Zendaya is one of the few child actors that has absolutely kicked azz and broke out into a bonafide adult superstar, acting, singing and seemingly avoiding all those pitfalls that child actors fall into. It's a sight to see.

It makes sense that Lindsay Lohan's character in "Freaky Friday" was made a musician, to accommodate for Lohan's musical abilities. Interestingly, Anna wasn't the lead singer of the group, but Christina Vidal's character was.

Yep. Those awkward dance scenes in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire required him to pretend he couldn't dance at all, when the truth is that even at that age he was a very good dancer.

Shirley Temple Black wasn't just a child star, she was a UN ambassador and heavily involved in charity work. It seems like most of the people you have focused on besides STB and NPH are all quite recent. I'd like to add another: Judy Garland was a child star with Mickey Rooney in the Andy Hardy films and 16 when she sang Over the Rainbow in The Wizard of Oz.

Garland started out a s singer and dancer on Vaudeville stages long before she began to act so she doesn't fit the scope of this list which is actors we watched as children then discovered they could sing. Her first appearance was at the age of 2, singing and dancing with her 2 older sisters as "The Gumm Sisters" (Her birth name was Francis Gumm).

Why is Shirley Temple on this list? No one is surprised she could sing. She was hired because she could sing & dance. It’s rare to find a movie of hers where she doesn’t sing. It would have made as much sense to include Miley Cyrus on this list.

I think maybe this list is for known child actors in acting only… When Ariana grande debuted on Tv, it was a musical series.. the roles here listed by the actors were non musical… so it was only when when they have other projects that people discovered they could actually sing.. like Miranda cosgroves role was famous for not being able to sing, Radcliffe to since he never sang in tv or movies… but yeah zendaya started singing in her debut show already.. it’s a confusing list

Daniel Radcliffe not only he can sing, but he can also dance, just look at his move and he looks very comfortable. Same thing with Neil Patrick Harris, he can also dance.

Fun fact: Zendaya's boyfriend, Tom Holland (Spider Man), also has experience with singing when he was younger, which also could help with the fact that they have much in common and could complete each other.

Just saw Daniel R in Merrily We Roll Along with Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez, the latter two being dyed in the wool Broadway actors with highly trained voices. With Daniel, it's more like he can carry a tune than he can sing. The difference was noticeable.

This should be a top twenty list because there are so many. Jodie Sweeten from Full House sang several times on Full House. And Tatiana Ali on The Fresh Prince. Allison Porter from Curly Sue showed she could sing on the voice. Jaleel White who played Steve Urkel can sing too. He sang on Psych and he's not bad. He sang on Family Matters but he did it in the Urkel voice so it didn't sound great then, but he's not bad.

She sings Competently, but it's easy to tell she's a novice. She wasn't bad, but when taking over a roll for Paige O'Hara, Not Bad isn't really good enough. Suprised Anneliese Van Der Pol isn't on here. She played Belle on Broadway and was a real powerhouse.
