of it’s head that is way out of proportion with its body. It just weirds me out...

As someone who normally hates the idea of using a legendary Pokemon on my team, I'm extremely excited to use Calyrex on my squad when the Crown Tundra comes out. When it comes to Galar Pokemon I'm personally not a fan of though... I guess Urshifu is probably my least favorite for the time being. It'll probably grow on me though. And if we're counting Gigantamax forms, I REALLY don't like G-Max Copperajah. I adore the non G-Max version though.

Trust me, Jethrotex, you will bow down to Calyrex one day. And Eiscue, Greedent, Applin, Prehistoric Pokémon, Polteageist, Zarude, Intelleon, Galarian Corsola, and Copperajah. But mainly Calyrex, because king of Galar and all.

I love Eiscue and proudly have one on my team

My biggest disappointment with polteageist was that it can't learn scald. Like what!? Such a letdown.
