I remember watching this series with my cousins when we were younger. Our house was under construction so we stayed at my grandma's house for the time being. My cousins came over and this series was on, and there was this one episode that we watched, called "You Don't Scare Me." It was about this girl that wasn't afraid of anything it seemed, and in the beginning, the teacher was telling a local legend about "mud monsters", and I remember when the monsters emerged from the mud and roared, I tore out of that room as fast as I could. Yeah...that gave me nightmares for a bit.

ik it was one of those goosebumbs that were unique in its own way, the monsters being just evil people instead, and it was really lacking of the cheesiness that is in the majority of them! thought the perfect school was so creepy, but also really cool

I used to be terrified by these episodes... The intro song still gives me goosebumps tho (no pun intended) but it's also so nostalgic... I especially had a nightmare of stay out of the basement, in the dream, my dad was a plant...

Welcome to dead house totally scared the shit out of me. Also I like how Goosebumps was pretty much The Twilight Zone for kids in the '90s.

Watching these episodes as an adult, I'm still impressed by R.L. Stein's and the producers ability to create a real feeling of tension and horror that was still kid friendly. They mentioned this recurring theme of authority figures not believing you, and that was prevalent in almost every story. It's super effective because at that age you're essentially at the mercy of your parents or guardians because you don't have the power to make important decisions on your own.

Yeah I know right? The Tower of Terror was a thriller, but Werewolf of Fever Swamp was terrifying.

I remember back when I was about 6 and I watched the werewolf of Fever Swamp VHS in my dark bedroom at night. Had nightmares for years and the occasional panic attacks. These types of episodes from the franchise really had the power to scar us to a certain degree if we were to watch them at a certain age.

I wish they made more than 4 seasons. 😢

The Werewolf of Fever Swamp was always my favorite Goosebumps installation. Got me into loving the werewolf genre. I do not regret it.

I love all the episodes. Even the cheesiest ones that made me laugh. One of the episodes that scared me so much was the one with the Mummy. I remember watching it along with other episodes on Fox Kids.

The Haunted Mask really brings me to tears. I feel so much sympathy for Carly Beth and how she was driven to the point where she no longer even liked herself. Nobody should have to go through the emotional pain and agony that she went through.

I felt sympathy for Amy from Night of the living dummy II. Everyone turned on her and she even lost a friend because of things she wasn't doing. And she couldn't prove it because who would believe a dummy is alive if they hadn't seen it

The nostalgia is strong with this list.... Goosebumps was my childhood. Think I watched every episode and read every book. My favorites were the pick your own path novels; the ones with multiple endings. I always died though; strangled to death or turned into a wax statue or something like that lol good times

I am 15 and love that show so much. I watched it with my mom and honestly it's better than most "kids" shows today. I am also reading Goosebumps and Fear Street.

The Haunted Mask was by far the best one, but I think the sequel should have been mentioned too. It felt just as scary if not more.

Welcome to Dead House should be ranked higher. There were some downright terrifying moments in that episode.

Goosebumps man, I was so addicted to these books when I was a teenager for some reason then when I saw it come on tv for the first time I was like huh! It's about to be a tv show now? I felt like somebody read my mind as i was thinking what if these books were kinda...real or seen as a movie or something. I think the best thing about Goosebumps when I used to read the very first books was the books always read to a TWIST at the end or some type of LESSON learn. Perfect for young minds to adapt to. Good work R. L. Stein.

Yea, read the book. It's like every mask in that shop had a personality that was cursed on the person who dared to wear it. It changed their voice and everything.

I love the original voice of Slappy is more terrifying than the new version. Maybe not like those type of talking puppets

Fever swamp was a classic for me. I used to always love that one, and watched it on vhs

I read those too, besides Goosebumps, Give Yourself Goosebumps, and Goosebumps 2000s. I also watched the Animorphs show.

I had all the books growing up and used to love watching the series, I still watch it now because luckily it's on Netflix The show used to scare me as a child and now I can just sit back and laugh at the things that used to terrify me This is the best video you've made, bringing back the best childhood memories for me I just don't know why I've just seen this video

the perfect school. was literally a fever dream for me, i never remembered it after i watched it, wasn’t as good as i remember. still a terrific concept

I can't remember why but the one about ghost dogs fucked me up, I think it was called The Barking Ghost?

I don't really remember much about it, so I dunno why but I have a vague memory of that being the scariest episode -in my opinion. I might need to give that a re-watch and see what young me saw in it that's stuck with me.

I read "The Girl who cried monster" in Grade 7 and now I feel lucky to have read one of the best of Stine's series. The first book I actually bought and read was Goosebumps Easter bunny when I was 11 years old

Idk what the episode was called but the episode with the dummy returning the dummy starts bringing other dummy's to life and turns little Hayden Christensen into a dummy. He climbs i top of him in his sleep and breaths into his mouth turning him into a dummy. When I was a kid I was so scared of that that I always slept on my chest cause I was afraid the dummy would turn me into one so sleeping on my chest wouldn't let him turn me. It was so silly but makes you laugh at little kid logic

+marblown Yeah, that one gave me nightmares as a kid...oddly enough, I never had that problem with the other ones. But all the stuff you mentioned plus (if I remember correctly) the Excorcist-type head spinning at the end of the episode was enough to scare me for a while. I liked the dummy that beat him up, though.

I remember when cartoon network used to show this back in 2007. I was so excited because my brother used to watch this show when he was the same age as me at the time.

I'm 8 years old. And I love Goosebumps,I haven't watched it in a while now but I'm planning too convince my friends to with me at my first sleepover. It's a great series,my favourite episode has to be One Day at HorrorLand. :) Or those episodes where his comics come to life I forget what they're called but they were my favourites too. :D

Goosebumps was quintessentially 90's gold! It carried that classic ending twist.

1:53 Such a plot twist. I also read the book and I did not expect it.

I went from this and are u afraid of the dark to round the twist. Then when i was a bit older like a teenager i watched tales from the crypt. Thats great too
