Le GIGN ne fait pas partie intégrante du COS mais fait partie de son "premier cercle d'intervenants" via ses différentes forces. L'emploi diffère mais c'est bien une force spéciale.

Not everybody knows about the british gurkhas but yeah there one of the most feared army forces in the world easy top 3. There not just an army there like people they trained in prison camps for years then handed them guns and taught them how to shoot better than 99.9% aswell as close quarter combat and endurance gorilla tactics and so on there badass.

I think Spetsnaz are well trained but what’s happening to them is they’re being used in an infantry environment. Because I’ve been hearing that a lot of the operators like SEALs have been doing poorly as well. But that’s because they don’t train in standard infantry fashion. I’ve been hearing US and UK Marines have been doing well.

@@azurman3 GIGN is part of the gendmarie which is basically military but they have law enforcement duties. So they are military, but do policing duties. Their duties are similar to swat but more elite than your average swat unit. But kind of different than special forces.

@@dkwsu16 SWAT units have nothing to do with GIGN, the training level is much much higher in GIGN, and interventions are more difficult on average with very tense situations (like in Marginane) or deployment abroad. GIGN is part of the first circle of respondents of the COS (equivalent to SOCOM), and work pretty often with special forces. GIGN was thus deployed several times in external operations: in Afghanistan, the Gulf of Aden, Libya, etc.

Not everybody knows about the british gurkhas but yeah there one of the most feared army forces in the world easy top 3. There not just an army there like people they trained in prison camps for years then handed them guns and taught them how to shoot better than 99.9% aswell as close quarter combat and endurance gorilla tactics and so on there badass.

Army rangers isnt special force, they are elite light infantry class unit.
Since the founding of the Danish Frogmen Corps in 1957, only 311 people have successfully passed the test to become a frogman. Dont know how they arent on this list.

I think Spetsnaz are well trained but what’s happening to them is they’re being used in an infantry environment. Because I’ve been hearing that a lot of the operators like SEALs have been doing poorly as well. But that’s because they don’t train in standard infantry fashion. I’ve been hearing US and UK Marines have been doing well.

Green Berets and Seals (Along with majority of SOCOM/MARSOC) are Tier 2 Delta and Devgru are Tier 1 There’s no true way of knowing who is more elite as all of their operations are heavily classified.

@@azurman3 GIGN is part of the gendmarie which is basically military but they have law enforcement duties. So they are military, but do policing duties. Their duties are similar to swat but more elite than your average swat unit. But kind of different than special forces.

@@dkwsu16 SWAT units have nothing to do with GIGN, the training level is much much higher in GIGN, and interventions are more difficult on average with very tense situations (like in Marginane) or deployment abroad. GIGN is part of the first circle of respondents of the COS (equivalent to SOCOM), and work pretty often with special forces. GIGN was thus deployed several times in external operations: in Afghanistan, the Gulf of Aden, Libya, etc.
