Thank you for opinion. I think that we should try to play not on the ghost ball but bit thinner because spin induced throw will push the object ball slightly towards pocket. But of course really important is distance between object ball and pocket because sometimes we can't play bit thinner or fuller.

At first I was like "What a great idea to use a bridge for consistency in tip placement for a tutorial video!" Then 6 minutes later I finally realized it's because you have one arm. 😅 Oops. Great video and lessons! Thanks, sir!

Of course and I understand it. Maybe it just happened because you didn't expect something like this. Btw this is not a problem for me because I am not consider myself as person with disability and fact that I don't have arm. I am just trying to give best possible content. I know that there may be some small mistakes in language but still improving it and I hope that in the future videos it will look much better :)

First of all, I want to commend you for overcoming having just one arm!!! AND.... being one heckuva shooter and teacher!!! This is one of the BEST tutorial videos I have seen in quite some time!!! I absolutely love the way you FULLY explain how the cue ball AND the object ball react upon contact, AKA: spin induced throw. This is something that an intermediate player (such as myself) really needs to know, likes to see, and most importantly comprehend, in order to get to the next level. One thing I saw that I wanted to mention (and I have NO doubt that you are more than aware of this, Sir) was at about the 16 minute mark in your video. I have found that applying the proper amount of backhand English on those long and extreme angle rail cut shots (in the 70-90 degree range!!!!) has proven to be very helpful to me once I found the natural pivot point of my shaft. I see that you are applying the correct spin in those shots without using BHE, but once again, BHE and FHE are two separate 'animals' in and of themselves and deserve their own videos no doubt. Great video and I am now a subscriber!! Than you.👍

I agree that it might be worth exploring BHE and front-hand English (FHE) in separate videos, as they each have their unique applications and can significantly improve one's game. Great vlog Mr Cueball. Last situation remind me Alcaide's shot from World Pool Masters against Kazakis on Hill-hill. This was one of the greatest shots ever under the circumstances

Thank you for this comment. I think that this Alcaide's shot was much more difficult because the cue ball was really close to the top short rail. He played bank shot and hitting the 9-ball in the correct point from this position was so difficult to judge 😎

Excellent video! I am from Augusta Ga. originally. There was an attorney there that played one heck of a game of pool and he had no arms. He had prosthetics of course and there were very few people that could beat him. Augusta back then (60 years ago) had some great players and he could hold his own with any of them. Keep up the good work.

Thank you very much for fantastic words. I know snooker player from England who doesn't have both arms and he plays really well. We are from the same Group of disability. There are so many people with different disabilities who plays pool and snooker around the World and then we can see that there are no barriers. I feel really good when playing one handed using my tools and there is a lot of confidence. Impossible is nothing 🙏

Good video. 6:46 here, I always find the midpoint between cue and MIDDLE OF GHOST BALL rather than between cue and object ball.

I am showing perfect example where we only need to hit the object ball so in this situation ghost ball is in the same place where object ball. But for example if you want to hit OB in different point then you need aim from different ghost balls🙂👊

Sure if you're trying to make a Kick shot into a pocket. Or you can do his method but then after finding point on rail goes the cueball move the spot an inch closer. The balls are 2 inches diameter in American pool. Well 2 and 1/4. Close enough. Still tho, the steepness of the angle can be such a minimal difference that will be lost during the shift. It's so intricate. Esp if it's a long full table kick. Hard to keep that shaft from moving even one degree when you shift over to the cue from the midpoint, assuming the midpoint you selected is even accurate.

Ok so my comment is based on the video i watch today and commented on... i believe its called cueball perfection. There were quite a few shots that i couldnt execute the positions were so unfamilair and arkward but i have to say i had productive practice today with those shots.... i thought i knew when in reality i didnt i have an idea but my execution was always poor and i try to avoid yhose shots... when they come up i get scared but the video motivated me to attack my fears.... once again i appreciate you so much 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Really important is what condition of cloth and balls we have in specific moment. Sometimes we are not be able same shot in different conditions. But all we can achieve with practice. Thanks a lot for your support😊🙏

Hi MrCueball! Great binge-worthy content and I doubt you'll see this comment, much less respond, but I'd like to see a video demonstrating various pro players' strokes. Some players have a long, beautiful almost "wavy" or loopy, loose and relaxed stroke resembling a"figure 8" or see-saw motion like many Filipino players, including Efron and Bustamante. While others have a high and frozen elbow with a straight take-back and follow-through. Hope I'm describing this right. I love Efron and SVB's stroke. Thank you!

@MrCueBall dude, that's awesome! Any chance you'd ever think about producing them? I'd love to have one for myself for sure! My left hand has had tremors for decades, so I usually play with my old bridge, but there's only so many things I can do with it since it's really not designed to be used like another hand. I've tried playing 1 handed, but that usually makes people less inclined to play me since it looks like I'm showboating, and it definitely doesn't help that it makes me a terrible shot. I'd love to have a bridge like that for sure, so it'd be cool if you sold them!

Can anyone explain the side spin in the plant shot? It seems counterintuitive to use left English as this would transfer right English on the first plant ball (?), which would then in turn spin induced throw the second plant ball to the right and away from the pocket? Or do I miss something here?

Side spin always pushes object ball a bit to the oposite side than used spin. So if you are using right english then this spin will push object ball bit to the left and will transfer low amount of left spin to this ball. This is nice visible in slow motion camera. In the future i will make video where i will use this kind of view to show how it works🙏

@@MrCueBall @MrCueBall thanks. I understand the spin induced throw. We have 2 balls here. In @13.10 you use left English, which should throw a single ball to the right. No argument here. However in @4.07 you are talking about when the cue ball hits it ball gives the object ball the opposite rotation. So my thinking of that in the case of a plant, the left English of the cue ball at @13.10 becomes right English with the first object ball if the spin transfers. Now if that's right English, it should throw the 2nd object ball to the left. However I guess that transfer of spin is not enough to have an effect? Correct?

@@planetscore The extent of the effect depends on various factors, including the speed and angle of the shot, the type of cloth on the table, and the friction between the balls. In some cases, the transfer of spin may not be enough to produce a noticeable effect on the second object ball, or other factors may counteract its influence. So while spin transfer can have an effect during a plant shot, its significance may vary in different situations. And really important is that both balls should be in touching position because if there will be small gap then we will not be able to make this ball like in my example. As you could see I said that we need to use almost half contact what is really important in this situation because if you hit it straight then it will not working. However I am not that much experienced to explain all details of this situation so I hope that it will be understandable for you 🙏

@@planetscore yes because we need to use a lot of side spin on the cue ball to transfer only bit of oposite rotation to the object ball. I don't know how much. Maybe 5% or 10%. On dirty balls it can be bit higher. So this effect is highest on the first ball.

Of course it's not offensive to me. Why would that not be allowed? I use the same support that is used by all players who need to help themselves during the shot where they can't use classic bridge. This is the only form of support when I have to hit from the center of the table. Prohibiting the use of such devices is like prohibiting the use of a wheelchair for people who cannot move normally. Everything is in accordance with the regulations and the spirit of sporting competition🙏
