Stam is so underrated. She can do everything. She has a cool smooth runway walk, effortless....she has the FACE to sell any cosmetic....she's editorial, she's commercial....incredible. She may not have the clothes hangar body quite like Snejana and Vlada....but she's so much more alive than them.

My pick for 2006 is Sasha Pivovarova. She did 6 Vogue Covers. And she also won the award for best international model in Shanghai that year.

Yeah, as I explained in the 2004 video when I switched Hana for Gemma for the #2 spot, I still stand behind that video however as time has progressed and more knowledge I've learned, some of the choices I made with that video (the runner ups more than anything) have changed but no too drastically, a #2 or #3 are very close and very subjective so...It doesn't really change anything :)

When Bella cries publically on IG because it's really hard to book 30 shows a year, Vlada hid to cry cuz she booked so much shows, her skin literally swoll because of make up and taking off.

Yes sure, they were all very Eurocentric during that time. But you cannot deny how they absolutely killed it on the runway every single moment. Still iconic if you ask me.

Screw with the diversity. We need the girls who can strut the runway with strong and fierce walk, attitude, stage present, memorable face, great skills on runway, and star quality. Today's models are just the ordinary, not memorable, no star charisma and quality, and don't have great skills on runway walk like models in 00's era. 00's and 90's era are the best era of supermodels and top models. Today's generation can't compare and beat them up.
