Dixie is one of the first hiking KZreadrs I started watching and I adore her. She’s smart, funny, and as a Floridian, I really respect that she did the Florida trail. Hi. I would have put Dixie higher on the list, she is the real deal and agenda free. I would put Eric Hanson in the top 10, he does a nice mix of content. I have to join the rest and promote Jupiter, such great down to earth content. A different twist, Amanda Outside does hiking, Back Packing, car camping and a lot of great food, a real mix. Paul Messner for British content. A well deserved #1 for Miranda, I think she helps to make the outdoors accessible.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention Sintax77 as an OG guy, as he hikes up in the Whites a lot. Crazy how he’ll drive 12 hours from Delaware for 2 night weekend trips. I love Bryce Newbold too! Probably my favorite of your 10. I’ve also been a Kyle Hates Hiking fan from even before his KZread days. His podcasts are outstanding with a variety of guests. Anyway another great vid! @@rootsandpeaks no problem! Be careful though, Sintax77 is a rabbit hole you can't get out of haha. He's a hammock nerd and loves his Dutchware gear. But you'll love all his White Mountain vids. He also did a hike with Kyle Hates Hiking a few years ago in the Catskills, that's a good one to see both their perspectives. He goes on a ton of solo trips, in every season. He'll throw on a 40 lb pack and hike the snow in the Whites, or he'll do an ultralight in the Smokies in the summer. Lots of variety. He takes his wife along sometimes too, those are fun big pack and "luxury item" type trips. Enjoy.

I love the idea of this video! I feel like you pulled a bunch of my (KZread) friends into one place. Another rec, on the food side of backpacking, is Outdoor Eats. Chef Corso has literally changed the way I eat on the trail. Great food suggestions and recipes worth checking out.

Great list. A couple 'locals' that I like to watch is Justin at 'It's Good in the Woods' and 'Seth's New England Trails' Justin has a good mix of hiking and camping and canoeing with a little bushcraft and homesteading mixed in. Seth does a lot of hikes in the Whites with some in RI with some trail running mixed in. Going through the comments, lots of other good creators mentioned. Also great to see comments from other channels that I watch and interact with. There's so many good creators out there, it's hard to choose who to add to your list. I mentioned the two above because they are local to New England.

I like your list and that I learned about some new channels. I really like Justin outdoors but some channels I didn’t see even I. Honorable mentions is Paul messner and chase mountains. Great international content and chase has moved on to more of the body prep to get you put and keep you out.

I must be doing something right, seven out of your ten are regular suppliers to my ever growing knowledge base. You did miss one of the best however, Lone Wolf 902, from Nova Scotia. Great videos, fantastic locations and very experienced, I also think Eric Hanson from Backpacking TV should also be in the top ten, his experience and knowledge of all things camping and hiking is simply incredible. I also like the fact that he and Dan Becker sometimes do hikes together, always interesting! I have now subscribed to your channel, bring it on!

I also like My Own Frontier with Joey but he is not posting as much lately but has been on some great hikes recently with Catherine Gregory (Cat) which are very well done. Her channel is very good. Also The Wander Women are incredible and I really enjoy their videos, especially their triple crown series. Shug, Sintax77, Frozen from Outdoor Adventures, Jupiter, Darwin are all very good and I also enjoy Paul Messner as well. Firebox Stove is also fun to watch with his dogs and pack goats.
