I agree with you, these are probably the 10 best Brazilians, but in a different order.

Neymar is one of the most overrated players in football history. He was NEVER the best player in the world in his position, and he won 1 UCL, that's it. Putting him above Marcelo, who was the best LB in the world for years, and won 5 UCLs does not make any sense whatsoever

In fact he’s probably been the best itw for his position TWICE. LW in 2015-2017. And CAM for 2018 and 2020. @geosmurfes3157 Ronaldinho was effective but less consistent. Dinho partied too much, and didn't train much at all. Only turned up to training on the Friday so he'd be selected for the Saturday. In Italy they train tactics very intensively

As a non - Brazillian. It's difficult to rank this because of the old vs new divide. But of the modern era I feel I am well placed as I actually watched them play. 1, Pele - arguably the goat 2, Rivaldo - best all round player of the modern era before Messi came along. Did more for Barca than any of the other Brazillian supestars. And Brazils best player at WC02 & WC98 and Copa America 1999 imho. 3, Zico - Arguably the best player never to win a WC. 4, Romario - More clinical and decisive than R9 and outscored him when they played together. 5, Ronaldo - Most talented player on the list but was never the same after France 98. 6, Garrincha - Won a world cup by himself, some say better than Pele. 7, Jaizinho - His world cup exploits are unbelievable. 8, Rivelino - Maradona's idol and inventor of the elastico. 9, Didi - Before Pele there was Didi. 10, Ronaldinho - Had 1 good game for Brazil imo, lucky to get in ahead of Socrates. Was brilliant at Barcelona but not as Deadly as Rivaldo, Romario or R9. Honorable mention - Socrates, Careca, Kaka, Bebeto, Carlos, Cafu, Tostao, Gerson etc

@@morkujinirukandji4820 I have seen Ronaldo and Rivaldo. I give Rivaldo the edge and I'm qualified to make that statement. After WC 98 Rivaldo overtook R9 in my eyes - in 99 he was clearly better. I don't think R9 really achieved what he could of. Zico is a great shout but he never won the WC - whilst Rivaldo starred in 02

@@chesterkillen9160 yh by younger fans. Ronaldinho would make the lower end of the list. I know a lot about Brazillian football. Dinho was not better than Rivelino, Pele, Zico, Garrincha, Jaizinho, Didi. Thats 6 players who were definitely better than him btw. I would personally take R9, Romario and Rivaldo ahead too. So Dinho may struggle to make top 10 imo.

Neymar was talented but there were plenty of talented brazillian strikers who may of been better than him - Bebeto, Careca, Elber, Jardel etc.
