Don't worry, it's super fun and each level feels refreshing and unique. The harder difficulty compared to the hero mode feels gratifying to players who've completed single player first, so I'd do that :)

Don't be scared, I'm sure you can beat it! I got the Octo expansion as soon as I got splatoon 2 about this time last year, and I finished it in about a few months. I'm now going back and 100%ing all of the levels because I enjoyed it so much. Also, free gear!!

He's right IMO. Rollers ink in straight lines, and I honestly hate using them unless it's for stealth kills, and just can't use them without rapidly flicking ink rather than rolling it. I'm not too big on the brushes either, but I honestly think they ink better, especially the inkbrush because of it using less ink and being faster. It is just my opinion though. ^-^

5:39 footloose station is actually really easy because all of the enemies are standing on crates that break as soon as you hit them so you can just roll with the ink brush and kill them all really fast. As long as you yourself don't fall through the holes that is

gnarly rails is literally one of the easiest levels ever. I used it for grinding (heheheh) cq points before i unlocked the one hit station

ik im 9months late but when i was re doing this one anytime i would touch big amounts of ink i wouldt die but when the ink was (i kid you not) microscopic to were you cant't see it i die

2:00 In Dinky Ink Station there is a crate immediately to your left at the beginning that contains a ink refill, if done properly you only need to beat one of the side paths. You could also use the refill to make missing your shots less punishing.

A lot of these levels can be easily beaten with a different weapon or method. Also, I love those box sculpting levels. After a long session of HELL, it feels good when your not being CHASED BY OCTO SNIPE- *ahem* In my opinion, I like those levels.

Why is gnarly rails station in honorable mentions, it’s so easy Edit: I know about the part at the end. But that’s why u take the time to be aware of you surroundings and think about how to do it. 8-ball levels are easy if u take ur time I can agree with the last one inly if u use a blaster, other wise, just break the red crates.

Its possible to beat dinky ink station without fighting the flying enemies at all.

Yeah that level is a bit weird. Personally if I can recall, it took me 1 or 2 tries but I've seen for others like yourself, it takes a lot more tries. I don't think it necessarily has to do with your skill but more with rng of the AI.

I mean the level design is ingenious but also rage inducing to the point where I just decided just to not do the rest of the levels and just go straight to the final boss although i didn’t really find the footloose station that hard the others make sense and I actually loved how some of the levels had references to like older console’s like the GameCube

Ok, but the music for “ride with me station” is such a banger. Who knew Splatoon had electro swing music?

I feel like the hardest stations for me are matchmaster, targetbuster, move it move it and righteous rails. While some on the list, like the car one, are hard, you have enough checkpoints and free room to not feel too stressed. However, with the above 4, one slight mistake causes you to start from the beginning, making it especially painful.

What I love is I see so much hate on the matchmaker stations and I’m just sitting here enjoying my Saturday shaping a dog out of some boxes. LOVE FOR THE MATCHMAKER STATIOOONS

1. you're never forced to use a weapon unless you wanna get to inner agent 3 (you said you are forced to use the rapid blaster pro to break the boxes on the last one lmao) 2. other than that nice video. but this is just your rankin since most people will probably have different rankings. i personally find all the 8 ball stages easy (except the billiard one with the splat charger)

Girl Power is really easy if u memorize the spawn points. I also struggled with move it move it but if u just start at the corner and slowly walk horizontally you wont take damage at all

3:50 u legit don’t have to use the vertical flicks and u can get the two moving crates with one horizontal flick.

When I finally beat Ink & Watch Station, I actually cheesed it. On the third platform, I was down to 1 crate left when I ran out of ink. I panicked and used my dry roller to break the crate with direct contact before CQ exploded the ink bag. It counted as a win.

There was a time where my parents didn't want me to buy downloaded content ( with my own money ) so I couldn't get the Octo expansion on release

In the octowasher one you don't need to use the vertical swing so it is actually much easier and doesn't deserve a spot on this list

3:22 do horizontal flings, on the 2nd part horizontal fling when the boxes are about to align. vertical fling only at the 3rd part.

RIDE WITH ME AND RIGHTEOUS RAILS STATIONS ARE SO TRUE. Those were the only two I've raged at thus far.

ACTUALLY..... The bamboozler is a good weapon. People call it trash since they need to get good, The bamboozler requires a lot of skill and those who have that skill, I respect, If you call it trash, you don’t have the skill for it. Also, most of these levels were pretty easy with the highest weapon (not dinky ink tho, THATS where I agree) The eight ball levels and gnarly rails station are also easy. JUST. GET. GOOD. A lot of these levels are very easy... Inner agent 3 is the hardest...

Nathan McElroy it's even easier than that. Go in front of him when he's on the edge which is most of the time since being hit won't result in being off stage.

To unlock the secret boss you have to get all mem cakes without hacking

Matchmaster is in my opinion one of the fun ones because with the rapid you actually have to figure out how the blast radius works and how to use it

I had problems with everyone on the list but the honorable mentions I didn’t even realize they were hard. I just breezed through them.

imo since i'm a stupid new player all of them were hard and i cried 50% of the time

1:25 that station was sooo easy but all the other in this video are hard

Cant touch this station: *exists* Me swimming in 1 pixel ink: its free real estate

I remember when I first got Octo Expansion, and had a tough time with the Move it Move it Station, and never was able to beat it before story completion. When I went back about a month later to clear all of the levels, I completed it first try. Ultra Instinct?

Tip: only use the verticle swing for the cratestack at the end. with a horozontal, it's easier to hit the first 2.

Asian Magikarp the fact that it isn't a fricking 'everybody can use this weapon' like a clash blaster, bloblobber or n-zap doesn't mean that it can't be as good as them. If you think the bamboozler sucks you just haven't seen a good user yet.

Also I have seen plenty of good users during the inkling vs Octoling splatfest and none of them use the bamboozler

For Ink & Watch Station, you can hold the roller out to break a lot of the crates at once, only necesitating 3 flicks in total.

I know this video is old, but I'm wondering, what is the version of "regret" playing during the Honorable Mentions section? Is it a mashup or a remix? I really wanna hear a full version...

Girl power was actually easier for me than Move It Move It. 😅

I disagree on you’re list because I only skipped girl power station out of beating all 79 others and lemme tell you it was worth skipping one because the hat is better than a MOTHER FUCKING GOLDEN HAIR PIECE tell me you disagree with that item not being worth it and get me to believe you because YOU HAVE TO BEAT LITERAL SATAN FOR JUST A FUCKING SHITTY ITEM and sure it is a 3 * item but come on just use a super sea snail on the tiny hat because it’s better than fighting literally Satan in real life if you were both using guns
