Hail to the king is easier than Fuel let alone Sandstorm in which I got golden star after many tries(in Hail I did it in first try)😅 For me Song 2 is one of the hardest.And Carry on... has organ solo which is much harder

Hail to the King is so easy. I perfected it the second time. Missed one note the first time. Definitely harder songs.

I definitely would have expected Toxicity and Don't Fear the reaper on this list. Kind of surprised it's not :0

I agree with toxicity, but don't fear the reaper is just kinda repetitive with the face buttons. It is definitely a lot harder in pro lead though.

My top 10 for the hardest leads in the game (after playing them all): 10. Before I Forget 9. Cantina Band 8. I Wanna Get Better 7. Breed 6. Sandstorm 5. Hail To The King 4. The Edge Of Glory 3. Carry On Wayward Son 2. Change 1. 8 Bit-Beat Honorable mentions: Basket Case, Welcome To Paradise, With Or Without You, Stronger, Chihiro... and most things from the video, except Highway Tune, it is very easy.

100% agree with #1 it has such a good solo part too. Maybe do hardest lead song on pro lead😮

I would say that Hail to the King and Carry on Wayward are so difficult only because of one or two moments in which you barely manage not only to see the buttons, but also to distinguish the corresponding notes in the song itself by ear

Change feels like a Guitar Hero 1 Bonus song that is available to purchase when you get enough money lol

Carry On my wayward son is the same way. that organ part is insane although I did get lucky with it a couple of times spamming the buttons lmao.

Ngl Hail to the King was pretty easy and fun due to how rapid the notes are.

Can agree to a certain extent, but: - HtTK has a harder overall chart. -COWS has the harder solo. (Nothing in lead matches it [8-bit vocals are the only thing that comes close])

@@Blurgamer17 maybe this is a bad way of judging difficulty of a track but me personally I sight read FC'd hail to the king on my second try, while it took me around 15 tries on carry on wayward son. The organ solo is literally like chiasm but more forgiving. And on pro mode it is also very very hard. I still haven't FC'd it on pro.

I’m guessing you’re arguing Carry on Wayward Son is harder. I found the part at 10:33 and the organ solo to be about the same difficulty. So it came down to the rest of the song for both. COWS has the first guitar solo also, but other than that I think the rest of the chart is easy. HTTK has the part that plays in the intro twice and the section at 9:50 twice. Again not incredibly difficult but considering COWS only has the first guitar solo going for it, I think HTTK is the harder overall song. I was actually pretty confident when ranking it #1, but I understand your reasoning. Really I just can’t wait for some truly difficult songs.

@@MrCrazyChicken carry on my wayward son i also kinda have the same issue with - if these 2 songs had their difficulty consistent with the solos it'd be a different story (i do find the wayward son solo a little bit harder, but yeahh rest of the chart is definitely easier) my honest pick for hardest is probably a weird one but... honestly it's probably basket case? it's not a 7 and it doesn't have a crazy solo but the way it is charted is *rough.* it is deceptively hard to play and way too easy to get tripped up on i really hope that at some point epic adds a true 7 that can manage to keep up the difficulty throughout the whole chart, and also that they realize it is fine to have to play 2 notes in a row on the same hand even on controller cause honestly that's one of the main things holding their charting back

Funny enough the only song i have flawlessed is #1 on the list

watching this list made me want to make my own. Personally, I don't disagree with the songs that are in the top 10 (though I would have changed maybe one or two) but I heavily disagree with their order. Breed being 10th is just criminal to me 😆 my top 4: 4. Breed 3. Change 2. Hail to the King 1. Carry on Wayward Son Maybe my disagreement comes from being a keyboard player rather than controller, idk - but Highway Tune (imo) is easier than Heartbreaker side note: I do still love the tierlist videos

Honestly I thought people would come after me for even ranking Breed in the top 10 lol. I think only the solo is difficult and because of how repetitive it is I didn’t think it was that bad, though it is fast. I think it’s definitely different as a controller player, I never really take other controls into consideration. Glad you still enjoy!

@@MrCrazyChicken I think it's difficult ranking songs if you can comfortably flawless them repeatedly. But also different skill sets make things harder. Things like trills are a very common pattern in festival and just vary in speed. So for those who struggle with trills, something like Breed or Change would be insanely different.

@@MrCrazyChicken as someone who plays both controller & kb, i'd say some charts are easier on kb and some are easier on controller (mainly has to do with how nasty the single-lane trills are)

Carry On Wayward Son is easy 99% of the time. It’s just that damn organ solo!

Nah I feel you. I have a similar thing with, I can't FC Transparent Soul on Drums, but I can't FC Basket Case which is easier

I definitely considered it, probably could’ve put it over Take My Breath as a HM. But even though it has one of the fastest sections in the game I feel like it’s really easy to learn. It’s 6 seconds you have to learn (two brutal 3 second sections) but the rest of the song is a cakewalk.

@@ralsideltrun1391 lead still has 2 difficult parts around the middle and towards the end, tho they aren’t very long because of the song length I feel because it shows up twice that it deserves to be on the list, considering some of the less difficult songs on this list are easier in my opinion than 8 bit lead

They haven't realized there are better keybinds in control than the preset, which, due to using the left and right dpad (the alternative movement control used before the sticks were invented), they can't go crazy with doubles. Also, most charts have patterns that represent how the instrument is being played.

Highway Tune maintains its difficulty throughout the whole song, Change has the hardest section but the rest of the song is pretty much a cakewalk in comparison. That’s my reasoning but it’s fair to rank Change higher
