indeed. I can't stomach playing Skyrim on my PS4 Pro due to it's incredibly lacking mod support and have simply been using my Xbox One for Skyrim (and pretty much only Skyrim). I'd love to actually get to use my Pro for it but I simply can't get into this game without mods such as "Ordinator" and some other QoL mods that Sony just refuses to allow support for.

i used to use mods like you, then i took an error in the knee.

Alidon's Armory is shit unless you're cheating, Golden and Silver weaponry is decent at best, never heard of "complete archery overhaul", I use "fix your aim buddy", and immersive smithing.

Well us PC people have so much available that we don't even give a second thought thought to the console mods. We've got massive overhauls, nsfw stuff and perfectly sensible mods that can make the game play like Dark Souls or may simply add new dungeons and quests to the game. You name it we've probably got it.

These mods look fantastic! Definitely a must download. *Ps4 Skyrim application crashes from loading way to many npcs, foliage, environmental placements, constant fighting, and more*

I still don’t understand why Sony doesn’t want their players to use better mods. What do they have to lose by it? I play on PS4 and although there are some good mods, they’re no where near pc and Xbox mods. I want new armors, new weapons new quests and a better looking skyrim but I can’t have that because Sony doesn’t care about their customers.

i heard it was because when sony was hacked years ago and went with a more closed in anti hacking method(don't quote me on this) to give skyrim full mod support they would need to give bethesda(and modders) the keys to their network(a BIG security breach), although i am most likely wrong.

I do love the performance of my PS4 but I love mods and I’m in awe of the sheer volume of extra content people make for us out of sheer passion which is why I also have an Xbox. I can’t afford a PC set up.

Also JK’s Whiterun + The Autumn of Whiterun is the best combination of mods I’ve seen to completely elevate Whiterun into feeling like a real, dense, lived in city. They’re 100% compatible with one another and absolutely worth checking out.

I feel people don’t give enough respect to Skyrim it self the game it self is amazing and has gave people a new way to play open world games like it not a lot of games let alone open world games dose what Skyrim dose So don’t just say the modders are making the game better when the game was already great to begin with, its building the format for other open world games that’s coming out now

Thank you for showing our mod honesty I’ve probably put an unsafe amount of time in creating them lol. Currently within the Rising Threat add-on I’m adding the old ruins of the AmberGuard village next to Bleakwind Bluff from what I have found in lore that’s roughly the location of it. Finding free time atm is difficult between work and family but eventually I’ll get it finished.

Kato's Riverwood is giving me some fps drop so i'll try with Ozymandy's to see :) , it's sooooo cool that there's always some vidéo for Skyrim moddig on ps4 thank you !!! I'm srcreaming like a wolf in the middle of the forest in the south of the France to show you my happiness x)

You should check out valkyrja armory by pleeko it adds a little bit of customization to nords, a well crafted story of the Valkyrie the mod's name is based on that you will find by traveling to every city and finding notes, it also adds some weapons and armors with unique enchantments, a bunch of unique spells, and a better version of black soul gems that in lore let's you trap human souls without sending them to the soul cairn (pretty useful when you role-play as a good guy but also need some strong enchantments)

Witcher 3 has nothing compared to skyrim lmao. Witcher 3 is a great game and i will also say the main story is better. Thats not what makes skyrim way better, skyrim is endless and offers more choices. Skyrim is obviously the best open world game. Even currently theres more people playing Skyrim than witcher 3. I like the witcher 3 but the fun is definitely limited compared to the endless time in Skyrim.

The best ps4 mod i seen is called Many More Spells. its even in my Xbox1 LO. Shame it is getting ignored, its the only actuall spell mod the PS4 has (Yes its better than Phendrix magic)

I feel like there should be dome sort of approved setting where i can earn ps4 achievements while having a harmless mod. Ex: unofficial patches

Well, I can say now that outside anyway, Obsidian Weathers are 100% better. Tried both by them self, Surreal lighting made it really dark, but with OW I can actually see at night. Both together make the game a black mass at night

Is there anything similar to the cooking and alchemy mod on PS4? I would love to have access to bombs and the updated system.

Realm of Lorkhan is excellent, anyone who has played this game before does not need to go through that long. Long carriage ride, again The great cities ditto, and I would add the mod that improves the university of mages by Elianora

Thanks for this! I've been using HASTE for a while now and I'd say it's my favorite - balances things out quite nicely. Between that and Amazing Race Tweaks, I'd probably go into shock playing a game where a carriage ride is only $30 and I can't craft my own lockpicks.

@@sasori6699 It balances the game out and makes things a little less stupid. Some things benefit you, others don't. For example, if you straight up murder someone and there's a witness, there's no "I'll just pay my fine" because the bounty is now 10,000 septims, and when your bounty is that high prepare to be fighting off bounty hunters throughout the hold. On the flip side, you can now craft lockpicks, cooking raises alchemy, and the distance you can be spotted committing a crime is much lower. Like I said, I've been playing with this for a while and it's probably the only mod I couldn't live without. bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4048641

Honestly, I downloaded HASTE completely on accident, and don't regret it in the slightest.

I just found out about mods two days ago, I’m really looking forward to that patch and the weather one. Yeah I can’t play one account because when I walk outside the door I blow up and die so that was really game breaking hopefully this will prevent stuff like that

Just to make you aware if you have the unofficial Skyrim special edition patch on and you are going for the master thieves guild armour then you will have to disable to patch because for what ever reason when the patch is installed you will be unable to complete the last mission that requires you to do “special jobs” in each of the main cities,you will have to complete 5 altogether but with the patch on only two will ever appear.I spent HOURS doing those city missions when this happened to me so hopefully I’ve saved someone a lot of time.

I found a number one which had dragon bridge and rorikstead aswell

Sony won't allow any assets that aren't in the vanilla game. We still have some pretty awesome mods by really creative people but they're nowhere near as good as Xbox or PC

True Legendary difficulty is becoming my favourite mod. You basically die super quick but so do your enemies. Combined with five followers limit mod and it becomes a brand new game

Wondering if the upcoming 10 year anniversary edition will finally allow external assets.

I like your list Do you know if the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch fixes the vampire tanned skin issue I created pale-skinned Breton character and every time my character becomes a vampire his skin gets darker and he kind of resembles an 80's era wrestler LOL So does the USSEP fix that issue If you know anything about the matter it would be a great help Thank you in advance Note: It has nothing to do with the "burned face" bug or the "dirty face bug" caused by the eye liner

well, ps4 cant get the good mods from pc or xbox, xbox mods still use external assets, the ps4 cant support those, so we need cool workarounds

What armor is the one you used in the second place mod?

Number 10: has been changed to "World Encounters Overhaul" with the updates I noticed.

I would have put the great cities mod a bit lower as they just feel a bit thrown together

Hey man, thanks for the list! I've just gotten Skyrim Special edition (yep, 7 years-ish late) and I'm ready to jump all in. What would you (or anyone with some experience) recommend as the essential mods for the first time player?

To be honest I would play it without mods to start with to get the trophies! But if you're not worried about that I would say the unofficial patch should be first on your list, but after that it's really up to you and if you like the sound of certain mods. Here's some recommendations: Unofficial patch Immersive citizens More blood and gore Dense grass VioLens There's loads I could recommend but that's just a few I wouldn't live without.

To that list, I'd add Immersive AI, better combat AI, and possibly Project Hippie

So if you play with any mod on you can't get any of the PS trophies? Just wondering because I just started also and I will want the trophies. Thank you
