Sachin has taken the responsibility to keep the scoreboard moving. Together they complimented beautifully. And before dravids arrival it was sachin who has done both. Ever saw 90s cricket?

There is no one like him. No one can ever be him (atleast in his mannerisms). True Gentleman in every sense. Have never seen him abuse anyone (not that bangalorean local boys are any lesser than delli boys in using mother/sister abuses while playing cricket, but have never seen him get frustrated and lose his mind any time). He supports his team, his country, his colleagues, i mean he is epitome of being the "Gentleman" bearing the flag of the "Gentleman's Game".

U know when drvd kicked out 2007 onwards forevr, the reason givn by bcci sriniwas, vengy,k more, shetty, srikant, dhoni and all "poor batting and poor feilding of drvd" He took 200 catches but always stands in slip position. Indian great feilders solkar, y sharma, kapil, azar, yuvraj, raina, kohli, ajay and rvindr jadeja, manindar, and mny more. Is drvd in this list or hv u seen these great feilder standing in slip? Slip is a hiding placement and catches probability is more always. Though Rahul Dravid was known for a defensive play, he recorded one of the fastest fifty for India in ODIs off just 22 balls against New Zealand in TVS Cup 2003. And he played many destructive 50s in IPL. That's mean Dravid could also played like hard hitter but he chose to play classic cricketing shots instead of clueless shots and get fours through bat ages.

Aftr wc 2011 he was selected in england just bkj drvd was with the team. Sachin, sewag, gmbhir injured. Yuvrj not fit ( u know his problm) Ganguly alredy retired So no choice, drvd got chance and he played only farewll then declared retirement from odi. 2007 when he dropped he nvr declared retirement like ganguly. Ganguly and drvd both dropped 1 or 2 matches here and ther. No idea wht for he was waiting for? So ridiculous. Mainly 2011WC he was no part of 15 mmbr squad also. Now if u see overall Drvd entered 96, then till 99 he was test then 99 he was odi team. So 99 to 2007 he played only around 8 years of odi career. U can chk, if i m wrong. Goodluck bro.

@@RahulSarwal lol Dravid's average in Aus is inflated by 2003-04 tour where both McGrath & Warne were absent... Even Lee didn't play that Adelaide test where he scored 233 & 72*... If u exclude that series, his avg in Aus falls to below 30 without a century... Infact he performed worse in India than away vs Australia in test cricket... I'm not bringing down Dravid's quality here but he's overrated as a test batsman while massively underrated as an ODI batsman especially in ICC ODI tournaments... Don't talk abt Kohli, he's not worthy to be compared with Dravid as a test batsman... I just replied to that guy who considers Dravid to be the best test batsman ever...

@@AmolAmrit ye gandoo drvd kicked out by dhoni and bcci 2007 and almost finished drvd's odi career that too halp of drvd's career. no part of even 15 members squad of 2011wc. now 2007 to 11 around 5 years 15 players better than dravid, then drvd is no16th, now 16th player drvd is "zattoo" its clear arithmetic my friend. 2007 to 11

When the aussies were at there peak during the 90s..they were asked who is the one batsmen to be picked from indian squad in thr team .. the answer was Rahul dravid ..instead of the great Sachin Tendulkar.

@@akashlapasiya no offence, akash sir, 99 wc drvd highest bkj sachin lost his father and he missed a couple of mthes. Sachin is higest or 2nd higest in all the 6wc he played exept 2007, tht too dirty politics and worst game plan of drvd, who sent him lower order for no reason. Drvd and uthappa comes before sewag, sachin in odi is shocking, surprising and ridiculous, no need to tell 2007 result. 22 balls 50 is waste innimg, just fluke. India already 295for 4 and drvd came and just played blind hitting, bkj its not drvd style, he is tuk tuk through out. He nvr done before or after. Just tell me akash sir, aftr 10k in odi, why he was dropped 2007 forevr just halp of his career? Why not part of 2011wc, why played farewell afr 4 years 2011? Bkj scoring runs and winning contribution are two different aspects. He is 25 MoM in both the formats which is liwest for leading player in india. Not a single MoM in all the wc. Ther is no sort of anchor role in cricket, each one has to play for win. He is total tuk tuk, slow, no attacking, no agression, very safe and important " no risk " batsmn just played to retain his place in team. Selection strategy in india if u r not petforming good, once u hit 40/50, ur 2 or 3 matches confirm and hit 70 or 100 then 4 to 5 matches confirm. No issue hw u scored it. Akash sir sorry, selection strategy wht i told hit 40 /50 ur 2/3 match and above 80 to 100 u r fix for another 4 to 5 matches confirm, thts the teqniq drvis adopteda and played till he dropped. Fortunately or coincidentally, during his career maych winners wr mainly sachin, dada, sewag, gmbhir, lxmn, azar, dhoni, kohli,rohit, and evn kaif, zaheet, bhaji. Yuvi, So he had to score just to retain his place bkj winning risk is taken by others. Very intelligent. So he stayed for so long in the team. Anyways, very sorry, dont mind Akash sir.
