Great video! What are the biggest CONs about using CapCut?

Pro tip: generate several minutes of green screen footage of an avatar with text to voice. Then faceswap to brand face and replace audio track with brand voice. It's an extra step and requires a little bit if planning , but it makes a huge difference for your content and consistency when building brands.

Auto captions are Great but of course do need to be manually edited because there is no auto captioning that is 100 percent accurate if someone is speaking quickly or in an accent.

Very cool. Is there a way in CapCut desktop version to transform a video into an animated video (cartoonize, anime, line art style, etc.)?

The motion blur feature is great. Will definitely be using it in future.

Absolutely - which was your favourite feature?

I produce a youtube a day and auto captions has issues big time! Sometimes the vocals don’t match the captions for some reason? Auto captions has issues with dates? For example the vocal nineteen hundred (year 1900) it just writes 19. Dates like say vocal 1937, it’ll print 19 3 7. Capcut are a bit like Adobe, off chasing the high end effects and forget about the groundwork basics!

I agree - they’re not perfect but it’s some of the best autocaptioning I’ve seen. And the animations you can do on them now are superb. You can always edit the words that are off in the captions tab.

How can I put effects in favorites/templates on desktop version??

Some of these are no longer free. But it's still good and definitely worth paying for.

No, I have the free version.

I love that you can make short videos out of one long video. But the problem I faced is that now my videos has this weird movement to it, and I did not put there, on purpose that is. So I've been unable to use it. Plus I liked the auto captioning, but you do have to manually go in and correct it and as a novice I had difficulty navigating. I think I could benefit from a cap cut course. Thank you 😊

Thanks Alicia! Hmmm, my experience was it handled weird movement well. Try playing with your movement settings. Yes, sometimes the auto captions aren’t perfect and require some tweaks. Better than doing it all manually imo

Matt, I'm contemplating getting CapCut. My concern is that it appears to allow editing only videos shorter than 15 minutes. Is this correct? Thanks.

I have an issue if i want to cut the middle part of video and i mark the video start and end only the video cuts but not the effect and text and audio added to that video i want the whole piece of video with effects added to be cut

Can CapCut extend the length of a song like Adobe Premiere? Automatically extend the length to a set amount of time?

Is degree of blur dependent on the speed of movement of different areas?

It is - the slower the movement, the less motion blur applied.

@@MattLoui I concur. But it has one major flaw. You can't have multiple time lines open or copy from one time line to another. So how do you create long from projects?

@@Hypnotist1 Completely agree - it's a little rough for longer form projects. Good folder management and building a strong brandkit/favourites folder helps speed up the process.

@@MattLoui Text to image and text formats so far. Now you have to pay extra for text to image on phone as well. You can get text to image free anywhere nowadays.
