Story is really shit though

I've watched all of these except Demon Spirit Seed as the OP main character are what I like. Not always a fan of keeping their power a secret but sometimes it's obvious as to why it is necessary.

One correction, in the eminence in shadow. Cid didn't even know the existence of the demon cult, everything happen was just coincidence but he just continued it since he already started it

Eminence in shadow is an anime I can vouch for. Such a worth-watch anime dude. Also his main goal isn't to destroy the cult or whatever, he just made it up. He just wants to fulfill his background character npc fantasies and live a good life. If that sounds boring, that just means you should watch the anime to blow your expectations away. I wish I could rewatch this anime with a memory wipe, I've rewatched it for 3 times already

100% agree. The concept is a bit random and farfetched, but the execution is perfect. From one-sided 'battles' to harems, MC has it all. MC just wanted to pursue his dream of the personality-gap between a nobody and a battle-god, but that bring us to the series' biggest annoyance: The BSer plot. Everything MC coincidentally says/goes/does is real, although Cid Kagenoh doesn't know. Luckily, the harems, fights scenes, and comedy help viewers to overlook this as too big of an annoyance.

For this anime, I prefer to read the manga. because many essential and exciting scenes were cut in the anime series

The anime for death march doesn't really do the light novels justice. But it is a good starting point to get an idea of how the MC's interface works. I just wish they hadn't skipped over the details of his four unique skills, it is such a critical plot point and they just glossed over it in the anime for time.

9:11 Satou from Death March is ALOT stronger then Demon Lords. He is basically the Creator God of that Universe. He doesnt know his true power yet and he could merc Demon Lords no problem but he doesnt know how to chant so he cant cast advanced magic and scrolls (how he bypasses chanting) only can go up to intermediate magic level. He can always use his Meteor powers to kill Demon Lords but he doesn't want collateral damage so he only uses his god tier power when he isnt around civilization.

I like how many of them starts in a way they make you think they want to subvert the genre (hey look! It's your standard isekai but the MC isn't overpowered! Instead he's weak! And he doesn't even have an harem), and then proceed to incarnate every single trope of the genre at the end of the first episode (lol jk, he is actually overpowered)

Decent vid. Most of those anime were described fairly well, but The Eminence In Shadow was honestly barely even given a slightly accurate description of the show. May as well have been describing a completely different anime. Particularly both his motives/actions and his groups view of him were way off the mark. Definitely deserved to be on this list, though. Eminence in Shadow is one of the few animes that has an actually enjoyable reason for hiding ones power, pretty funny even. Worth the watch.

The Eminence in Shadow is better than I thought it would be. I was a bit taken back about the sudden change from the first episode and the 2nd episode but you get used to it. I've read the manga and caught up to the present chapter........spoiler......looks like girl from the first episode will make another appearance soon(I'm hyped for it). As with most series, the manga seems better but the anime is serviceable. Overall, it's probably the best Isekai I've seen in many years. It seems to be a more "full" Isekai than Black Summoner, How a realist hero rebuilt a kingdom, etc(which I also enjoyed)

It's an upcoming anime but this protagonist could solo every single Charcter you will ever think off. His name is Yogiri Takatou and he is the protagonist of a light novel and manga called "The Other World Doesn't Stand a Chance Against the Power of Instant Death" or just "instant Death" for short. So what is instant Death? It's more or less your typical Isekai. A bunch of Japanese kids get transported to a generic fantasy world and are given magic powers so they can go on adventures or some shit. But this is an Isekai with a twist. One of those kids is Yogir Takatou and he already had a special power before he got sent to the other world. His power allows him to basically kill anything he wants just by thinking about it. And I mean literally anything, he can kill people, animals, monsters, the undead ,actual gods, beings that exist beyond time and space, inanimate objects, existence that's does have a concept of death, and metaphysical concepts like *gravity* . Yes you heard me correctly this man can kill *gravity* itself. He can kill things that aren't even alive or shouldn't be able to die in the first place. He can kill beings that live in other universes, other dimensions, or in completely different planes of existence. Death is instant. All he has to do is think "die" and you'll die immediately. Death is absolute. Anything that is killed by Yogini can never be resurrected or restored, you are dead forever. Not. even immortal beings or people with strong healing factors are safe. And that's not where the bullshit ends. He also has the ability to sense murderous intent in others and his power will automatically kill anyone who seeks to kill him, no matter who or where they are Literally, if you even think about killing him, you will die. You can be on another planet, billions of light years away from him, and if you think "I'm going to kill Yogiri Takatou" you will die instantly. You cannot ambush this man, you cannot sneak up on him, take him by surprise or hide from him. Oh, and fun fact, Yogiri is protected by Fate itself, meaning that he literally cannot lose ever because fate will always guarantee his victory. He's a whole ass Suggsverse character. And the crazy part about this is that these aren't even abilities that he was granted when he got isekai'd. He's had these abilities back on Earth. Because Yogiri isn't even a fucking human, he's the living embodiment of the concept of absolute death, the end of of all existence, the literal apocalypse in human form. He doesn't simply kill things, he ends the very concept of things. All this shit that I've just listed out are his base form. He actually has seals that limit his true power and his true form is an omnipotent, omnipresent cosmic horror entity *He is a Keter-class SCP that's pretending to be an Isekai protagonist*

Also noted in the manga when Yogiri kill a door (yes he killed a door) he explains that it doesn't matter what deaths mean is because he *decide* what death is. For example if he get locked so he decide to kill the door, death for that door mean opening itself.

He can even kill non existing thing like in the LN where his ghost friend Mokomoko were caught by another ghost. But because he can only see Mokomoko and not the the ghost who grab her he *assume* something was there and killed it.

In the anime, it needs to be explained about it. I am sure the main character was summoned ( in the first episode ) to the fantasy world because of a god's mistake. You may have uncovered it through the manga. No problem. Thanks for the additional information for me.

there's also a manhwa called solo leveling, its basically like these but really good, probably better, i suggest y'all read it, it's really good

Out of all of these "My Isekai Life" is one of the most disappointing purely for the anime. I mean when this anime was first announced I was more excited for it than any other that was coming around the same season. But my expectations were smashed down hard. The anime skips over much of the beginning and side quests and encounters which are actually the most interesting and entertaining parts!! Overall it is a very rushed and watered down version of what is actually a really fun, and many times very interesting isekai story. The manga itself has done a thoroughly fantastic job of adapting the novel without actually boring you.
