I agree, the market doesn't make a lot of sense to me right now so I always approach times like that with a lot of caution. Plenty of time to snag these cards so I'm in no rush!!

The squirtle and pikachu from 151 I feel will do well much later down the line. I have pulled both of these and they are no where near psa 10 candidates. The squirtle especially is known to have so many print lines. I pulled one with 4 print lines.

Yeah I agree completely!! I've got one squirtle that has 2 running top to bottom. My 5 year old could care less but I'm pretty peeved LOL

I'm officially on the hype train for Stellar Crown!!
Psa creased mt blastoise in half, but besides that, i just got 17 out of 19 psa 10s on almost all engish SV IRs and SIRs. Groudon, raichu, 2 charmanders, squirtle, charmeleon, 2 gardevoir ex, venusaur, iron valiant, walking wake, gouging fire, all stuff like that. Very very good day for me

Ha! It's a hard habbit to break but I've been working on it... it's silly but I'm committed!!
I have been collecting these in psa 10. I think the illustration rares are my favorite part of S&V. And the lower gem rates of the early ones make them awesome chases. I think obsidian ones are the sleepers. Paldea is popular enough it will likely get reprinted. I don’t obsidian will. And if it doesn’t those IR’s are going to do really well long term. I think Paldea is risky as it will likely be reprinted and be much higher quality.

I totally agree that there is a lot of upside in these and I think long term these current prices will be absolute steals!! I'm actually excited for the Paldea respring to see if Gem Rate changes... if so, it's a reprint if not it's a restock. I've had some questions on that in the past so I'll sue data to help me form a conclusion!!

For the moment I don't see the same upside in the Japanese space simply because they seem to be printing to demand and with the quality so high PSA 10's are kinda a dime a dozen which hurts the long term growth potential BUT, for a personal collection it's hard to beat them!!
crazy how i was thinking about buying the eevee for 44 bucks and i thought it was too much then today its selling for 100+ that is ridiculous

Yeah there is a lot of craziness like that right now... I just can't wrap my head around it all
I love and dislike how the population is so low that it's hard to gem, because it gives an awesome chase. Just sometimes that chase is expensive or really hard to get.

I just got 17 out of 19 psa 10s on almost all english SV irs and SIRs, including groudon, raiuchu, multiple charmanders, squirtle, ect. They are harder to source, but not so hard that its a waste of time. Im loving it.

@Reds-Card-Case Dang, thats really good. I just don't get lucky with the pulls or finding them. But ill definitely be checking out some raw ones at collect a con NJ next week to try to grade or buy the graded ones.

Yeah thats the crux of it all right? Low Gem drives chase but also drives price. I think the back half of S&V won't see that problem so it will all work itself out!! Great input!!
