I pulled Lost Jittee at the prerelease. Sold it to another player that day.

Wow, Lost Jitte is a wild card for my Ezuri counters deck. It gives counters to itself, gives counters to equipped creature and untaps any lands for only 2 mana!

The problem here, assuming Commander, is that Ezuri doesn't really care about things giving themselves counters. Don't get me wrong Lost Jitte is a good value engine, absolutely worth including, but nothing about it is really specific to Ezuri. Just more steroids to complement what Ezuri is handing out.

@@ABIalgia Other treatments with different set symbols, different collector numbers, a spreadsheet that you have to reference to find out which "set" to even get them in, etc. These are no longer the same set.

I'm fairly surprised about the price of Lotus Ring and Sword of W&P Both of those cards are pretty bad imo.

@@robertk1834it’s really not. Equipment is a very popular theme, this being colourless fits into all of them. Also the amount of cards that say ‘don’t pay for the equip cost’ is staggering.

I love your content but that has to be the most pointless exercise as none of prerelease prices mean anything other than potential hype around cards, I bet some of these cards will be tumbling down hard, especially planeswalkers when the set release

So we now just have a Bonus sheet full of wanted cards, very rare, very expensive… I don’t know about that…

The wanted cards are just another art variant that they gave to a handful (11) of key characters’ cards. If you mean the big score stuff…. Initially “The big score” was supposed to be a tiny supplemental set like “March of the Machine: Aftermath” was, if you remember that? Well that set flopped hard due to the set being tiny, undraftable, the packs containing so few cards but still set at regular pricing, and even on arena it wasn’t received well due to the set being primarily rares and mythics…soooo 😮‍💨 they decided that doing another set like that was not a good idea and instead jammed it all into Outlaws of Thunder Junction as a “bonus”. Still a ton of rares and mythics to eat up wildcards but at least we won’t have ANOTHER spoiler season right after this set releases and won’t be stuck buying shitty small packs just to find these cards. It seems like A LOT because OTJ also had another “archive bundle” dropping with the set similar to “mystical archives”, “enchanting tales”, and whatever the artifact blueprint was called…each having a theme: Mystical Arch. was instants and sorceries, Enchanted Tales was enchantments, the Blueprints were all artifact and while this bundles theme isn’t immediately apparent, “breaking news” as it’s called has a theme that every card ‘commits a crime’. All that combined with each part of the “full set” having its own unique art variants as well as the standard varieties of variants makes for an overwhelmingly large and confusing collection of cards but once you know what each part is, it becomes less so. OTJ - Main set: regular, borderless, extended art and showcase (wanted posters) *Set symbol is a cowboy hat BIG - All the cards that were originally intended to be a standalone small set: regular, full art, and a vault frame style. *Set symbol is a Vault OTP - The archive bundle of reprints, all of which commit crimes. They look like newspaper headlines and some also have an alt art that looks like something from a graphic novel. The newspaper is called “prosperity post” which is why they used “OTP” 🙄not confusing 🫤 *Set symbol is a Jail Cell SPG - special guest cards; an ongoing small collection of reprints unique to the set they are in with new art treatments, roughly 10 new ones each set. Set symbol is a star ⭐️ Plus whatever commander garbage they have and any promo art variants. 😊

BIG is really really bad and I hope they never do it again. 30 new to standard cards that are all rarer than normal mythics. We keep seeing the playables spike atrociously
