it's one of those shows that had a lot more potential than was realized, and also catered to a kids a little bit too much. But I also loved it.

Shadowhunters, Wheel of Time, Merlin, Discovery of Witches. I would loved to have seen The Witcher up there, and Shadow and Bone.

The nevers was such a great show it sucks that it was canceled before they could go deeper in to the story line

That should be a joke... 3rd season was such a great disappointment.... nothing happened at all and even in the last episod, "the last fight" was just the last parody.... After spending hours of time to watch and talk about the Weaver power, Diana kill the vampire in just 10 seconds. One of the biggest disappointments was the meeting with Sato who was Weaver as well and was completely shown, how she goes for that training as well but what's happening at the end? Same old tricks.... burning hands and get back to the ground in less than 10 seconds... Hip Hip Hip Hooray!

Wheel of time Merlin His Dark materials... watched them, and they were so so good... I recommend them❤❤❤❤

His dark materials hands down the best. It really dived deep into the golden of compass.

The wheel of time and The Discovery of Witches are the Absolute best series.

Discovery of Witches was awesome!

Most of these shows are based on books of the same name though the TV versions tend to drift, sometimes dramatically from the books. I have seen all these shows and read all the books and they are all well worth watching. Wheel of time being one of the best fantasy series ever written and hopefully with the new seasons coming the TV show creators can bring the story back to the books because the first season drifted that far from the books it lost a lot of us. The best of these shows in my opinion are A Discovery of Witches and by far the best is Motherland Fort Salem.

I discovered Merlin because of the shipping with Arthur. Granted, they fit for each other. Petition for a BL series for them. As for the series, I tremendously enjoyed watching it.

There was an episode like that in Penny dreadful (the finale of season 2 where doctor Frankenstein and one other character are in a room bewitched by the evil witches where they see their biggest fears come into the room and try to convice them to suicide) really recommend this show btw, you're hooked from episode one.

I quite enjoyed the Shadowhunter series it had a lot of potential for expansion of the story The Wheel of Time absolutely excellent series The liberians a bit light-hearted at times but overall a decent series Motherland Fort Salem love the series hated the ending The Nevers wonderful series tremendous potential but true to form jackass Executives canceled it I liked Sabrina it had some issues but all in all not too bad Once Upon a Time started over very strongly I must confess I did not see that later seasons His dark materials. enjoyed it. Merlin could have been better not a very big budget A discovery of witches I enjoyed it I was hoping for five seasons though

Also Charmed isn't on this list either old or new. The Order, Half Bad, Always a Witch, LockWood & Co, Shadow & Bone, Sandman... I could go on. worst list ever.
