This is hilariously out of touch with reality! I never realised an MG42 was an assault rifle? In fact on this choice of list i`d only class the AK47 (purely down to the lives claimed over the decades with this EPIC and class leading of its time assault rifle) and the .50BMG sniper/anti material rifle.
