You can tighten the sheath will a hair dryer, just warm the sheath an press it down on the knife to fit to shape, no more rattle.

I carry a Black Jack neck knife while fishing on the river. Love the magnetized leather sheath. Solves the retention problem. Nice little blade.

Just got a Goliath and I love it. Started EDC in a small shoulder bag and it's good to have something immediately available just clipped inside. Size and quality are great so far.

I carry a utica necker it's American made. It's the perfect size for my hands. I wear a med glove. Never seen anyone do a video on this knife. Their other knives are very well thought of. They do amazing job with the edge and the thickness is just perfect. I'd put it against anything out there.

I got my 3 pointer last November. It's been on me everyday since and has Field dressed 2 white tail, 1 black bear, and 3 bull moose without having to be sharpened just cleaned and stropped after each animal. My 2 only gripes are the brass tube in the lanyard hole makes it impossible to fully clean the knife without risking possibly ruining the scales by pulling the flared tube through them and that there's no jimping out by the tip

Love the 3 pointer !

The Moki Banff (wharncliffe) and White River Backpacker are the two pocket fixed blades I use. You should check out the Banff line - very thin, hollow ground and mirror polished blades. Fit and finish is excellent for the money.

That Patriot is so nice looking, and that thin ass bird n trout you showed afterwards was 🔥! Dig em, thanks for the share

Absolutely love the Patriot. It's probably my most carried knife in the past couple years. I've got a Northwoods/KSF two pocket slip for it Allegany or Pocono, I forget. Perfect size for the tool pocket in Carhartts. I've also got a BRK little creek that's fun but a bit chunky for as small as it is. I carry it more as a tiny gentlemans fixed blade, so not very often LOL

You don't know for sure if its the Allegany or Pocono? Probably the smaller one huh? I noticed you can get the Patriot for $71 with no sheath. And those sheaths look really nice.

Tangram brevis. Very inexpensive, hollow grind, decent steel (Acuto 440). Super small light and perfect backpacking knife. Speaking of which thanks for showing the fairly backpacker, one is now on the way :)

I like the bradford guardian 3, but it has to be the wharncliffe with the kydex sheath. Put an ultra clip on it and it's extremely easy to pull and put back into your pocket. That sheath has a perfect spot for your thumb when releasing it.

I carry the Holtzman's gorilla survival neck knife as a pocket fixed blade. I did take off the removable Kydex Loop for the fire steel to make it a little smaller, and just more pocket friendly. At 6 1/8 inches total length with a 2.75 inch D2 blade and chunky 3.5 finger grip it just works for me👍. If anyone has experience with the different add-on clips for Kydex, please let me know which one you like and why. Right now I'm kinda thinking the UltiClip - Slim 3.3 is probably the way to go for me.

Mora Eldris, Gerber Vertebrae an Outdoor Edge Little Duck are three great small fixed blades.

I really like the discontinued Outdoor Edge Wedge. Sadly, mine is near the end of it's life. I really wish they still made it. Just a great cutter that can ride really low in the pocket. Ultra secure in the sheath.

I’ve been on the hunt for the Mcnees.. should check out the Bradford Knives G-Necker as well

Really like the 3 pointer. Tops is all about that big deep jimping tho.

I like TRC knifes I'm buying now Speed Demon it's 180mm and it's little beast . Mada from M390,Apocalyptic finish , kajdeks sheat. 90% Hand made price is 250€ but knife is yust unbelievable.

Love this video. Some fantastic small fixed blades here. Only one I’d really add is the SPK Shark and perhaps the Bradford Guardian 3 or 3s. Love that last one you showed, obviously 😎

I almost added the spk Sasquatch but it’s not an easy one to get and the only reason my guardian 3 didn’t make it was because it was over my 4oz cutoff however it would have definitely made it along with the White River M1 caper 👍

You should check out the Rainer Knives Fastpack I think you would love it because I am currently testing it right now and it just might dethrone the backpacker for me if it continues to do great 👍

I like the CIVIVI Circulus at 1.01oz. at 0.12" blade thickness, not as robust as the lackey but good for my city EDC needs

Man the edge termination is awful on some of them especially the Mcnee perfect edc knife and the one we both got at blade. Some great ones there for sure

I think you can still get all versions of that GTI on Chicagoknifeworks. Is Jake Hoback a controversial figure these days? Love that sea snake exclusive. What did that version run you?

This would have been the perfect video for me, but after some more research I found out that in California no matter how long the fixed blade is, if I carry it concealed, I can be convicted of a misdemeanor or felony based on the discretion of the judge prosecuting me. Ridiculous....

NYC has its knife laws almost the opposite of yours regarding concealed. Check this out from the New York City Police Dept website as of 2022 March 31: "New York City law prohibits carrying a knife that can be seen in public, including wearing a knife outside of your clothing. This applies to all knives, even if the blade is not exposed. When any portion of the knife is visible, such as the clip, hinge or top, this is considered in public view. This rule does not apply to those who carry knives for work that customarily requires the use of such knife, members of the military, or on-duty ambulance drivers and EMTs while engaged in the performance of their duties. New York City also prohibits the possession in public of a knife with a blade that is 4 or more inches regardless of whether any part of the knife, including the blade, is visible or concealed. This rule does not apply to those who carry knives for work that customarily requires the use of such knife, members of the military, or on-duty ambulance drivers and EMTs while engaged in the performance of their duties."

You guys in CA and NY need to put different thinking folks in charge… Here in Texas, there are no illegal knives, or ways to carry. Although big cities like Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio are full of idiots trying to make everything illegal. Especially Liberty. Good luck to you. 👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸

I blv NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THE GROUP should be in the "TOP 10 LIGHWEIGHT POCKET CARRY EDC FIXED BLADES". Why? Because a major component of "Every Day Carry" is that it also should be (at least reasonably good) for self defense, if ever needed. None of those would be such. Why? Because none of them have, in my opinion, sufficient finger (guard/protection). I blv in every instance...if any of them should ever be used/needed in that realm, the risk of serious injury, or worse, to your own hand is very high. For that reason...they all are FAILS per EDC (much less to be in the "TOP 10"). Aside from that...they all are cool knives and likely are very useful for the purposes you've described in the video. Thank you for the video.

Since I’m not trained in edge weaponry I would never carry a knife for self defense because the odds are I’d get killed with my own knife plus if it ever came to that which i hope it never does then I’d try to use my conceal carry firearm however if you are trained or fill confident in using one to defend your life props to you 👌for me my edc knives or strictly used as a tool so for my top 10 that’s how I rank them but I do understand how others top 10 could be different because they have different purposes for them 👍🍻🍻

I understand. My comment is purely based on - from my experience, per the vast numbers of ppl that have EDC knives as potential Self defense as a/THE major reason for their Every Day Carry. Even so, I appreciate your video and I think the knives were of high quality. Thank you.
