When I was a kid we took our tree down Jan 2. Now at 60 I keep mine out all year. It's pink and lights up and it's only 3 ft. I love the lights

❤ I'm 48 and remember the same Jan 2nd, school the day after. 🤗 I haven't had a tree since 2010, but this year my grandson's Calico cat came to stay. My 8 yr old grandson insisted the kitty would love it. Sure enough, it's an enchanting addition watching the twinkling lights and a happy kitty. 😊

Instead of the expensive cord covers and ziploc bags to protect connecting cords outside during the holidays, I use Glad Press n' Seal --- the stuff works great!

We bought a Samsung washer and dryer a few years ago and have nothing but problems. Thank goodness we have a home protection program because we’ve had to replace the dryer motor twice, and it just started making the dreaded “replace me” noise again. The washer has its own issues. Sometimes, it just doesn’t feel like spinning, so we have to shut it off and start the whole cycle again. 🙄

For anyone who is shopping for a new dishwasher....give serious consideration to the Midea model in this video. I have owned this exact one for about 2 years. We are a large family and it runs 2 to 3 loads every day. I didn't know much about the brand when i bought it. I have zero regrets with my decision to take a chance on it. After 2 years of fairly heavy usage, it still looks and performs as well now as it did then.

Matt, I've been using the "Twist and Seal Cord Protect" product for a few years now. Based on my own experience, these work very very well. They form a proper seal when closed due to the durable rubber gaskets on the product. They are well worth the investment to protect cord couplings in wet weather. For the record, I also tape the cords together where they are joined using electrical tape for good measure. Also, I have not experienced a scenario in which this product was lying in a low spot and submerged completely in water. I do not believe it would withstand such conditions. But for typical rainfall, snow, and morning dew type moisture, they have worked very well so far. Five seasons and running. In fact, I will be using them today (11/18/2023) as I am putting the lights up this afternoon! Hope this might help some folks. Thanks for all the great videos!!!

Get the Holiday colored totes AFTER THE HOLIDAYS, if at all possible! They Clarence down very low because of their colors!! I’ve gotten some after the fact and it’s fabulous!❤❤❤
