Dixie is one of the first hiking KZreadrs I started watching and I adore her. She’s smart, funny, and as a Floridian, I really respect that she did the Florida trail. Hi. I would have put Dixie higher on the list, she is the real deal and agenda free. I would put Eric Hanson in the top 10, he does a nice mix of content. I have to join the rest and promote Jupiter, such great down to earth content. A different twist, Amanda Outside does hiking, Back Packing, car camping and a lot of great food, a real mix. Paul Messner for British content. A well deserved #1 for Miranda, I think she helps to make the outdoors accessible.

Woo Buddy, don't forget Shug. Hands down the best personality period. After all, he is a retired clown. Most of his content revolves around hammock camping, but he's worth the watch. Sintax77 and Adventure Archives were already mentioned. Adventure Archives do the best editing on KZread.

The Hungry Hiker is awesome! Spectacular scenery and her food videos are great. The Gear Skeptic is AMAZING- his series on ultralight nutrition can help you practically cut your pack weight in half. If you want to wander outside of the US, Muddy Bootlaces never fails to exude pure joy even when in pain all while educating on the importance of LNT and advocating for preserving wild camping where it is truly under threat of being banned. Great video I've always been intrigued by backpacking and have enjoyed my share of hikes as well. I made a goal this year to spend more time in the mountains around me (Utah). Ran into some medical issues while training. To get over my last issue to restart my training I recently had bilateral hernia surgery. @@rootsandpeaks no problem! Be careful though, Sintax77 is a rabbit hole you can't get out of haha. He's a hammock nerd and loves his Dutchware gear. But you'll love all his White Mountain vids. He also did a hike with Kyle Hates Hiking a few years ago in the Catskills, that's a good one to see both their perspectives. He goes on a ton of solo trips, in every season. He'll throw on a 40 lb pack and hike the snow in the Whites, or he'll do an ultralight in the Smokies in the summer. Lots of variety. He takes his wife along sometimes too, those are fun big pack and "luxury item" type trips. Enjoy.

Thanks for spending time to watch it! I really appreciate it.
Excellent list. I would have added Alice Ford from Alice Ford Adventures, her you tube videos are very good.

Yeah, she is great.
For actual hiking content you can’t do better than First Church of the Masochist or IB TAT. They do a pre and post gear review for each adventure, and excellent videos on trail. FCotM is unbelievably prolific - PCT, CDT, the Eastern Continental Trail (Florida to New Brunswick of which the AT is just a part), and is currently paddling the entire Mississippi source to sea with his partner, Taters.

@@RainerGolden that is so nice to hear! Thank you. Starting a channel is hard!!! You obviously know. I’m glad you are enjoying the videos so far.
Some great Aussie and Kiwi channels out there too - to check out for when you make your international list : Kate Grarock, Scotty’s gone walkabout, Elina Osborne and ‘set to hike’ . Thanks for making this and to everyone who commented their suggestions. I now have a lot of new content to watch while convalescing 👌
Good stuff man. I keep up with the backpackers to get a different perspective than my military experience. Many seem to hate on Becker just because he's an average dude and anti-UL elitist

I really like Kraig Adams, as well. His videos are so relaxing.
My all time favorite channel is Adventure Archives. Highly recommend. Also, Camping with Steve, Lone Wolf 902 and Outdoor Boys.
Awesome list! I found some new channels to watch
