@@will0wstxrif an earthquake is going to happen sometimes it will cause the oarfish to get confused and go to shallow water instead of the deep sea, so yes they can be an indicator that a storm is coming but the fish itself isn’t dangerous (also I’m not sure that the oarfish getting confused is the reason why they come to shore I just know that they do when and earthquake is on the way)
