Genuinely one of the best war robots videos I’ve seen in a while, brings back a bit of nostalgia. I did find it funny when I was watching it that every map listed had the names rotated. None of them had the matching name. But I wholeheartedly agree with the 8.8 update being one of the better ones.

The first realease of built in energy shields should be included. Remember when everyone crowdes the nearest fujin or carnage?

I had a flashback where I was absolutely CRAVING for fujin, and back in my day, thunder is the go to weapon.

Can’t believe I’ve been playing WR for 10 years. I still have the first generation robots.

My favourite update is 3.8 I had a lot of fun playing skirmish modes and playing with a friend at school. The robots still weren’t broken enough during these times to completely break the game. Started playing WR in 2.4 late 2016

What if workshop 2.0 was the same till this day

I remember the fury going in, I was one of the first people to get it after grinding and putting 3 tempests on it that I got from grinding and with that setup I never lost, most nostalgic setup for me

The fact that i played through all of this is insane with currently having 29k victories and 91k legendary points and still going strong

i remember griffin defenately changed the scene and is still used as best starter robot even if u p2w

F2P was so much easier back then. Also because there was way less of a power difference since all the boosts like drones, motherships, broken modules and other stuff didn’t exist. You could just use the bot itself and compete. I see you also won some Dgems from find the rocket monkey 😏

Best update are the introduction of TITANS and DRONES and the negative side is the most WORST UPDATE were IMPLEMENTATION OF NERF SYSTEM AND THE RELEASE OF ULTIMATE EDITION ITEMS

I know this would, for some reason, be a VERY unpopular opinion, but my favorite update was 7.0 or 10.0, even though I've been in war robots since 2.0.

Now I miss my rhino back then it was a beast 😭😭

I have to say, war robots is the best its been in a while. The only glaring issue is the tesla weapons, and the rook and luchador being to mobile for their level of tankiness. But, if you are not in champions league, you never see any electric weapons, and rarely see a maxed rook or luch.

Honestly, there has been many updates that influence the game now like the workshop and abilities but I believe that the most influential and game changing update was the titan update as it changes how people played, as you had to play more carefully and it is also applies today. also, I remember when the ao ming was out it was almost impossible to kill as it could just fly far in the carrier map. That update is just so broken, it would make every other update look bad in comparison...

How could you not mention War Robots Remastered, or The Drone update? Both of those Updates were way more influential than the Halloween Event in 2020

Does anyone remember the King of the Hill game mode?

Imo the Best Update was the Titan one as it added new big bots (that yes were more powerful than regular ones, but if you played your cards right you could still beat them with regular bots as well - which nowadays is next to impossible) of which there were not too many, but all 3 (Kid, Arthur, AO Ming) offered different playstyles for different players and (although it took quite long) anyone could obtain all of these Titans (which isn't the case anymore today as they are hidden behind paywalls and gambling). The workshop rework however was also a very important update that allowed players to craft their dream hangars, but sadly due to Pixonic's greed the workshop is not as good as it used to be (new content is only available for crafting months after release and after one or even multiple nervs, because it was initially introduced in a way to OP state). #WRBESTUPDATE HJ0VOE / Android

8P6U7X IOS. Update 5.6 was definitely my favorite update because titans would change the course of battle entirely. Until someone else got theirs up this just made the game all out aggressive fighting. Which is my favorite type of gameplay it’s just so fun going on an all out rampage and also when you got your titan out first the kill streak would just go crazy. Also I used to use the titan weapons to snipe people out of nowhere which was very fun. #WRBESTUPDATE

JT0FR5 / Android #WRBESTUPDATE 5.6 was the best update for me as it was when Titans came into the game changing the dynamic of battles entirely. I can remember wanting the Cuirassier/ Gendarme Ao Ming so badly! I've been playing since the very beginning in 2014 so this brought back a lot of fond memories! 10 years in and I'm still as addicted as I was after that very first game! Lol. This was a very well put together video and it was fun to stroll down memory lane!! Rose tinted spectacles and all that. Lol.

It is definitely harder to compete with weaker equipment! In update 4.5 I was running a level 1 ares with taran and shredder, smoking everyone. Great update for sure!
