​ Worst decision.. influenced under corruption. Malaysia, Poland and Philippines were befooled by offering a trainer aircraft modified and equipped with wepons load.

The FA 50 is also top because it is proven and has seen combat. Tejas looks to be interesting but need to see how they will do in combat situations

In my opinion hal Tejas should be on the second number and Saab gripin on first, those are only two dedicated fighter aircraft, Everyone else is a trainer in steroids, the Kai t50 can be 4th after jf-17 at 3rd place.

L-39 NG is not the old Albatros, the design might resemble it but I'd say original L-39 is way closer to L-159 than to L-39 NG. I think it goes by "L-39 NG" mostly for the marketing purposes as the original L-39 is well known and used worldwide. But they are two very different airplanes.

@@zoravenerova8205 It is very different. L39NG have larger fuel tanks in wings and hull. Not on tips. Much better aerodynamics, body is much stronger and built different. It is based on L39 or L159 body, but its new plane. I was making parts in 2019 when i was working in Jihlavan, company that was making gears and hydraulics for L39NG ať that time. :D

NG stands for "next generation" and I don't know why it has such stupid name when it's completely new airplane, just shape is similar to old L-39, but there is only one physics and one aerodynamics, so it makes sense that general shape is similar. Body of that plane is from some hi-tech material, so it's very light compared to old L-39. This airplane is also proof that our industry can build such complicated thing as combat airplane, but politicians say we can't make stupid tank, such a nonsense, they just don't want to do that for some reason. BTW, company Aero exists since 1919, it's pretty old and traditional airplane company even in worldwide comparison. It's said that their planes are mostly meant for training purposes, they should made something better, but I guess development would be crazy expensive with no sure profit.

Ale politici říkají že na to nemáme kapacity a technologii. :D No já nevím. Najednou to "nejde" I když na to máme knowhow, zdroje, kapacity atd. JF 17 should have been included in comparison, LCA TEJAS 1A is much ahead of all other LCA's of the world ,but it is not in service till now and so not taken into consideration ,So the present Tejas can not be No 1 It is heavier than Tejas mk1A by 1000 kg and lacks AESA Radar

The Textron Scorpion should be disqualified because nobody has bought it. It's a wonderful design, simple and affordable but it has'nt sold one plane.

Not too horrible a list but I would not have added the Tejas. It is a multirole fighter that happens to be fairly light. By that logic, if weight is the main indicator of LCA then the Saab Gripen, which only weighs 500 pounds more when empty, should be included. Also, they have only mad 40 or so of the Tejas. Not proven at all.

That's why Czech army will send L-159s to pension in 2035 and after that, we will have only drones for such purpose. These light planes are nice, but without some anti-missile system, it's just flying coffin and that anti missile shield is probably more expensive than whole drone, but LG-39NG has technology from Israel, so who knows what that plane can do.

I think the LCA Tejas is much superior to the ones shown. Reason being its got the best avionics, Rader, and can carry much more ammunition than the others and its got air to air and buddy refueling capabilities. I have seen videos of the Korean lca it doesn't even come close to LCA Tejas. Early even I thought the Tejas was not good enough, but when comparing and checking I found LCA Tejas much more superior with advanced technology and composite material used which makes it semi stealth. No doubt that its a better and good fighter trainer.
